Where previously taken samples using Snowball Sampling and get respondents as many as 26 people,  headmaster, 1 teacher and 24 students. While data collection techniques used were non-test by using observation and interview guides. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Qualitative descriptive study was designed to collect information about the actual situations present while it lasted. The results obtained are Salafi doctrinal developments in the al-Imam ash-Shafi'i in Dumai very guided by the teachings salafi doctrine. Abstract

Problem-solving is a high-level mental process and requires a more complex thinking process. So special treatment is needed so that students can solve the problems given by the teacher. This study aims to explore problem-solving ability through students' communication skills in solving the flat building test. Data were collected through written tests on number pattern problems and interviews for anything unclear. The data were analyzed by the constant comparative method. The research was conducted on 30 students of Nurul Huda Junior High School in Malang. The result of the research is the stages of problem-solving through communication skills in solving math problems namely: understanding the problem, planning the solution, implementing the plan, and looking back. Our findings show that communication skills have an important role in the researcher's exploration of building students' problem-solving abilities. Students who are able to communicate well orally and in writing can solve problem-solving tests/questions and are interested in facing challenges and willingness to solve problems. The results and findings of this study can contribute knowledge to educators in building students' problem-solving abilities through their communication skills throughout problem-solving.

Abstract

The lack of explorative learning activities that actively involve students remains problematic in mathematics education. BPBL, as an extension of PBL model, is proposed as an alternative solution to optimize student engagement and learning experience. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of BPBL using the Moodle LMS in mathematics learning. This is a descriptive qualitative study involving 28 PGMI IAIN Bone students. Effectiveness criteria focus on potential effects related to student activities, with data gathered from observations, questionnaires, and interviews. Data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, including data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The major finding indicates that BPBL positively contributed on students’ activeness in both face-to-face and online learning. The students’ physical activeness in oral, writing, visual and motor activities were in high category. The finding also reveals other potential effects of product such as in emotional and mental activities. BPBL was considerably effective to stimulate students’ motivation, self-paced learning as well as facilitate interaction and learning collaboration.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of using the Heyzine application in teaching circular equations to 11th-grade students in senior high school. The research method employed the Four-D (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) development model developed by S. Thiagarajan, Dorothy Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel. Data collection involved documentation and questionnaires, while data analysis used a descriptive qualitative approach. The results showed that the e-module for mathematics instruction was deemed highly valid by experts and practitioners. The validity percentages of the e-module were as follows: 82.5% for subject matter experts with the criteria "very valid," 89% for media experts with the criteria "very valid," 85% for language experts with the criteria "very valid," and 82.75% for practitioners with the criteria "very valid." Thus, the overall validity averaged 84.81% with the criteria "very valid." The mathematics e-module on circular equations was also evaluated to meet usability aspects. Student responses to the e-module's usability across 13 assessment aspects averaged 87.53%, indicating that the e-module fulfilled usability requirements in practice. The use of the Heyzine application in teaching circular equations was proven effective, as there was an increase in student learning interest after using the module. The increase in student interest in learning mathematics reached 37.679%. Therefore, this e-module can be considered an effective alternative for improving the teaching of circular equations to 11th-grade students in senior high school. Keywords: E-Module, Heyzine

Abstract

Lack of interest in writing individually by students makes writing activity as one of the four language skills pay less attention to the students. Creating small Group Discussion is one method that can help students improve their learning achievement, especially in improving their writings. This research was intended to know the effectiveness of Small Group Discussion Technique on students’ achievement in writing report text at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Pematang Siantar. The populations of this research were 38 eleventh class students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Pematang Siantar. The samples of this research were taken from 38 students (XI IPA 1).). The students’ achievement was measured l the students’ writing through pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed by using SPSS program. The pretest result shows the means score is 60.13 with the highest score is 70 and the lowest score is 50, while the post test result shows the means score is 60.13 with the highest score is 70 and the lowest score is 50. As the T-Test result, the significant value of Small Group Discussion  is 0.000 <0.05. The different scores between the Pre Test and the Post Test, and the T-test results show that there are differences between scores before and after Small Group Discussion technique were applied to the students. That means there is the effectiveness of Small Group Discussion on student’s achievement in writing Report Text
