Abstract

Abstract Rumah Gerat Village is one of the villages in Biru-Biru District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatera. The dominance of the people in this village work as goldfish breeders. However, a serious problem is precisely found in conducting goldfish farming in this village. The low education about goldfish cultivation, the price goldfish feed, and the community's economy which is still lacking a major obstacle. Therefore, the aim of the Community Partnership Program activity is the Development of Fisheries in the Rumah Gerat Village. The method used in implementing this program is carried out through three stages. In the first stage, the service team conducted a socialization of fish culture to the farmer groups. The next step is to provide a goldfish pellet molding machine and ingredients for making fish pellets. Then, the team guided the fish farmer groups in using the machine and made goldfish pellets directly by mixing various types of fish pellet materials. In the final stage, the team handed over 4000 goldfish to be distributed to the ponds. From the results of the activity, it can be concluded that there is an increase in knowledge of farmer groups about goldfish cultivation, improvement of the skills of farmer groups in making goldfish pellet feeds by using the machine and help of farmer groups in starting aquaculture activities with the assistance of providing goldfish seeds. Keywords: Aquaculture, Feed, Seedlings, Carp Abstrak Desa Rumah Gerat merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Kecamatan Biru-Biru, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Dominasi masyarakat yang tinggal di desa ini mempunyai mata pencaharian sebagai peternak ikan mas. Akan tetapi, permasalahan serius justru ditemukan dalam melakukan budidaya ikan mas. Rendahnya pendidikan masyarakat akan budidaya ikan mas, harga pakan yang mahal, serta ekonomi masyarakat yang masih kurang menjadi kendala utama. Oleh karena itu, tujuan kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat adalah Pengembangan Perikanan di Desa Rumah Gerat. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan program dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan. Pada tahap pertama, melakukan sosialisasi budidaya ikan kepada kelompok tani. Tahap selanjutnya adalah memberikan mesin pencetak pelet ikan dan bahan-bahan pembuatan pelet ikan. Kemudian, memandu kelompok tani ikan dalam menggunakan mesin pencetak pelet dan membuat langsung pelet ikan mas dengan mencampurkan berbagai jenis bahan pembuatan pelet ikan sesuai dengan takarannya. Tahap terakhir, tim pengabdian menyerahkan 4000 ekor bibit ikan mas untuk disebarkan di kolam yang menjadi area kegiatan. Dari hasil kegiatan dapat disimpulkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan kelompok tani akan budidaya ikan mas, peningkatan keterampilan kelompok tani dalam membuat pakan pelet ikan mas dengan menggunakan mesin pencetak pelet dan terbantunya kelompok tani dalam memulai kegiatan budidaya dengan adanya bantuan pemberian bibit-bibit ikan mas. Abstract

This research aims to analyze Cointegration and Causality among ASEAN Road Infrastructure, ASEAN Total Trade in Goods and Rate of GDP Growth, using time series data, that is yearly data during the time period 2007 to 2015. The method used to test cointegration is Johansen’s Multivariate Cointegration Test dan the method used to test the causality is Granger’s Causality. The result of cointegration test revealed that there are a long run relationship between ASEAN Road Infrastructure, ASEAN Total Trade in Goods and Rate of GDP Growth in each member country of ASEAN. While the results of the Granger Causality test found there is a two-way relationship (mutual causality) between ASEAN Total Trade in Goods and Rate of GDP Growth in each member country of ASEAN. But, there is one-way relationship between ASEAN Road Infrastructure and ASEAN Total Trade in Goods and Rate of GDP Growth in each member country of ASEAN, which ASEAN Road Infrastructure gives effect to ASEAN Total Trade in Goods and Rate of GDP Growth

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to discover: (1) the differences of problem solving ability enhancement between students taught by applying realistic mathematical learning approach and Inquiry approach, (2) the interaction between learning approach (PMR and Inquiry) with the capability of beginning math students towards students’ problem solving ability enhancement, (3) the troubleshooting process of students’ problem solving between students taught by applying realistic mathematical learning approach and Inquiry approach. This study is a quasi experiment research. The population of this study consist of all students in grade VIII SMP Negeri 2 Tanjung Morawa. The sample of this study was 2 classes consist of 66 sudents taken by using cluster random sampling technique. The data was analyzed by using anova two lanes. It is found that (1) there is a difference of students problem solving enhancement between students taught by applying realistic mathematical learning approach and Inquiry approach, (2) there is an interaction between learning approach (PMR and Inquiry) with the capability of beginning math  students  towards  students’  problem  solving ability  enhancement, (3) a description discussion about the troubleshooting process of students problem solving students taught by applying realistic mathematical learning approach and Inquiry approach.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the accounting information responsibility system as a helping tool in the assessment of management performance in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan and to know wheter it has been useful for as a helping tool of management in the assessment of performance of cost center in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan. This research uses qualitative and secondary data. Qualitative data in question is the data in explanation form or description obtained from the quality of the object under study, while secondary data is a data obtained in the form that has been formed of Analysis of Work Plan Company Budget (RKAP) compare with the realization for 2013. This research is in the form of descriptive and deductive method. This method is done by collecting budget data and budget realization production which is then classified, interpreted, and analyzed to obtain an overview of the problems encountered in the object of research. While the deductive method is done by analyzing the data obtained and the object research by comparing the conceptual applicable general, so that can be drawn conclusions and given suggestions based on the research results. Based on the results of the study, the conclusion that Information Accounting Responsibility System as a helping tool of management in assessing the performance of the cost center in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan has shown its role formly and has been useful as a helping tool in the assessment of management performance cost

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes through guided discovery learning. The research approach used is qualitative Classroom Action Research. The research was carried out with the following steps: conducting problem analysis, literature study, research implementation, data analysis, conclusions and reporting. The subjects of this study were one class of accounting study program students totaling 33. The results of the study showed that by using guided discovery learning, the number of students who obtained a minimum passing grade in the second cycle increased compared to the number of students who obtained a minimum passing grade in the first cycle. The increase in the number of students who obtained grades above the set value, which is 75, was 27% or 9 students. The research findings did not show a significant increase in student learning outcomes, but based on observations by observers and researchers, students showed a good response and collaborative attitude in group activities in the implementation of guided discovery learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an increase in students' mathematical problem solving abilities with the application of the cooperative model of the generative learning type. The type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method and the design used is pre-experimental. The research sample was students of SMP swasta Bina Sejahtera. Based on the results of the t-test, the t count value = 2.467 and the t-table value = 2.04227 with an α value = 0.05. Then the t count > t table is obtained, namely 2.467> 2.04227, so H0 is rejected. This means that the application of the generative learning model is effective based on the average posttest value of students' mathematical problem solving abilities in social arithmetic material.

Abstract

In its implementation of the Merdeka curriculum to improve students' literacy and numeracy skills. The aim of this research is to determine the needs for mathematics teaching materials for class VIII SMP students in accordance with the independent curriculum. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects in this research were 30 students in class VIII of SMP N 2 Tanjung Morawa and 2 class VIII mathematics teachers. The sample in this research was obtained using purpose sampling technique. Data collection techniques include interview techniques and questionnaires. The data obtained was then analyzed. The data from the interviews is that students are not yet active in learning, there are limited mathematics teaching materials, the teaching materials used do not support the discovery of mathematical concepts, students are not yet able to understand abstract things in mathematics. The data from the student questionnaire are the learning sources used by students, including the internet 21.20%, textbooks from the government 71.27%, and textbooks from other sources 7.53%. Meanwhile, the questionnaire data on the need for teaching materials desired by students is 11.78% textbooks, 67.58% modules, 7.35% handouts, and 13.29% LKPD. The research results show that mathematics teaching materials are still very limited, students need teaching materials that are easy to understand and can be used independently. Based on the research results, it was concluded that it is necessary to develop realistic-based mathematics module teaching materials, with realistic-based mathematics module teaching materials that can guide students in discovering knowledge independently by relating the material to everyday life.
