Abstract

The role of electricity is very important for every level of society and even electricity is very much needed as a means of production and for everyday life, so the importance of the role of electricity certainly has an impact on increasing electricity demand but this is not linear with electricity that has not been able to meet demand the electricity is so big. To overcome this, there needs to be interference from the government and the community in using electricity wisely so that the electricity needs do not become greater than the electricity supply. Therefore every household must understand effective electricity use. The observation method taken by the author is to collect and collect data from PT. PLN Lubuk Pakam Area. In addition, the author collects data from books related to the discussion that the author wants to describe and conduct research at PT. The Lubuk Pakam Area PLN is concerned with the discussion. The author also reads several journals concerned with the discussion material. The application of the Predictive Modeling method is expected to be able to predict the amount of electricity usage per household so that it is easier to regulate electricity usage. household electricity use tested by the Predictive Modeling method, the percentage results obtained for the accuracy of predictions, where the data on household electricity usage tested contained data on household electricity usage that were successfully classified correctly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan model pembelajar kemampuan siswa kelas X IPA 2 SMA N 1 Kawali  dalam membaca puisi (sajak) dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Model penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas / PTK. Prosedur PTK (Penelitian Tindakan Kelas) ini dilaksanakan atas dasar tahapan-tahapan sebagai berikut: merencanakan PTK, melaksanakan PTK, melaksanakan observasi, dan melakukan refleksi. Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam Pra Siklus dan dua siklus yaitu Siklus 1 dan siklus 2. Peneliti melihat adanya peningkatan dalam jumlah prosentase siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas KKM. Pada tingkatan pra siklus prosentasenya adalah 7,5%. Pada siklus 2 jumlahnya menjadi 100%. Peneliti menghitung peningkatan jumlah siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas KKM sebesar 92,5%. Sedangkan untuk prosentase pemahaman materi pada tindakan pra siklus adalah 61%. Diakhir siklus 2, jumlah ini meningkat menjadi 85%. Ini berarti bahwa total peningkatan yang terjadi pada prosentase penguasaan materi adalah sebesar 69,5%. Pada aspek keterampilan menunjukan indikator intonasi (lentong) dari pra siklus (60%) menjadi (88,5%) terjadi peningkatan (28,5%), vokal dari pra siklus (61%) menjadi (88%) terjadi peningkatan (27%), Mimik (pasemon) dari prasiklus (64%) menjadi (82%) terjadi peningkatan (18%), penghayatandari prasiklus (64%) menjadi (85%) terjadi peningkatan (21%) dan nyangkem naskah dari pra siklus (65%) menjadi (86%) terjadi peningkatan (21%). Secara keseluruhan indikator membaca puisi (sajak)  pada aspek keterampilan menunjukan adanya peningkatan dari tiap tindakan prasiklus sampai siklus 2. Sedangkan pada aspek pengetahuan menunjukan bahwa indikator tema dari pra siklus (64%) menjadi (77%) terjadi peningkatan (23%), Amanat dari pra siklus (56%) menjadi (88%) terjadi peningkatan (32%), Rasa pra siklus (56%) menjadi (87%), terjadi peningkatan (18%), dan Nada pra siklus (60%) menjadi (86%) terjadi peningkatan (26%). Secara keseluruhan indikator materi puisi pada aspek pengetahuan menunjukan adanya peningkatan dari tiap tiap tindakan pra siklus sampai siklus 2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran discovery learning berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca puisi (sajak). Kata Kunci:  Kemampuan, Membaca Puisi (Sajak),  Model Pembelajaran                          Discovery Learning

Abstract

Integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into English language learning has garnered substantial attention and raised pertinent questions about its implications for the future of language education. This qualitative study with a systematic review design probes into the complex relationship between AI and English learning, whether AI in English language learning constitutes a potential detriment to the educational process, and whether AI is a disaster or a boon for English learning. A total of 15 peer-reviewed articles published between 2019 to 2023 (indexed in Scopus, WoS, and Sinta) were analyzed through four steps (data extraction, quality assessment, data synthesis, and result interpretation) to ensure comprehensive coverage. The findings from this study revealed not only multifaceted insights into the relationship between AI and English language learning, such as personalized learning, increased interactivity, and accessibility, but also its challenges, including privacy-related concerns, loss of human interactions, and reliability issues. This present study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of the role of AI in English language learning, offering educators, researchers, and policy-makers valuable insights into the benefits and potential pitfalls of integrating AI technologies in language education. Moreover, this present study provides a details exploration of the AI-English learning paradigm, emphasizing the need for a holistic perspective that leverages AIs strengths while safeguarding the integrity and vitality of the English language learning experience. Furthermore, this study offers recommendations for future research endeavors, emphasizing the need for ongoing evaluation and refinement of AI-based English learning strategies.
