Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of coffee shop interior design and ambience on the purchasing decisions of Generation Z consumers at Central Caffe Gresik. Using a survey method with 100 respondents, this study explores how elements of interior design and ambience affect visit frequency, visit duration, purchase amount, and intention to return and recommend. The results indicate that both interior design and ambience have a significant influence on purchasing decisions, with ambience having a slightly stronger impact. These findings provide valuable insights for coffee shop businesses in designing strategies to attract and retain Generation Z customers.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the growth and yield of cabbage (Brassica rapa L.) plants grown in a hydroponic wick system using varying doses of AB Mix nutrients and Azolla liquid organic fertilizer (POC). POC Azolla is expected to serve as a replacement nutrient in hydroponics. In this study, a one-factorial group randomized design was used where P0: no POC Azolla nutrient and P1: AB Mix 100%; P2: POC Azolla 100%; P3: AB Mix 90% + POC Azolla 10%; P4: AB Mix 75% + POC Azolla 25%; P5: AB Mix 60% + POC Azolla 40%; P6: AB Mix 45% + POC Azolla 55%; P7: AB Blend 30% + POC Azolla 70%; P8 : AB Mix 15% + POC Azolla 85%. Three replicates of each treatment were performed. Annova was used for data analysis: Duncan's distance test should be performed at a significant level of 5% if a difference is found. The average growth variables of plant height (16.5 cm), number of leaves (18 strands), root length (18.33 cm), fresh plant weight (81.17 g) and dry plant weight (4.42 g) showed the same trend in the combination (AB Mix 75% + POC Azzola 25%), suggesting that this combination could be an alternative to the AB Mix 100% treatment.  The hydroponic cultivation of the wick system on Pakcoy plants has not been able to prove the use of POC Azzola alone. The use of POC Azzola is at least able to reduce the use of AB Mix by 25%.

Abstract

Brown leaf spot disease caused by Bipolaris oryzae poses a significant challenge in rice production. The use of synthetic pesticides potentially leads to adverse effects on ecosystems. This study analyzes the efficacy of Jadam Wetting Agent (JWA) as an adjuvant in controlling the disease within the operational area of the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) in Panceng District, Gresik. The research methodology combines quantitative and qualitative approaches, involving 60 rice farmers as respondents. Results indicate that JWA application effectively reduces infection intensity by 47.04% and increases dry grain yield productivity by 14.53%. The adoption rate of JWA technology remains moderate (46.67%). Factors significantly influencing adoption include education level, land area, knowledge, and farmers' attitudes. In conclusion, JWA represents an effective and environmentally friendly alternative for disease control. A comprehensive extension strategy is necessary to enhance JWA adoption among farmers.

Abstract

Rainfed lowland fields represent marginal agroecosystems that are highly vulnerable to drought stress due to their full dependence on rainfall as the primary water source, often resulting in reduced rice productivity. Therefore, adaptive and high-yielding varieties are required to sustain production under these conditions. This study aimed to evaluate the morphological characters and yield performance of five rice varieties, namely MR 20, Kusuma, Inpari 32, IR-64 Jumbo, and Pak Tiwi 2, cultivated in rainfed fields during the dry season. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications. Observed parameters included vegetative traits, generative traits, biomass, and grain yield per hectare, which were analyzed using ANOVA, LSD test at 5%, and correlation analysis. The results showed that Inpari 32 excelled in vegetative traits and yield components such as panicle length and 1000-grain weight. MR 20 performed best in total grain number, filled grain number, and grain weight per hill, while IR-64 Jumbo produced the longest panicle and the highest yield (7.5 t·ha?¹), comparable to MR 20 (7.3 t·ha?¹). Correlation analysis indicated that grain yield was positively associated with panicle length, total grain number, filled grain number, and root biomass. Overall, MR 20 and IR-64 Jumbo are recommended as adaptive and high-yielding varieties for rainfed lowland fields in the dry season, whereas Inpari 32 is superior in yield components and grain quality.

Abstract

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) play a crucial role in ensuring quality and consistency in the dolomite fertilizer production process. This study aims to analyze the implementation of SOP in the production process at PT. Magnesium Gosari Internasional. Using a qualitative activies, interviews with production managers and staff, and a review of relevant literature. The findings reveal that the company’s SOP implementation effectively enchances work efficiency, product quality consistency, and workplace safety while minimizing errors, SOP also ensure compliance with industry standards, support controlled operations, and improve the companys’s sompetitiveness. The effectiveness of SOP in maintaining operational stability demonstrates the company’s ability to meet market demands and foster trust with customers and business partners. By implementing well-structured SOP PT. Magnesium Gosari Internasional successfully strengthens its market position and sustainability in the fertilizer industry.

Abstract

Lamongan Regency is one of the regions with significant potential for aquaculture development in East Java. This study aims to map the potential of aquaculture in Glagah, Turi, and Karangbinangun Districts as a basis for sustainable aquaculture development planning. The methods used included primary data collection through field observations and interviews with fish farmers, as well as secondary data obtained from the Lamongan Regency Fisheries Office. The research stages consisted of identifying geographical conditions, aquaculture land area, leading commodities, number of aquaculture households, and cultivation systems applied in each district. The results showed that Glagah District has high potential for brackish water aquaculture with milkfish and vannamei shrimp as the main commodities. Turi District is dominated by freshwater aquaculture such as catfish and tilapia using traditional systems, while Karangbinangun District has developed semi-intensive to intensive aquaculture systems. The main constraint faced by farmers is the limited availability of production inputs, particularly subsidized fertilizers, which increases production costs. In conclusion, aquaculture potential mapping is essential as a foundation for policy formulation and the development of more effective and sustainable aquaculture in Lamongan Regency.
