In Indonesia, technology-based applications, such as Icando, have been introduced as an interactive learning tool for early childhood. The Icando children's learning application is one method that can be used to improve cognitive development. This research aims to describe the influence of using the Icando children's learning application on the cognitive development of young children in symbolic thinking. The population of this study were students, parents and teachers at Darul Fikri Kindergarten, Sucinaraja District, Garut Regency with a sample size of 22 people. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a correlation design, and analysis of the coefficient of determination is also carried out to determine how much contribution the analysis will make after it is carried out. The results of data analysis in this study show that partially, the Children's Learning Application "Icando" has a significant influence on the cognitive development of young children in symbolic thinking. The results of the coefficient of determination show that 66.9% of children's cognitive development in symbolic thinking is influenced by the use of the Icando children's learning application, while the remaining 33.1% is influenced by other factors, such as the learning methods applied at Darul Fikri Kindergarten. This research aims to determine the effect of the Marbel Letter Application on learning motivation and the ability to recognize letters in early childhood. The research used is quantitative research, where quantitative research is more concerned with depth of data and can record as much data as possible. The results of the research that has been carried out have obtained significant values, where the post-test coefficient of determination (R2) test value is 69.2% higher than the pre-test value of 40.8%. This shows the influence of the Marbel Letter Application (X) on learning motivation (Y1) and the ability to recognize letters (Y2) in early childhood.  Keywords: Marbel Letter Application, Learning Motivation, Ability Recognizing Letters, Early Childhood

Abstract

Indonesia holds significant potential in leveraging the vast collection of Islamic social funds. Amid the widespread digital transformation within financial institutions, it is critical to examine the impact of the adoption of digital technology in affecting the distribution of Islamic social finance and its subsequent impact on regional economic development in Indonesia. The research utilized data from 21 provinces in Indonesia to construct a regression model that investigates and evaluates the performance of Islamic social fund distribution concerning regional economic growth. This study integrates a moderation effect model to assess the impact of digital adoption on this relationship. Grouped regression models were used to investigate further regional variations, with robustness checks conducted across different fundraising levels. The findings reveal a significant influence of Islamic social fund distribution on regional economic development, with digital adoption—measured by access to and use of digital technology—acting as a considerable moderator. Further heterogeneity analysis reveals that provinces with lower GINI coefficients experience a more pronounced dampening effect of Islamic social fund distribution on regional economic development, moderated by the extent of digital adoption. This research offers new insights into the relationships between Islamic social fund distribution and digital adoption (ICT) in regional economic development, providing strategic implications for philanthropic institutions and policymakers considering Islamic social fund management.

Abstract

Amidst global climate challenges, green sukuk has emerged as a shariah-compliant instrument to finance renewable energy projects, supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries such as Indonesia and Malaysia. This study examines the impact of green sukuk structures on the efficiency of renewable energy projects. While existing literature has broadly discussed the effects of green sukuk, a significant gap remains in their quantitative assessment of efficiency, particularly in an approach that integrates both financial cost-effectiveness and operational performance. This study explicitly addresses this gap by developing a novel framework that integrates cost-effectiveness analysis (CEA) and data envelopment analysis (DEA) to evaluate four prominent green sukuk: Indonesia’s Green Sovereign Sukuk 2018 and 2019, and Malaysia’s Tadau Energy Sukuk 2017 and Quantum Solar Park Sukuk 2018, using data from official reports and prospectuses. Results show the Green Sovereign Sukuk 2018 as the most efficient (2.90 MW/USD million, 1,600-ton CO₂/USD million, DEA score 1.0000), driven by large-scale implementation and centralized governance, whereas Quantum Solar 2018 scored lowest (0.61 MW/USD million, 808.08-ton CO₂/USD million, DEA score 0.5051) due to project fragmentation. Ijarah contracts enhance governance, whereas mudharabah fosters adaptability but increases risk. The study concludes that hybrid contracts (e.g., musharakah-murabahah) and balanced regulations can optimize the efficiency of green sukuk, offering a scalable model for OIC countries to advance sustainable financing aligned with ESG and SDG objectives.
