Abstract

The introduction of basic computer media for early childhood is very important because it is one of the skills that children need in this century. Need to support parents and teachers in developing the implementation of the use of computer technology at home or at school. This study aims to determine and understand the state of learning conducted based on technology. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study model. This study involved 15 children and 5 parents. Data obtained through interviews (children and parents) and questionnaires for parents. The results showed that children who were introduced to and taught basic computers earlier became more skilled in learning activities. Suggestions for further research to be more in-depth both qualitatively and quantitatively explore the use of the latest technology to prepare future generations who have 21st century skills. Abstract

Media pembelajaran serbaneka di sekolah-sekolah di setiap daerah di Indonesia tentu dapat terpenuhi jika daerah-daerah tersebut dengan kota, atau terletak di ibukota provinsi, hal ini menjadi kendala tersendiri bagi sekolah-sekolah yang ada di pelosok atau masuk kategori 3T (Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kriteria kelengkapan media pembelajaran serbaneka di sekolah dan upaya yang harus dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah dalam melengkapi media pembelajaran serbaneka di sekolah. Tipe peneltian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif yakni suatu bentuk penelitian yang ditujukan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena-fenomena yang ada, berupa bentuk, aktivitas, karakteristik, perubahan, hubungan, kesamaan, dan perbedaan antara fenomena yang satu dengan fenomena lainnya. Fenomena tersebut kemudian disajikan secara apa adanya dan diuraikan secara jelas dan gamblang tanpa manipulasi, hasil penelitian kemudian dilakukan proses pengolahan data menjadi suatu informasi baru, agar karakteristik data tersebut menjadi lebih mudah dimengerti dan berguna dalam mencari solusi permasalahan dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kriteria kelengkapan media pembelajaran serbaneka di sekolah adalah dengan adanya ketersediaan papan dan display, media tiga dimensi, media teknik dramatisasi, adanya akses ke sumber belajar pada masyarakat, serta adanya media belajar terprogram (media yang tidak memerlukan keahlian khusus misalnya, media yang memerlukan keahlian khusus misalnya, dan media yang tidak bergantung kehadiran guru misalnya). Adapun upaya yang harus dilakukan oleh pemerintah daerah dalam melengkapi media pembelajaran serbaneka di sekolah adalah pemerintah daerah dapat berkolaborasi dengan pemerintah pusat dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang dapat diakses masyarakat, media pembelajaran (serbaneka) yang lengkap guna menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran, serta pemerataan kualitas Pendidikan di setiap wilayah yang ada di Indonesia, tentunya dengan lebih memberikan perhatian terhadap wilayah 3T sehingga 62 daerah (kabupaten) dapat merasakan akses yang sama di sektor Pendidikan, khususnya sasaran dana operasional sekolah harus tepat digunakan untuk memenuhi sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran dalam menunjang kegiatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum in enhancing the quality culture at FKIP Universitas Kutaikartanegara Tenggarong, East Kalimantan. The primary objective is to assess how the implementation of this curriculum impacts teaching practices, student engagement, and overall educational quality. A qualitative research method was employed, involving interviews with faculty members, administrative staff, and students, coupled with observations and document analysis. Data were analyzed to identify supporting and inhibiting factors influencing the development of a quality culture under the new curriculum framework. The findings reveal that the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum has significantly improved the quality culture at FKIP Universitas Kutaikartanegara. The curriculum's flexibility has facilitated the adoption of diverse and innovative teaching methods, leading to enhanced teaching effectiveness and greater student engagement. Faculty members reported increased adaptability in their instructional approaches, while students experienced more interactive and relevant learning experiences. Additionally, the curriculum has fostered greater student autonomy and responsibility, contributing to improved academic performance and motivation. However, challenges such as administrative adjustments and resistance to change among some staff have been identified as barriers. Addressing these issues is crucial for sustaining and further enhancing the positive impact of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum on the institution's quality culture.
