Abstract

Salah satu perkembangan terakhir dalam studi Injil Yohanes adalah munculnya diskusi tentang etika Yohanes. Etika Yohanes yang sebelumnya diabaikan kini telah mendapat perhatian para ahli. Perubahan radikal itu disebabkan terutama dengan terbitnya monografi berjudul Rethinking the Ethics of John tahun 2012. Konsep mimesis yang dipahami banyak ahli biblika sebagai salah satu pilar penting dalam konstruksi etika PB ditelaah keberadaannya dalam Injil Yohanes. Telaah itu telah dilakukan oleh Cornelis Bennema dengan meneliti konsep mimesis dalam Injil Yohanes. Penelitian Cornelis Bennema telah menghasilkan temuan bahwa konsep mimesis adalah pusat etika Yohanes. Sebagai lanjutan terhadap penelitian Cornelis Bennema, artikel ini melakukan kajian terhadap hubungan konsep mimesis dan teosis dalam Injil Yohanes. Artikel ini dengan menggunakan metode eksegesis teologis mengusulkan bahwa mimesis terkait erat dengan teosis.

Abstract

Penerapan metode penelitian puitis-afektif (poetic-affective criticism) terhadap Mazmur 7 menghasilkan pembacaan berbeda dengan penafsiran Mazmur 7 sebelumnya. Kebanyakan penafsir membaca Mazmur 7 sebagai mazmur permohonan ketika menghadapi tuduhan palsu. Pembacaan Mazmur 7 dengan menggunakan metode pembacaan penelitian puitis-afektif menghasilkan pesan tentang keadilan yakni kejahatan yang direncanakan menjadi hukuman terhadap perencananya.

Abstract

Across time, humanity has cried out for justice in the face of injustice. In Indonesia, justice is also affirmed as a fundamental pillar of national life in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution. Discussions of justice frequently turn to the book of Amos, yet they often concentrate primarily on social justice. This article reexamines justice in Amos through a dialogical reading of the book's literary context together with its historical, social, and religious contexts. The analysis argues that justice in Amos is multifaceted, encompassing distributive, retributive, restorative, theonomic, and mimetic dimensions. It further proposes that syncretism may be understood as a theological root of injustice because distorted relations with God are reflected in distorted human relations. Finally, the article brings Amos's vision of justice into dialogue with influential modern theories of justice in order to enrich contemporary reflection on the meaning and practice of justice.
