Abstract

Building religious moderation can be done in various ways, one of which is using local wisdom values. Local wisdom values can be implemented in learning in madrasas. This research was conducted at MTs Mambaul Ulum Bata-bata 1 to analyze local wisdom values used in building religious moderation, and efforts to build religious moderation using Madurese local wisdom values. A qualitative method with an exploratory descriptive design was used in this study. The informants of this research were teachers and students of MTs Mambaul Ulum Bata-bata 1 who were selected purposively. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Source and time triangulation is used to see the validity of the data. The results of the study show that (1) the local wisdom values used to build religious moderation are the Pesantren tradition and the Toron tradition. (2) Efforts to build religious moderation are carried out by using the local wisdom of the pesantren, the culture of the madrasah, the exemplary clerics and teachers, compiling learning tools, and incorporating local wisdom values as PPKn subject matter. This research implies that religious moderation can be built with local wisdom values. This entire article can be used as a reference for further research by identifying exemplary forms and the application of religious moderation values by students in the community.

Abstract

The decline in student character requires an optimal solution. Strengthening the character of students is carried out in various ways, one of which is the independent curriculum innovation and 5PPRA. Madrasas try to instill various good characters that can become provisions for life in the future. This research aims to analyze the implementation of P5PPRA, the effectiveness of implementing P5PPRA, and the obstacles and solutions in the process of strengthening character with P5PPRA. This research is a critical literature review reviewing 25 articles from 2019 to 2024 and focuses on research progress regarding the independent curriculum and P5PPRA. The formulation and findings of this research are that the implementation of P5PPRA is carried out with maximum preparation and implementation, instilling character according to needs, and integration of intracurricular, extracurricular, and co-curricular, and innovative design. The effectiveness of implementing P5PPRA has succeeded in instilling religious and social character, increasing creativity and learning outcomes. Barriers to implementing P5PPRA include a lack of teacher and madrasah readiness, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and equitable distribution of education. The implications of this research show that innovation in strengthening character with P5PPRA must be accompanied by teacher and madrasah readiness and completeness of infrastructure. Full involvement in the three main points of character education, namely between family, school, and community, is recommended as a real effort to instill character values in the nation's future generations.

Abstract

Inclusive and sustainable economic development is carried out to strengthen the economy of a region by maximizing its potential and still paying attention to the long-term sustainability of life. The same efforts are being made in island areas to maximize regional wealth with the aim of increasing the economic welfare of the community. This research aims to analyze the dimensions of inclusive and sustainable economic development, obstacles and opportunities for inclusive and sustainable economic development. This research is a critical literature review  by reviewing 33 articles from 2017 to 2024, and focuses on progress research on inclusive and sustainable economic development. The findings, the focus on inclusive and sustainable economic development is carried out with good and direct coordination between the government and the community, designing green economic and blue economic development, improving infrastructure and maintaining the quality of natural resources in the archipelagic region. The obstacles experienced include the readiness and quality of the community, inadequate infrastructure, lack of coordination between the government and the community, as well as poor regulations and implementation. Opportunities that were successfully analyzed were in the form of utilization of natural resource potential, an economy based on green economy and blue economy, collaboration between government and society. Full involvement from the government and good cooperation with community members and MSMEs (creative community groups) is recommended as one of the efforts to encourage inclusive and sustainable economic development in various islands and is also recommended for plans for inclusive and sustainable economic development programs.

Abstract

Integrity is one of the pillars of the ministry of religion. Integrity must be built in every institution, one of which is in educational institutions. In addition to the integrity of the teacher, it is important to see how students grow with strong integrity to realize effective learning. This study aims to analyze the development of integrity and honest character in students at MAN 2 Pamekasan. The research method used in this research is qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by observing and interviewing teachers and students at MAN 2 Pamekasan. The results of the study show that integrity and honest character in students are built by implementation in learning (set out in lesson plans and habits), extracurriculars (Scouts, Nature Lovers, and Youth Red Cross), and exemplary (teachers, principals, and educators). The implication of this research is that the integrity and honest character of students must be built to create an institution with integrity.   Integritas merupakan salah satu pilar kementerian agama. Integritas harus dibangun dalam setiap lembaga, salah satunya dalam lembaga pendidikan. Selain integritas dari guru, penting untuk melihat bagaimana peserta didik tumbuh dalam integritas yang kuat untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran yang efektif. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pembangunan integritas dan karakter jujur pada peserta didik di MAN 2 Pamekasan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara kepada guru dan peserta didik di MAN 2 Pamekasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integritas dan karakter jujur pada peserta didik dibangun dengan implementasi dalam pembelajaran (tertuang dalam RPP dan pembiasaan), ekstrakurikuler (Pramuka, Pecinta Alam, dan Palang Merah Remaja), dan keteladanan (guru, kepala sekolah, dan tenaga pendidik). Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu integritas dan karakter jujur peserta didik harus dibangun untuk mewujudkan lembaga yang berintegritas.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the management and efficiency of the administration of New Student Admissions (PPDB) using a digital system at SDQ Utrujah. The importance of optimizing the digital system in improving the management and efficiency of the quality of administrative services in basic education is the background of this study. A descriptive qualitative approach is used as a research method. Data collection techniques through semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation using source triangulation. The results obtained show that the digital system implemented at SDQ simplifies and accelerates administrative activities in New Student Admissions, thereby reducing physical documents and data transparency. This digitalization system also makes it easier for parents of students to access registration forms and technical guides for activities. The obstacles faced are given individual direction and guidance to be more appropriate. It can be concluded that the digital system in the administration of New Student Admissions at SDQ Utrujah has a very positive impact on the management and efficiency of administration in educational services at the school.

Abstract

City branding is carried out to develop cities, attract tourism, introduce the city's wealth, and improve the community's quality of life. Various ways are done to show the uniqueness and distinctiveness that is owned. Some city branding efforts are seasonal, in vain, fail, and must be clarified for the public. This study aims to analyze the dimensions of city branding, strategies to build city branding, and obstacles and solutions in building city branding. This research is a critical literature review reviewing 35 articles from 2017 to 2023 and focusing on the progress of research on city branding. The formulation and findings of this study are the dimensions of city branding, namely tourist attraction, security and public services, and public policy and government coordination with the community. The city branding strategy can be carried out in five ways: introducing cultural diversity, culinary diversity, natural wealth, improving public services and security, and promoting and building a mascot. The obstacles to city branding are the need for coordination between the government and the community, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and unclear concepts related to the city branding used. The implications of this research indicate that city branding efforts must be integrated between government policies and community participation. Full involvement of the government and good cooperation with community members and Small and Medium Enterprise (creative community groups) is recommended to be one of the efforts to build city branding in various cities and is also recommended for city branding program plans.
