This study discusses the Sim?'an Method of Santri in the tahf?zh Program of Modern Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to determine the characteristics, implications and supporting and inhibiting factors of the sim?'an method of students in the tahf?zh program of Modern Islamic Boarding School Datok Sulaiman Putra Palopo City. The type of research used in this study is qualitative. The results of this study show that 1) There are 3 characteristics of the sim?'an method of students, namely Sim?'an Mukammal, Sim?'an Tasmi and Tasyakuran Sim?'an sugro 30 juz. 2) The application of the sim?'an method has a positive impact on the memorization process, students can mur?ja'ah and increase the constancy of the students' memorization. 3) The existence of facilities is supported for sim?'an activities, there is an increase in the motivation and enthusiasm for reciting the students, maintaining the consistency of togetherness between students, improving the quality of the students' recitation of the Qur'an and becoming a place for mental training of students. Busyness in school learning activities or assignments, as well as the existence of memorized readings that are less than optimal and students are also still less focused when sim?'an has taken place to be an inhibiting factor

Era digitalisasi yang ditandai dengan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mendorong manusia bersifat konsumtif dan cenderung berlebihan. Perilaku berlebihan (al-isra>f) memiliki dampak yang sangat mengganggu keberlangsungan hidup beragama dan sosial umat manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui solusi perbuatan berlebihan (al-isra>f) yang kian tidak terbendung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tafsir al-Qur’an yaitu maud}u>i> (metode tematik). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa solusi al-Qur’an terhadap perilaku al-isra>f antara lain: (1) Berlebihan dalam hal akidah: meneladani keteguhan akidah s{a>lih}i>n dan memperbanyak ibadah, (2) Berlebihan dalam hal ibadah: memperkaya literasi keagamaan, mengatur keuangan dengan baik, dan tidak menuruti hawa nafsu, serta (3) Berlebihan dalam hal muamalah: menjaga pergaulan dan bersedekah. Kata Kunci: Al-isra>f, Perbuatan Berlebihan, Tafsir Tematik. Abstract The era of digitalization, marked by advancements in science and technology, has led to increased consumerism and tendencies towards excessiveness among individuals. Excessive behavior (al-isra>f) has profoundly disruptive effects on the religious and social lives of human beings. This research aims to explore solutions to the increasingly uncontrollable act of excessiveness (al-isra>f). The study employs the method of Quranic interpretation known as maud}u>i> (thematic method). The findings of this research indicate that the Quranic solutions to the behavior of al-isra>f include: (1) Excessiveness in matters of faith: Emulating the steadfastness of righteous individuals in their faith and increasing acts of worship (2) Excessiveness in matters of worship: Enhancing religious literacy, managing finances prudently, and not succumbing to one's desires, (3) Excessiveness in matters of interactions (muamalah): Maintaining good social relationships and engaging in acts of charity. The interpretation of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Unity in Diversity) has long been invoked in Indonesia’s religious, national, and cultural discourse. While normatively understood as a call for tolerance and harmony, it has rarely been examined critically through the lenses of Qur’anic exegesis and discourse analysis. This article investigates how the discourse of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika is constructed and deployed within religious texts and broader social narratives, highlighting its implications for power and ideology. Using Critical Discourse Analysis, the study explores how narratives of unity often function less as inclusive engagements with diversity and more as instruments for legitimizing the dominance of majority groups or state authorities. Such interpretations tend to suppress alternative perspectives, particularly those voiced by marginalized communities. The findings indicate that the discourse of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in tafsir is not neutral or universal but shaped by hegemonic interests and institutional frameworks that privilege uniformity over plurality. The study argues that religious interpretation must move toward a more critical and inclusive hermeneutics—one that not only affirms common values but also recognizes difference as an epistemic and spiritual resource. The broader implication is the necessity of opening tafsir studies to interdisciplinary approaches and dialogical engagement. By doing so, religious discourse can become more just, reflective, and liberating, contributing to a pluralistic public sphere that genuinely honors Indonesia’s foundational principle of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

Abstract: This research discusses the Analysis of Imam's Recitation Selection in Prayer at Muhammadiyah Mosque in Palopo City. This research aims to: 1) Identify the recitations commonly chosen by imams in prayer in Muhammadiyah-assisted mosques, 2) Analyzing the factors that influence the selection of prayer readings, 3) Investigating the diversity in the selection of imam readings in prayer in Muhammadiyah mosques in Palopo City. The type of research used in this study is qualitative research with case study method. From the results of the research on the Analysis of the Selection of Imam's Recitation in Prayer in Muhammadiyah Mosques in Palopo City, it shows that: 1. The imams of al-Khaeriyyah, al-Awwabin, and Nurul Ilmi mosques read short surahs at maghrib time, such as surahs, al-Nas, al-Falaq, al-Ikhlas, al-Kafirun, al-Nasr, al-Kautsar, al-Fil, Qurasy, al-'Asr, and al-Ma'un. While at Isha time the Imams read the medium surahs such as al-'Alaq, al-Zalzalah, al-Bayyinah, al-Duha', al-Qari'ah, al-Baqarah. While at Fajr the Imams read medium and long surahs such as, al-Ghasyiah, al- A'la, al-Bayyinah, al-Zalzalah, al-Adiyat, al-Nazi'at, al-Naba', al-Mulk, Yasin, al-Isra and al-Baqarah. 2. The factors that influence the reading are due to following the sunnah, meaning and content and looking at aspects of the condition of the congregation, 3. The imams of the Muhammadiyah-assisted mosque have readings that are not uniform.

pengulangan (al-Tikra>r) yang terdapat dalam surah al-Mursala>t dalam kitab tafsir khuluqun ‘azhim juz tabarak. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yang bersifat deskriptif-analisis, selain itu dari segi metode penelitian tafsir, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tafsir metode tahlili. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa dalam penafsiran M. Yunan Yusuf pengulangan pada ayat وَيْلٌ يَّوْمَىِٕذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِيْنَ terdapat tema tersendiri, mulai dari tema mengawali peristiwa Hari Kiamat, penciptaan manusia dan bumi, penghancuran jagat raya hingga pada azab dan gambaran keadaan manusia yang mendustakan. Adapun maksud dari pengulangan yang terjadi pada surah al-Mursala>t dalam penafsiran M. Yunan Yusuf dalam kitab khuluqun adzim adalah sebagai bentuk peringatan serta ancaman bagi orang-orang kafir agar tidak kufur dan tidak mendustakan adanya Hari Kiamat dan pengulangan ini tentunya sebagai ta’kid.
