Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of organizational culture, work climate, and welfare facilities on job satisfaction and its implications for employee performance in PT. Langkat Nusantara Kepong. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is a survey. The sample was determined by a random sampling method of 226 people. Data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that partially, organizational culture, work climate and welfare facilities had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The highest influence value is the variable of organizational culture, meaning that organizational culture has a more dominant influence on employee job satisfaction, with a total effect of 36.40% (direct effect of 31.03%). Simultaneously, organizational culture, work climate and welfare facilities directly and indirectly have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Employee job satisfaction is an intervening variable of organizational culture, work climate and welfare facilities to employee performance, because there is an increase in the influence of organizational culture, work climate and welfare facilities on employee performance by 16.12% if through job satisfaction variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the differences and the effect of production on the income of plasma palm oil farmers who are independently managed and managed in the core of PT. Pinago Utama. This research method uses a quantitative approach, the type of research is a survey. The sample was determined by 60 stratified random sampling methods. Data were analyzed using the independent sample mean difference test and simple linear regression. The results showed that there was an insignificant difference in the production of oil palm smallholdings managed by nucleus and those managed independently by farmers. However, there are significant differences in farmers' incomes, production costs and the cost of production of plasma oil palm estates managed by the nucleus and those managed by farmers independently. The cost of production of the nucleus estate managed by the nucleus is Rp. 576.65 / kg 39.17% lower than smallholdings which are managed independently by farmers (Rp. 947.95 / kg). Changes in production obtained by farmers have a significant effect on changes in income, both for estates managed by the nucleus and those managed independently by farmers. Thus there is a difference in the effect of production on farmers' income by almost 50% (49.88%)

Abstract

The aims of study to identify and analyze the role of human resources (individual characteristics, quality, and employee competence) on the company's performance at Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional. This research using a quantitative approach with survey on the type of research. The sample was determined by simple random sampling method, 51 people. The data collection through questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results shows that simultaneously, the variable of individual characteristics, employee quality and employee competence have a positive and significantly effect to the performance at Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional. The determination coefficient value of 0.616 indicates that the influence of individual characteristics, employee quality and employee competence on the change of company performance at Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional is 61.6%. Partially, there are positive and significantly influence of employee quality and employee competence to company performance at Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional. While the variable of employee characteristic have a non significantly effect to company performance Indonesia Trading Company of Medan Regional.

Abstract

Paddy rice production needs to be improved because rice is the staple food of the community. Batu Bara Regency is one of the rice granaries in North Sumatra so it is very important to make various efforts to increase rice production. Among the factors that can increase rice production are the availability of subsidized fertilizer and the price of subsidized fertilizer according to the Highest Retail Price (HET).The main purpose of this study is to determine the effect of subsidized fertilizer availability and the price of subsidized fertilizer in accordance with the Highest Retail Price (HET) on paddy rice production in Batu Bara Regency. The research method is quantitative method with 100 respondents of rice farmers in Batu Bara Regency.Based on the results of the research, it is known that the availability and price of subsidized fertilizer simultaneously and partially have a significantly effect on the production of lowland rice in the Batubara Regency. The effect of variation in availability and price of subsidized fertilizer on rice production is 66.7%..The availability of subsidized fertilizer at Batubara Regency is 94.56%. Partially, the availability of subsidized fertilizer has a negative effect on the production of lowland rice in the Batubara Regency. The condition is caused by some farmers who get subsidized fertilizer more than needed. The price of subsidized fertilizer partially has a positive effect on paddy rice production, meaning that the price of subsidized fertilizer is still in the level of farmers' ability

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of employee satisfaction and work motivation on work ethic and its implications for the performance of implementing employees at the oil palm plantations and mills of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III. Subjects in this study were employees of PTPN III. The research objects were employee satisfaction, work motivation, work ethic and performance of PTPN III employees. The sample in this study were 310 employees. Data analysis uses path analysis which aims to determine the causal relationship, with the aim of explaining the direct effect and indirect effect of a set of variables, as a causal variable on other variables which are effect variables. The results showed that employee satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on the work ethic of the implementing employees by 15,1%. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the work ethic of the implementing employees by 74,8%. The effect of Job Satisfaction (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) on Work Ethics (Y) is 50,1%. Employee Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Implementing Employees by 6,7%. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Implementing Employees by 20,8%. Work Ethic has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance 76,7%. The influence of employee satisfaction, work motivation and work ethic on employee performance is 80.9%. The value of the direct effect of the employee satisfaction variable (x1) on the employee performance variable (z) is smaller than the influence of the employee satisfaction variable (x1) on the employee performance (z) through the work ethic (y), so it can be concluded that the work ethic variable (y) plays a role. as a full mediator because through the y variable, the x1 variable is able to significantly influence the z variable.
