Abstract

This study analyzed the relationship between the utilization of the Indonesian Ministry of Health’s Maternal and Child Health Handbook and the quantity and quality of antenatal care to maternal emergency levels. This study applied mixed methods with a consecutive sampling technique and included 108 mothers undergoing maternal emergencies at a central general hospital (quantitative) and eight mothers, seven midwives, and five cadres at primary health cares (qualitative) as informants. Abstract

Nyeri punggung bawah sering dialami ibu hamil, terutama pada trimester III. Sekitar sepertiga dari ibu hamil yang mengalami nyeri punggung bawah mengalami nyeri yang hebat dan sering, sehingga membatasi kemampuan untuk bekerja secara efektif. Penanganan nonfarmakologi seperti kompres air hangat dapat menjadi alternatif untuk mengurangi nyeri tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kompres air hangat terhadap penurunan intensitas nyeri punggung bawah pada ibu hamil trimester III di Puskesmas Payung Sekaki, Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain one group pretest-posttest dan Teknik pengambilan sampel non-probability sampling sebanyak 16 ibu hamil trimester III di Puskesmas Payung Sekaki. Penlianan intensitas nyeri dengan skala Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil menunjukkan sebelum intervensi, sebagian besar mengalami nyeri sedang (62,5%). Setelah intervensi, mayoritas mengalami nyeri ringan (75%) dan sebagian tidak nyeri (18,8%). Uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan p = 0,000 (< 0,05), yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Kompres air hangat dapat mengurangi nyeri dengan cara meningkatkan aliran darah ke area yang terkena nyeri, sehingga mengurangi ketegangan otot dan melepaskan spasme otot. Panas dari air hangat juga dapat menghambat transmisi nyeri ke otak, sehingga kompres air hangat efektif menurunkan intensitas nyeri punggung bawah pada ibu hamil trimester III.

Abstract

Abstract : Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) is an integral part of health and family planning programs in Indonesia. Adolescents are one of the targets in reproductive health. Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood, during which many changes occur, both physical and psychological. Reproductive health is a condition where adolescents are socially, physically and spiritually healthy in relation to the reproductive system, reproductive function and reproductive roles of adolescents. The aim of this community service is to increase the knowledge of MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru students. Community service activities in the form of health education using power point media can be used to increase knowledge. Through this activity, it is recommended that reproductive health information continue to be conveyed to female students. This activity ran smoothly and the activity participants participated seriously and enthusiastically.
