Abstract

Now Instagram is a popular social media platform that is popular and influential, especially among youth. Instagram contains less than two minutes of video content, photos, and caricature images and a series of words, wisdom, humor, even satire, all of which are often called memes. whether the idea or idea carried by a particular account is accepted, appreciated, or otherwise gets resistance from its followers. To find out, this requires observing their actions in response to certain content on a particular account. This article will discuss how Muslim youth in the country respond to ideas spread on Instagram. by looking at how they like and comment on content. The study uses a descriptive analysis approach. Three things the authors capture from this phenomenon. First, the discourse most favored by Muslim youth is the issue of romance. Second, thinking power is less critical especially when dealing with dogmatic content. Third, their attitude tends to be quiet when treated with commodified content. And it can be concluded that love issues are most in demand than religious issues and other issues.

Abstract

The increasing tendency among Muslim youth to delay marriage reflects a growing tension between the Qur’anic promise of divine sufficiency and the economic insecurity produced by contemporary neoliberal conditions. Existing studies tend to examine this issue either sociologically or exegetically, leaving limited attention to an integrated theological framework that addresses structural economic precarity. This study employs Fazlur Rahman’s Double Movement theory to reinterpret classical Qur’anic exegeses by reconstructing their original moral vision and contextualizing it within contemporary socioeconomic realities. The study finds that classical Islamic hermeneutics dissociate the legitimacy of marriage from material accumulation, emphasizing spiritual sufficiency and ethical responsibility over market-oriented financial standards. This article proposes a “responsive marital theology” that redefines qanāʿah (contentment) not as passive resignation, but as an active ethical framework for social resilience. By repositioning marriage as a collective social responsibility (farḍ kifāyah), the study offers a theological foundation for institutional and community-based interventions aimed at reducing structural barriers to marriage in contemporary Muslim societies.

Abstract

This study explores the pedagogical architecture of food in the Qur’an through a thematic exegesis (tafsir maudhu‘i) of 55 selected verses. It argues that the Quranic discourse on food transcends simple dietary regulations, forming a systematic ‘alimentary circuit’ designed for moral and spiritual integrity. The research identifies four interconnected dimensions: the Ontological (food as a divine sign), the Normative (legal boundaries of halal-haram), the Axiological (ethics of restraint and social justice), and the Eschatological (consumption as a bridge to the afterlife). Central to this paradigm is the synthesis of Meccan and Medinan revelations. The Meccan phase establishes a theological buffer by anchoring consumption in Rububiyah (Divine Sovereignty), while the Medinan phase provides the legal framework. This study finds that modern consumption often suffers from a "pedagogical rupture," where formal halal labels are detached from their spiritual and ethical roots. By reintegrating these dimensions, the study reconstructs a holistic paradigm of "Sacred Sustenance," where consumption serves as a core vehicle for theological awareness and social equity. Ultimately, the synthesis of Meccan soul-formation and Medinan body-regulation offers a comprehensive framework to address spiritual regression in contemporary food practices.
