Abstract

Criminal acts that are a threat to every country. Many cases of radicalism are inseparable from the role of women as targets of preaching, others are housewives who do not have sufficient religious knowledge from their families. The purpose of this study is to provide training in increasing women's capacity in understanding the concept of community resilience from the ideology of radicalism and violent extremism and to build women's criticism and sensitivity in detecting symptoms of radicalism and violent extremism in their respective communities. This service method uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach which refers to the main target, namely the women's community from religious organizations and young women across religions. The training was attended by representatives from religious communities; Fatayat NU Sukoharjo, Wonogiri Buddhist youth, Boyolali Catholic Youth, Sukoharjo Hindu Dharma Women, Nasyiatul Aisiyah Karanganyar, and Surakarta Hindu Peradah. Case analysis and problem solving were also carried out in this activity. This training also discussed several things on how to strengthen families from the influence of radicalism and extremism. Support and empower women, especially mothers, who have the skills to identify, predict and respond to radicalism in combating extremism.

Abstract

MAN 2 Klaten is an inclusive school that integrates disabled students, including the blind, into regular classes, achieving learning outcomes in Arabic subjects comparable to other students. This qualitative research aimed to explore the implementation of Arabic language learning for blind students, challenges faced by teachers, and their solutions. Conducted in Class XII, the study involved Arabic teachers, blind students, classmates, and accompanying teachers, using interviews, observation, and documentation for data collection. The findings show that learning plans for blind students are similar to those for other students, utilizing the same methods and materials. However, blind students receive additional explanations individually after class sessions and use laptops with JAWS software for accessibility. Daily assignments are conducted orally with the same questions as those for their peers. Challenges include difficulties in explaining unfamiliar vocabulary, divided teacher focus, and the inability of teachers to use Braille, resulting in blind students writing assignments in transliterated Arabic. Solutions involve detailed explanations, improved focus management, and adaptations in assignment formats. These findings highlight the importance of training teachers in Braille and assistive technologies to further enhance inclusive learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran keterampilan istima’ berbasis digital learning di Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital, khususnya YouTube dapat berjalan dengan baik dan berkontribusi dalam memaksimalkan keterampilan menyimak siswa, memperkaya kosakata, dan melatih kemampuan istima’. Media seperti video animasi menjadikan pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan menarik. Demikian, pelaksanaan digital learning juga menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi, kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi dengan intonasi cepat, serta keterbacaan subtitle pada video pembelajaran. Dalam pembelajaran istima’ berbasis digital learning evaluasi pembelajaran dilakukan melalui tes lisan dan tulis menggunakan platform kahoot dan quizizz, yang menunjukkan adanya antusiasme pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa digital learning mampu menambah keberhasilan pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Terlepas yang dihadapi keberhasilan implementasinya memerlukan dukungan infrastruktur yang memadai serta pelatihan guru untuk mengoptimalkan teknologi dalam proses pembelajaran.
