Abstract

This article provides an overview of the impact of playing metaverse games for pre-school children (4-6 years old), especially on their social and emotional development. Metaverse games are games played in a computer-generated world that is not real but user can see, experience, and interact as if they were in that world through a character called an avatar. We choose the metaverse games roblox, Minecraft, bus simulator, and Sakura school simulator, as well as social emotional development which focuses on interaction activities and expressing emotion. This focus was done based on literature review and children’s habits obtained when playing online games. This study used quantitative correlation method with saturated sampling method. The research was conducted on 36 children at RA Baipas Roudlotul Jannah through an instrument in the form of a questionnaire distributed to parents. Our article offers a different perspective on the social-emotional impact of gaming on pre-school children. Keywords: metaverse game, social emotional development, pre-school age children

Abstract

Children have difficulty mastering the concepts of addition and subtraction as well as number recognition if they have poor numeracy skills and are not stimulated with learning aids. This is the reason for conducting research on the development of learning media. This research aims to present the findings of the development of the learning product "Smart Board Spinner" which offers numeracy teaching to children aged between five and six years. This research applies the ADDIE model. There are five stages in the model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validity test results of media experts and material experts respectively obtained results of 88.8% and 93.42%. Small group trial validators got a score of 92.5% and large group trial validators got a score of 96.25%. All scores obtained show high validity. Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of balance bike activities and the emotional resilience of children aged 5-6 years in Malang. This research was conducted on 35 children aged 5-6 years at the XBC Pushbike Malang, FF Reborn Pushbike Malang and CAKids Pushbike Malang clubs. The type of research used in this research is quantitative descriptive research with correlation and determination test analysis methods. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data collection technique in this research was using a questionnaire which was distributed to the children's parents. The results of research using the Pearson product moment correlation statistical test show that the Sig (2-tailed) value is 0.009 with a correlation coefficient value of 0.437 and a determination value of 0.191. The results show that there is a significant relationship and influence between the intensity of balance bike activities on emotional resilience, with a sufficient or moderate level of relationship strength and a positive relationship direction.

Abstract

This study aims to describe whether the relationship between maternal employment and the level of health of school supplies for children aged 5-7 years at TK ABA 33 Karangploso has a significant relationship or not. This type of research is correlation research with the Eta correlation research type. The location of this research is TK ABA 33 Karangploso with the number of research objects being 36 mothers of students at TK ABA 33 Karangploso. The research was carried out from 17 to 21 June 2024. The data collection technique used a checklist observation sheet. Data analysis techniques using quantitative analysis techniques. The results obtained from this research show that the highest percentage of mothers' work is working as a housewife. The health level of children's school supplies at Kindergarten ABA 33 Karangploso is classified as healthy. And the relationship between mother's employment and the health level of children's school supplies is not related or correlated significantly. Keywords: mother occup

Abstract

High school students certainly have different considerations and reasons for choosing and deciding to enter the PGPAUD department as a place to continue their education. This study aims to determine the knowledge, interest and reasons for high school students choosing or not choosing the PGPAUD Study Program. This research used descriptive approach with quantitative research type. SMAN 1 Talun was used as a research site, with a sample of 12th grade students totaling 168 students. In this study, the sampling procedure and technique used proportional random sampling technique. The data used was primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The results showed that the knowledge of equivalent high school students related to PGPAUD study programs was still classified as moderate to low. The level of interest of equivalent high school students to continue their studies to PGPAUD is still classified as moderate to low. And the level of interest and reasons for students who choose the PGPAUD UM study program is still relatively low. The reasons for high school students who will choose the PGPAUD UM Study Program are mostly due to the desire to gain insight into early childhood education. The reasons for high school students who will not choose the UM PGPAUD Study Program are mostly due to the desire to choose studies in alternative fields and lack of interest in teaching early childhood.
