Abstract

This study aims to improve students' digital literacy through the implementation of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge) digital-based learning model. The subjects of the study were 23 fifth-grade students at SDN Kraton 5. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The study was conducted in two cycles. In the first cycle, the results showed that students' digital literacy indicators had not yet met the established success criteria. This was due to students’ limited understanding of technology use in learning and the insufficient integration of content, pedagogy, and technology. Improvements were made in the second cycle, including the use of interactive digital media and collaborative learning strategies, resulting in a significant increase in students' digital literacy skills. The results in the second cycle showed that 86% of students met the success criteria, indicating that the learning objectives had been achieved. Thus, the digital-based TPACK model proved effective in enhancing elementary students’ digital literacy.
