The difference is based on the age difference of MIP students who are more mature than FISIPOL students so that their perceptions about sharing information are wiser, but the motivation of FISIPOL students is higher because sharing information is not only for formal matters but also for informal matters such as finding one's reputation and pursuing prizes. Conclusion: Digital natives' perception in sharing information on social media is sharing information because it is seen to be beneficial to other individuals, sharing information is fun and can invite others to jointly understand and discuss together the latest information. For digital natives motivation in sharing information on social media, intrinsically to meet self-satisfaction. Examples such as being able to add insight and can discuss with other individuals. Abstract

Purpose. This study aims to examine the preservation of ancient manuscripts in Indonesia through a systematic review of academic literature over the past decade. These manuscripts, which hold historical, cultural, and educational significance, face growing threats due to climate change, physical degradation, and limited public awareness. Methodology. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach, this study analysed 30 peer-reviewed articles published between 2010 and 2023. Articles were selected from open-access databases (Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Garuda) using specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. The PRISMA flow diagram guided the selection process, and thematic analysis was used to synthesize the findings. Results and discussion. Findings indicate that manuscript preservation in Indonesia follows two major approaches: physical conservation (e.g., fumigation, environmental control) and digital preservation (e.g., high-resolution scanning, metadata development). While digitalization enhances access and reduces handling-related damage, it is hindered by outdated file formats, limited infrastructure, lack of skilled personnel, and legal uncertainties. Community-based efforts, cultural values, and institutional collaborations (such as those in Rekso Pustaka and Ranggawarsita Museum) demonstrate practical and adaptive models for sustainable preservation. Conclusions. The study recommends integrating physical and digital methods in a balanced and context-sensitive strategy. It emphasizes the importance of strengthening institutional capacity, expanding professional training, encouraging local participation, and ensuring policy support to sustain long-term preservation efforts across diverse cultural settings.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the representation of librarian characters in anime according to Stuart Hall's model of representation. Information utilized within the current study is derived from the article "10 Most Iconic Anime Librarians," published on Gamerant.com, which provides the primary source from which ten of the most iconic librarian characters within anime are established. Utilizing a qualitative method facilitated through content analysis, the current study also employs data triangulation through cross-checking relevant anime episodes as well as scholarly journals. The results indicate that protagonists that depict librarians in anime are now being portrayed as multidimensional characters—knowledge guardians, intellectual freedom advocates, and social change agents. Protagonists such as Iku Kasahara and Hamyuts Meseta have high emotional depth and perform active roles that break the stereotypes for librarians. The depictions contribute to the reconfiguration of librarians' social image, especially among the youth. This research makes a significant contribution to media studies, information literacy, and library science by highlighting the significance of progressive and inclusive images in shaping public perceptions of the librarian profession.
