Abstract

Leadership is an important element in achieving, maintaining and improving organizational performance. As the focus of this study, the researcher investigated the impact of motivation and perception of SMPN principals on the achievement of Adiwiyata schools in the Riau Islands. The research method used is a quantitative research approach with a field survey method. The population of this study was SMPN Pembinaan Adiwiyata schools in the Riau Islands which have the same level of accreditation and status as Adiwiyata. The research data were collected by distributing questionnaires that were tested for validity and reliability. The tool needed to reveal the variables is a questionnaire using a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that work motivation has a partial effect on manager perceptions. In addition, a significant partial effect was found between work motivation and manager perceptions. The conclusion of this study is that high staff work motivation determines the principal's perception and the success of Adiwiyata schools.

Abstract

The transition from the 2013 curriculum to the Merdeka curriculum affects all aspects of learning. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the differences in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education learning at State High School 1 Teluk Gelam and State High School 3 Kayu Agung Ogan Komering Ilir. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with the data sources being the school principal, deputy principal, Islamic religious education teacher who teaches class XI, and 60 class XI students who were used as key informants through observation, interviews, and documentation. Research findings from observations and interviews with data sources show that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum for Islamic Religious Education subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Gelam and SMA Negeri 3 Kayu Agung will both start in the 2021-2022 academic year. The difference in implementation is that SMA Negeri 1 Teluk Gelam uses a regular system, and SMA Negeri 3 Kayu Agung uses a block system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a valid and practical differentiated teaching module. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE model. The test subjects of this development product were students of class X IPA 1 SMAN 5 Maros with 36 participants. This research procedure consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The analysis stage is the initial analysis of students, curriculum analysis and analysis of student characteristics. The design stage is the needs design, material selection and teaching module design. The development stage is conducting validation. The implementation stage is implementing learning media. The evaluation stage is to make improvements to the teaching module so that it can be used. Research data obtained using validation questionnaires, and questionnaires of students' responses to development products by media experts are categorized as “valid” with a value of 3.44 and with material experts categorized as “valid” with a value of 3.36 and based on questionnaires of students' responses to teaching modules categorized as “practical” with an average response of 6.71%. So it can be concluded that the differentiated physics teaching module developed can be used in learning.
