Abstract

Abstract

Functional problems and appearance may emerge if careful therapy is not applied in orbital fracture caused by maxillofacial trauma. Recently, the focus of fracture management on fragment fixation most possibly uses anatomy approach. The management of blowout fracture should be overcome by involving several departments. First, identification was carried out in emergency room and then it is consulted to occuloplasty and maxillofacial trauma surgeon. Multidisciplinary management will provide better outcome to retrieve face structural function and improve the appearance. We reported two cases of blowout fracture complex in Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya, Indonesia, done by Plastic Reconstruction Division of ORL-HNS Department in collaboration with Plastic Reconstruction Division of Ophthalmology Department. In the first case, a 64-year-old female was consulted by Plastic Reconstruction Division of Ophthalmology Department with diagnosis of right orbital adnexal injury, open eye globe injury, scleral laceration, and blowout fracture. In the second case, a 37-year-old male came to Plastic Reconstruction Division of ORL HNS Department, consulted by Plastic Reconstruction of Ophthalmology Department with diagnosis of left cornea and scleral laceration,  left full thickness laceration palpebral at 1/3 nasal inferior, rupture of lacrimal canal, and  blowout fracture. These cases of blowout fracture with rim orbita fracture complex type were managed well by Plastic Reconstruction Division of ORL-HNS and Plastic Reconstruction Division of Ophthalmology Department. It is apparent that multidisciplinary management was required for optimum outcome.

Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer-based system used to store and manipulate geographic information. GIS is designed to collect, store, and analyze objects and phenomena in which geographical location is an important or critical characteristic to be analyzed. Regarding the location of Musollah (TPQ), the people of Kabupaten Situbondo do not know much about its distribution. So in need of a system to map Musollah (TPQ). This study focuses on Musollah mapping (TPQ) supported by information about Musollah (TPQ). This GIS build uses data collection methods by collecting data in the Musollah Section of the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office of Situbondo Regency with a sample of several Musollah (TPQ), Waterfall system development method and Data Flow Diagram (DFD) for its system design. The tool used to build the GIS is to use the Google Maps API as a base map to show Situbondo County area, PHP as a web programming language, and to use MySQL as its database. The output of this system is the dispersion map of Musollah (TPQ) in Situbondo based on its coordinate location with supporting information which includes the address of Musollah (TPQ), Caregiver, and the number of santri and the existing facilities in Musollah (TPQ).

Abstract

Data Mining is an important technique in business analysis to discover hidden patterns in transaction data. This study compares the performance of two association rule algorithms, Apriori and FP-Growth, in identifying association patterns between products. This study aims to evaluate the efficiency of processing time and the quality of association rules generated by both algorithms in a retail context. The dataset used comes from transactions of Minimarket Adi Poday, covering 143,523 entries and 97,548 transactions from January to August 2024. The selection of this dataset is based on the relevance to the analysis of customer shopping patterns for marketing strategy optimization. Tests were conducted with a minimum support parameter of 0.01, and the results show that FP-Growth is superior in processing speed to Apriori, with an average execution time difference of 33.33% seconds faster on the same dataset. The implication of this research for minimarket owners is that the use of FP-Growth algorithm for purchasing pattern analysis can help in product arrangement and more effective promotion strategies. In addition, this research contributes to the field of Information Systems by demonstrating the effectiveness of FP-Growth in handling large-scale transaction data, as well as providing insight into the selection of algorithms suitable for retail business needs.
