Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the improvement of service quality and commitment to the profession through strengthening Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), job satisfaction, and self-efficacy. Optimal service quality and commitment to the profession are key factors in improving organizational performance, especially in the public service and education sectors. OCB as an extra-role behavior carried out voluntarily by employees is expected to be a driving factor in improving service quality and commitment to the profession. In addition, high job satisfaction and strong self-efficacy also play an important role in strengthening OCB. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method on employees in the public service sector. The results of the study indicate that OCB, job satisfaction, and self-efficacy significantly contribute to improving service quality and commitment to the profession. The implications of this study are expected to provide insight for organizational management in developing performance improvement strategies by strengthening these factors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and conflict of interest on the work motivation of public elementary school teachers in Dramaga District, Bogor Regency, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed. The population consisted of 173 teachers, and a sample of 121 teachers was selected using the Slovin formula and proportionate random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics. The analytical techniques included descriptive statistics, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The findings reveal that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on teachers' work motivation (β = 0.262; t = 7.037; p < 0.05). Organizational culture also has a positive and significant effect (β = 0.399; t = 7.508; p < 0.05), while conflict of interest has a negative and significant effect on teachers' work motivation (β = -0.170; t = -3.810; p < 0.05). Simultaneously, the three independent variables significantly influence teachers' work motivation (F = 74.182; p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.656) indicates that 65.6% of the variance in teachers' work motivation is explained by the three variables, while the remaining 34.4% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. Organizational culture was found to be the most dominant factor affecting teachers' work motivation. Therefore, strengthening organizational culture, implementing effective transformational leadership, and minimizing conflicts of interest are essential to improving teachers' work motivation.
