Abstract

The title of this research is The Representation L'Oreal in the Advertising of the Language of the French and the Language of the Indonesian (a Coomparative Lesson) which examines the process of the sign and the representation of meaning in the Advertising of L'Oreal which is the Language of the French and the Language of the Indonesian. The purpose of the research is to explain how the trial of the sign in advertising L'Oreal which is the Language of the French and the Language of the Indonesian and to know the representation of the meaning that is in the advertising of L 'Oreal which is the Language of the French and the Language of the Indonesian being based on the trial of the sign. The theory that is used in this research is the theory of semiotics by Charles Sanders Peirce who deviating from the reference to identify the process of the sign and the theory of representation to explain the meaning of the sign that is found in the advertisement that is analyzed. The data that is used comes from the website. The type of advertising that is analyzed as sampo, revitalift and hair color. The result of the analysis of this research shows that the sign in the advertisement is based on icon, india and symbol and the transmission of meaning in advertising can be passed by the representation being based on the text, Image and color in advertising. Latar BelakangDi zaman globalisasi ini media massa sudah menjadi kebutuhan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, baik itu media cetak maupun media elektronik. Ini dikarenakan kebutuhan masyarakat yang selalu ingin memperoleh ataupun mengetahui informasi terbaru dari berbagai aspek kehidupan, salah satunya melalui media Iklan.Iklan merupakan salah satu media yang pada dasarnya mempromosikan suatu produk dengan menggunakan bahasa atau gambar sebagai unsur yang membangunnya. Abstract

Judul skripsi ini adalah penemuan jati diri Josee dalam novel Les Merveilleux Nuages dan UnProfil Perdu karya Francoise Sagan. Tujuan pembahasan skripsi ini ialah untuk menganalisispenemuan jati diri tokoh utama dalam dua novel karya Francoise Sagan. Pendekatan yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan struktural. Teori- teori yang digunakan untukmenunjang pendekatan struktural dalam penelitian ini adalah teori penokohan dari Minderopagar dapat melihat karakter tokoh Josee, dan teori konflik dari Meyer mengenai konflik agardapat melihat konflik eksternal dan internal yang sering dihadapi tokoh Josee sehingga iamenemukan jati dirinya.Setelah melakukan penelitian, seluruh aspek yang dibahas dalam skripsiini menunjukan Josee dapat menemukan jati dirinya dalam novel Les Merveilleux Nuages danUn Profil Perdu, karya Francoise Sagan.Kata Kunci: jati diri, karakter, konflik, struktural

Abstract

This paper entitled "Structur actantial and functional analysis in the Voyage au center de la terre of awork of Jules Verne" which is one part of the thesis of the same title. The work of Verne is a sciencefiction novel that tells about the journey of a geologist Professor Lidenbrock with his nephew, Axel and ahunter whose they hired, Hans Bjelke, to look for the center of the earth. In this study, the selected theoryis from a structuralism of Algidras Julien Greimas which used as a theoretical basis.A.J.Greimas use actantial structural analysis and functional as the basic concept of his working steps.According to Greimas, actant is the smallest unit of narrative in the literary. Actants and personages arenot same; an actant may not manifest as a personage, but an abstract concept, a figure not lifeless,heirloom weapons or the like. In actantial structure, there are some buildings elements such as subject,object, sender, recipient, opponents, and helpers. Meanwhile, the functional structure is the simplificationof the functions in the story. Those functions comprised the initial situation, transformation, and the finalsituation. Transformation is divided into three stages, namely the proficiency test phase, the main phase,and the phase of glories. From actantial structure which arranged well, can then be determined a theme ofthis work.The results of the analysis, obtained five actantial structural and functional patterns. The five kinds ofpatterns starts from Prof. Lidenbrock began his journey looking for the center of the earth, until find thecenter of the earth; one of the patterns actantial structure and its functional is presented in this paper. Abstract

This paper discusses alternative solutions provided in tourism development in Toraja, after the monetary crisis since 1998, which has adversely affected tourism in Toraja, which is marked by a decrease in the number of foreign tourist arrivals.Based on the results of research that has been done in 2016, drawn the conclusion is the root of the problem against the tourism business in Toraja is the lack of variation of tourist attraction, which during this time, tourism is always a mainstay is the tradition culture: Rambusolo and traditional house "Tongkonan". Based on the results of interviews with respondents (foreign tourists who visit Toraja), found a solution that is the need for a variant of tourism objects that support Toraja main tourist attraction. Potential variation of objects to be developed in Toraja is agro-tourism, where Toraja already owns agricultural land, for example coffee plantations, cloves, cocoa that have not been cultivated as tourist attraction.One of the solutions done for the development of agro-tourism in Toraja, especially to tourism stakeholders provides French-speaking skills in the field of agrotourism in the form of training. One of the reasons for this activity is that the majority of foreign tourists visiting Toraja are from Europe who use French as the language of communication. The results of these activities resulted in three competencies: the knowledge of French in the field of agrotourism, the French language skills in agrotourism and the attitude that has a sense of responsibility in providing services to foreign tourists through the use of French Key words: agrotourism, tourist, coffee, tradition culture,  Toraja, Tongkonan

Abstract

This article is the result of a study on "French Language Guide in Tana Toraja". This study aims to analyze the mistakes made by tour guides in Tana Toraja in French. The subjects in this study were 3 French-speaking tour guides, and the object in this study was a mistake in French. This study uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis methods with a theory approach to analyzing language errors in the Tarigan model that divides language errors into misformation, omission, addition, and misorder which will then be searched for factors causing language errors by tour guides in Tana Toraja. After conducting research, the results of the analysis show that all tour guides make mistakes in French, and the most dominant tour guide makes mistakes is the tour guide 1. The error is caused by performance factors such as experience and communication goals and competency factors, namely education.
