Abstract

The study aims to analyze the Egyptian colloquial song “Bahebbak Yā Belādy” in the perspectives of hermeneutics and the internal structures of the language that consist of phonology, morphology, syntax, and semantics. It is a qualitative- descriptive study. The researchers collected data by conducting observation, interview and literature review. The results of the research show that: (1) there are phonemic elements found in the song, which are: changing pronunciation of some letters, prolonging a vowel, tilting, and transmitting specific phonemes, (2) there are morphological elements found in the song that include the forms of past tense, present tense, isim fa'il, and isim maf'ul. Moreover, (3) there are grammatical elements found in the song, which are: the arrangement of the nominative and verbal sentences, and two prefixes of the present tense verb, the uses of the subject, and (Ù….....Ø´) for the prohibition, (4) in the perspective of semantics, there are only lexical and metaphor meanings found in the song. Keywords: Internal Structures of the Language, Egyptian colloquial Song, Bahebbak Yā Belādy. تجريد البحث تهدف الدراسة إلى تحليل الغناء العامية تحت الموضوع "بحبك يا بلادي" من حيث هيرمينوتيكية و الهياكل الداخلية للغة التي تتكون من علم الأصوات و القواعد النحوية والصرفية و الدلالية. تعتبر هذه الدراسة نوعية- وصفية . تسلك الباحثة جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة و المقابلة والوثائق. و تدل على النتيجة التالية : (1) توجد عناصر علم الاصوات منها: تغيير نطق بعض الحروف وإطالة الحروف المتحركة والإمالة ونقل الصوت المحدد، (2) و توجد العناصر الصرفية التي تشتمل على صيغة الفعل الماضي والفعل المضارع واسم الفاعل واسم المفعول. علاوة على ذلك (3) توجد العناصر النحوية منها: ترتيب الجملة الإسمية والفعلية وبادئتان للفعل المضارع ، واستخدام اسم الفاعل أكثر وكذلك (م....ش) للنهي، (4) و من ناحية الدلالة يوجد المعنى الأصلي والقياسي

Abstract

This study aims to describe the common mistakes that occur in new students majoring in Arabic on the practice of speaking skills. This type of research is qualitative through a descriptive approach. Collecting data through the method of speaking, listening, and observing. The results of this study indicate that the forms of language errors that often occur are in 1) phonology, 2) morphology, and 3) syntactic. In the phonological aspect, there are replacements in the pronunciation of hijaiyah letters, additions in pronunciation, and omissions. In the morphological aspect, errors were found in the use of auzānul fi'il, tastniyah, and jama' muannast salim. In the syntactic aspect, errors were found in the use of dhamāir munfasilah and muttashilah, jar majrūr, tarkīb na'ti, tarkīb 'adadi, jumlah fi'liyah, and jumlah ismiyah. To face these previous problems, the teacher provided the treatments on the following forms: (1) Presenting the pronunciation of Arabic letters and the pronunciation of the vocabulary intact. (2) Introduce short expressions. (3) Presenting sentence patterns. (4) Providing short dialogues, and certainly all of these qualities are applied to these students gradually and continuously in the class in the form of two-by-two. In addition, all these treatments were presented by the teacher through podcasts and YouTube, the crazy method, the rhetorical method, and the problem-solving method

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran membaca teks Arab melalui kitab Adab Al-Thālibîn di kelas “H” Fakultas Syariah dan Hukum UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. Dosen mengalami kendala saat proses kegiatan belajar-mengajar di antaranya: tingkat perbedaan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam membaca, menerjemahkan, dan menjelaskan teks Arab. Hal tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh input yang berbeda, dan mayoritas mereka notabenenya lulusan sekolah umum dan belum mempelajari bahasa Arab dan tata bahasanya. Kajian ini tergolong deskriptif-kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data berupa observasi, interview, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah observasi secara terus-menerus dan mengkaji serta menganalisis secara cermat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran membaca teks Arab melalui metode eklektik mampu membantu mahasiswa dalam menerjemahkan dan memahami teks Arab dengan baik. Gambaran tersebut diperoleh melalui pengamatan penulis selama kegiatan belajar-mengajar berlangsung dalam bentuk penyajian presentasi dan diskusi oleh mahasiswa.

Abstract

Learning Arabic today cannot be separated from digital media. One digital platform in the form of audio that is close to the lives of millennials and has principles of efficiency in learning is Anchor.fm. a digital media in the form of audio streaming that is used by students in accessing learning materials and at the same time functions as an assignment portfolio. This article aims to describe the use of the Anchor.fm application. in Arabic learning activities and student perceptions in using the Anchor.fm application. This study is classified as qualitative-descriptive. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, documentation, and observation. The data analysis refers to Miles & Huberman, including; data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings obtained in this study include (1) Anchor.fm. is the main supporting medium for students to understand MSA (Modern Standard Arabic) material, for example; vocabulary pronunciation, reading narrative texts and dialogues, and understanding Arabic grammar. (2) Anchor.fm. as an efficient learning medium, from the aspect of time, effort, and cost. (3) Students are greatly helped by the existence of Anchor.fm. mainly those who come from public schools and are still beginner Arabic learners.
