Abstract

Arabica coffee leaves (coffea Arabica L.) are known to contain flavonoids which have antioxidant activity. This study aims to find out whether arabica coffee leaf extract can be formulated in the form of anti-meat pell-off gel mask preparations. The gel dosage formula is made by comparing the concentration of arabica coffee leaf ethanol extract with formulas 1%, 3% and 5% . The gel that is formed is tested for physical properties and stability. viscosity value of viscosity of 7500-27050cps, spread power of 5-.7.5 cm. Pell-off mask preparation for homogeneous produced arabica coffee leaf ethanol extract, PH 5.1-6.1 stable in 4 weeks storage, non-irritating to the skin and long drying 22-30 minutes, Arabica coffee leaf ethanol pell-off gel mask provides better anti-aging effectiveness for 4 weeks compared to blank. The F3 pell-off gel mask (5%) provides a better anti-aging effect than other formulas.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the HOTS aspects developed in chemistry textbooks for class XI odd semester SMA/MA in Palangka Raya based on the HOTS aspects according to Brookhart's theory. HOTS aspects in this study include: analyzing, evaluating, creating, reasoning and logic, decision making, problem solving, and creative thinking. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The source of the data in this study was the question papers for Class XI Chemistry Textbooks for Odd Semester SMA/MA in Palangka Raya. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of HOTS aspects developed in Chemistry Textbook questions for Class XI Odd Semester SMA/MA in Palangka Raya is 43,9% consisting of 11,6% analyzing aspects, 8,4% reasoning and logic aspects, 3,9% aspects of decision making, and 20,0% aspects of problem solving, while aspects of evaluating, aspects of creating, and aspects of creative thinking are not developed in the textbooks analyzed. Thus, it can be concluded that the questions developed in the analyzed chemistry text books still pay little attention to HOTS aspects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah instrumen tes yang valid dan reliabel yang dapat mengukur penalaran matematis peserta didik dengan melihat prosedur pengembangan dan kualitas instrumen tes penalaran matematis yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian research and development (R&D). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang mengacu pada model 4-D (four D models) yaitu Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Pendefinisian meliputi dua tahapan yaitu a) studi lapangan b) mengkaji sarana-prasarana sekolah, dan proses pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini melibatkan 3 orang pakar dan 25 peserta didik kelas IX H SMPN 5 Kota Serang. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa: (1) instrumen tes peningkatan penalaran matematis sudah dikatakan “valid” oleh pakar karena berdasarkan formula Aiken’s diperoleh rata-rata 0,62. (2) instrumen tes peningkatan penalaran matematis sudah dikatakan reliabel oleh pakar dengan nilai 0,81 dengan kategori tinggi menurut Goilford. (3) uji validitas empirik dikatakan valid karena nilai rxy (hitung) > rxy (tabel). (4) koefisien reliabilitasnya 0,637 termasuk kriteria tinggi. (5) 6 peserta didik (24%) memiliki kemampuan penalaran matematis dengan kategori sangat baik, 6 peserta didik (24%) dengan kategori baik, 6 peserta didik (24%) dengan kategori cukup, 3 peserta didik (12 %) dengan kategori kurang, dan 4 peserta didik (16%) dengan kategori sangat kurang. Dengan demikian instrumen yang dikembangkan ini dapat diandalkan dan dapat digunakan sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian.
