Abstract

Pulmonary TB is an infectious disease which is a major problem for health in communities, especially in developing countries. The incidence of TB in Indonesia in 2020 is 301 per 100,000 population, the death rate is 34 per 100,000 population. Pulmonary TB patients who do not comply with taking medication can cause a decrease in the cure rate and an increase in the death rate. OAT side effects are one of the causes of non-compliance. This study aims to determine the correlation of OAT side effects with adherence in pulmonary TB patients. The research design was an analytic observational cross sectional study approach and was carried out at the Asolokobal Health Center with a total sample of 30 respondents. Respondents filled out a questionnaire and gave a checklist on the perceived side effects of OAT, compliance was measured with the Guttman scale, the answers "Yes" or "No". The statistical test used is Chi Square with the alternative Fisher's Exact Test. The results of the study showed that 20 respondents (66.7%) adhered to the level of compliance with mild drug side effects. The level of compliance of respondents with symptoms of severe side effects who adhered to it was 6 respondents (20.0%), the level of compliance of respondents with symptoms of severe side effects who did not comply was 4 respondents (13.3%). Fisher's Exact Test, obtained p value = 0.008. It was concluded that there is a correlation between the side effects of anti-tuberculosis drugs and adherence to treatment of pulmonary TB patients.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors are related to the incidence of anemia in pregnant women at the Sota Health Center, Merauke Regency. The research method used is an analytical observational study or analytical survey with a cross-sectional research design. The study results showed a significant relationship between Compliance with Fe consumption and the incidence of anemia in pregnant women, as evidenced by a p-value of 0.001. There was no relationship between Maternal Age (p-value 0.345), Gestational Age (p-value 0.678), Education (p-value 0.699), Income (p-value 0.163), and Parity (p-value 0.911) with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. In conclusion, of the six independent variables, 1 () factor has a relationship, namely compliance with Fe consumption, with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. In contrast, the other five factors have no relationship with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Keywords: Anemia, Pregnant Women

Abstract

Cardiac arrest is a condition of emergency that often occurs. Cardiac arrest is the leading cause of death in many countries. Worldwide patient survival rates after OHCA are still poor. Death from cardiac arrest can occur within minutes if the victim does not receive intervention. Early initiation related to Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (RJP) by people around the patient is one of the main factors in saving patients with cardiac arrest, so it is very important to train ordinary people in Basic Life Assistance measures. The purpose of this community service is so that the community can understand and demonstrate the actions of Basic Life Assistance (BHD) properly and correctly. The method is carried out by providing education and simulation training directly on basic life support. The results obtained were that 73 people in groups were able to demonstrate BHD properly and correctly.
