Abstract

Computer program as results work intellectual has become element important in the digital era. Constitution Number 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright was introduced as response to development technology and needs for strengthen system protection right creation in Indonesia. The research method used in Study This is study law normative or legal research. Research law normative own focus main in analysis document law, including laws, regulations, and theories related laws​ with the Computer Program Copyright Act Number 28 of 2014 has give solid foundation​ in effort overcome computer program piracy. Law This covers various provision laws that protect creation of computer programs, among others give right exclusive to creator and prohibit duplication without permission. With give protection clear laws, regulations​ This can support and encourage climate better economy​ healthy in the sector technology especially computer programs.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence technology has brought significant transformations in the education sector, ranging from learning personalization, administrative automation, to data-based evaluation systems. However, the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education raises various juridical issues, especially related to personal data protection, content copyright, and legal responsibility in the event of losses due to the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). This article aims to analyze the legal framework that prevails in Indonesia in regulating the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the field of education, focusing on three main issues: data protection, copyright, and legal responsibility. The research method used is normative juridical research with legislative, conceptual, and comparative approaches. The results of the study show that existing regulations, such as Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (PDP Law), the Copyright Law, and the principle of civil liability, can be used as a legal basis to regulate Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education, although more specific regulations are still needed through derivative regulations and Artificial Intelligence ethics guidelines (AI). Thus, the urgency of establishing comprehensive regulations regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education is an urgent need in Indonesia.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital tidak hanya menuntut penguasaan bahasa Inggris dari sisi linguistik, tetapi juga menekankan pentingnya kesadaran terhadap keamanan, etika, serta tanggung jawab dalam berkomunikasi di ruang digital. Hal ini menjadikan integrasi pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dengan literasi digital sebagai kebutuhan strategis dalam dunia pendidikan abad ke-21. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk membekali siswa dengan keterampilan digital communication yang relevan, sekaligus meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap konsep online safety, cyber ethics, dan digital footprint melalui pelatihan partisipatif dan aplikatif. Program ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Adiluwih dan melibatkan 31 siswa kelas VIII dengan menggunakan pendekatan action research yang mengutamakan keterlibatan aktif peserta. Kegiatan meliputi penyampaian materi interaktif, latihan penulisan email berbahasa Inggris yang sopan dan sesuai etika digital, serta praktik pembuatan poster digital bertema “Internet Safety Rules.” Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam memahami dan menggunakan kosakata Bahasa Inggris yang berkaitan dengan dunia digital, kesadaran yang lebih tinggi terhadap risiko komunikasi daring, serta perubahan perilaku positif dalam menggunakan teknologi secara aman, etis, dan bertanggung jawab. Program ini sekaligus memperkuat keterampilan berpikir kritis, kolaboratif, dan kreatif siswa sebagai bagian dari kompetensi pembelajaran masa depan. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kemampuan literasi bahasa Inggris, tetapi juga membentuk karakter digital yang cerdas, etis, dan berdaya saing global.
