Abstract

This article aims to explain the construction of ecotheology from the perspective of contemporary interpreters based on comparison of contemporary interpretive texts. The creation of humans as caliphs on earth which has the meaning of being a substitute has experienced a shift in meaning in several contemporary interpretations. This theoretical study of environmental issues was studied using descriptive qualitative methods through interpretation results with plural dimensions. The data processing and analysis process is carried out using content analysis methods in thematic interpretation aspects related to environmental issues. A number of terms related to ecology in the Al-Qur'an show the relationship between human rights and environmental rights. Humans are ecologically part of the living environment, so the sustainability of human entities actually depends on environmental balance. The universe has a human right to be treated as well as possible as a life partner for humans to carry out their shared roles in serving God.

Abstract

This study explores the educational values in Surah Luqman from the perspective of Al-Maraghi's Tafsir, aiming to identify and analyze the relevance of these values in modern life. Employing a qualitative approach with a library research method, the study integrates an analysis of Quranic text, tafsir literature, and related educational resources. The findings reveal five key educational values in Surah Luqman: monotheism (tauhid), morality (akhlaq), social responsibility, worship (ibadah), and environmental awareness. Al-Maraghi's Tafsir emphasizes the practical application of these values in shaping individual character and society. These findings address contemporary challenges such as moral crises, individualism, and environmental degradation. This research contributes theoretically by highlighting the relevance of Quranic values in modern education and advocating for their integration into curricula. However, the study is limited to Al-Maraghi's perspective, suggesting opportunities for comparative analysis with other tafsir works.

Abstract

Meniru budaya atau tradisi milik bangsa lain merupakan buah dari adanya interaksi sosial antara dua entitas atau kultur yang berbeda. Persinggungan budaya semacam ini membuka peluang adanya keterpengaruhan suatu kelompok atas tradisi atau kebiasaan kelompok lain. Keterpengaruhan yang kemudian melahirkan peniruan-peniruan tradisi seperti yang telah dicontohkan sebelumnya. Dalam ranah kajian Islam, konsep seperti ini dinamakan dengan nama tasyabbuh. Tasyabuh merupakan hal yang dilarang dalam Islam. Sebagaimana yang terdapat dalam banyak hadis, bahwa Rasulullah melarang akan praktek tasyabbuh tersebut khususnya terhadap tradisi atau kebiasaan dari kaum Yahudi dan Nasrani. Dalam memaknai hadis-hadis tentang tasyabuh tersebut, terjadi perbedaan pendapat dikalang para ulama terkait boleh atau tidaknya tasyabuh khususnya meniru tradisi kaum Yahudi dan Nasrani. Melalui kajian matan dan sanad, bahwa hadis-hadis yang menjelaskan tentang larangan tasyabuh terhadap tradisi-tradisi kaum non-Muslim khususnya kaum Yahudi dan Nasrani merupakan bentuk perlindungan atas identitas ke-Islaman umat Muslim. Dalam hal ini, tasyabuh merupakan sebuah pelanggaran apabila bertentangan dengan akidah dan syariah, yaitu tidak menyinggung kaidah-kaidah normatif agama baik itu nash al-Qur ’an maupun al-Sunnah serta bukan bagian dari kebiasaan khusus kaum Yahudi dan Nasrani.
