Abstract

The university's development should not overlook the valuable indigenous knowledge inherited within the local community. Local wisdom comprises the customs and practices that have evolved among particular individuals, rooted in their deep understanding of the local environment accumulated over generations of inhabiting the area. Therefore, when expanding UIN Sunan Kalijaga in the Pajangan region, it is crucial to consider these aspects. This study aims to identify and document the local wisdom present in the Guwosari area, emphasizing its importance for preservation during the development process of Campus II UIN Sunan Kalijaga. A qualitative research method was employed due to the natural setting in which the study was conducted. The findings reveal several enduring legacies of local wisdom, such as the Selarong caves, untouched forests, and the landscapes and waters passed down through the ages. These legacies must be safeguarded and conserved, with development initiatives giving due attention to their protection.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze the effect of halal logistics attributes and service quality on halal logistics adoption intention, by considering the mediating role of emotional value and functional value. An explanatory quantitative approach is used through the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method, with data obtained from 200 respondents who have used halal logistics services in Indonesia in the last six months. The results show that service quality has a significant effect on emotional value (β = 0.655; p < 0.001) and functional value (β = 0.458; p < 0.001). Halal logistics attributes also have a significant influence on emotional value (β = 0.168; p = 0.001), but not directly on adoption intention. Emotional value (β = 0.378; p < 0.001) and functional value (β = 0.461; p < 0.001) proved to be important mediators that bridge the influence of exogenous variables on halal logistics adoption intention. Overall, the model has an R² value of 0.422 for the adoption intention variable, indicating that the model is able to explain 42.2% of the variability in adoption intention. These results underscore the crucial role of perceived emotional and functional value in influencing consumers' decision to adopt halal logistics services. Keywords: halal logistics, service quality, emotional value, functional value, adoption intention, SEM-PLS

Abstract

The success of a construction project can be evaluated by its benefits. In 2022, UINSunan Kalijaga received support from the Sovereign Sharia Securities (Surat BerhargaSyariah Negara/SBSN) 2022 for the construction of the Integrated Academic Building(Gedung Kuliah Terpadu/GKT). This research aims to assess the extent of the benefitsof the GKT for academic services at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. A qualitative research methodwas employed for this study due to its naturalistic approach. The research findingsreveal that 75.58% of respondents strongly agree, and 54.21% agree that the GKTsupports academic development at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. These results indicate that theconstruction of the GKT, with its comprehensive facilities, provides significant benefitsto the academic community.
