Abstract

ABSTRACT Those problems above can be over coned by the implementation of Cooperative Learning model using Jigsaw tipe and Tree Chart. The research purpose is to find out the student’s study result in class VII junior high school number one Lembah Gumanti. The researt type is experimental research, where as the research population is the students of class VII semester II junior high school number one Lembah Gumanti in the study year of 2012/2013 consisting of six class. The sample taking uses the technive of purposive sampling resulting in two sample classes namely class VIIc as experimental class and class VIId as control class. The data analysis technigve is by testing average finilarity using test-t on the real level 0,05. Where as the data analisis result shows the price tcount 2,924 and ttable 1,674 meaning that tcount > ttable, there fore the hypotesis is accepted. Finaly the research can be congluded that by using Cooperative Learning model with Jigsaw type and Tree Chart can inprove the study result of biology in class VII junior high school number one Lembah Gumanti regency of Solok.

Abstract

Theophylline is a bronchodilator used for the treatment of bronchial asthma and other respiratory diseases. Theophylline has a narrow therapeutic index (10-20 µg/ml) and relatively short elimination half-life (6,19 ± 0,031 hours). Causes rapid elimination rate of theophylline should be given periodically to maintain drug levels in blood for the desired therapeutic effect can be achieved. The preparation of theophylline controlled release is expected to produce blood concentrations of theophylline in a more stable. The physical properties of tablets and drug release from matrix systems are influenced by the nature of the composition of the matrix. This research, theophylline controlled release tablets were made by combination of xanthan gum and HPMC as matrix composition. Combination of HPMC and xanthan gum was supposed to produce tablets with the required pysical properties and ability to extend the releasing period of theophylline from matrix system. HPMC-xanthan gum compositions used in formulation were 1:4, 1:1, and 4:1. Based on the evaluation of the physical properties carried out on the tablet, it was found out that the three formulas fit the requirements for ideal tablet. The increasing of xanthan gum concentration in the formula was proportional with the improvement of mass flowability and tablet hardness. Evaluation of the releasing profile of theophylline from matrix system had been conducted in vitro by dissolution test. Based on the test, it was found out that all combinations have variation in releasing profile. The increasing of HPMC concentration in formula will extend the releasing time of theophylline. The difference in releasing profile of Retaphyl SR® with formula 1, 2, and 3 because of differences in raw materials that form the matrix.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of cognitive development of early childhood in symbolic thinking among students at Darul Fikri Kindergarten. In facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0, the use of technology, especially in learning, is important. In Indonesia, technology-based applications, such as Icando, have been introduced as an interactive learning tool for early childhood. The Icando children's learning application is one method that can be used to improve cognitive development. This research aims to describe the influence of using the Icando children's learning application on the cognitive development of young children in symbolic thinking. The population of this study were students, parents and teachers at Darul Fikri Kindergarten, Sucinaraja District, Garut Regency with a sample size of 22 people. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a correlation design, and analysis of the coefficient of determination is also carried out to determine how much contribution the analysis will make after it is carried out. The results of data analysis in this study show that partially, the Children's Learning Application "Icando" has a significant influence on the cognitive development of young children in symbolic thinking. The results of the coefficient of determination show that 66.9% of children's cognitive development in symbolic thinking is influenced by the use of the Icando children's learning application, while the remaining 33.1% is influenced by other factors, such as the learning methods applied at Darul Fikri Kindergarten. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bentuk dedak padi terhadap kualitas fisiknya yakni kerapatan tumpukan, kerapatan pemadatan tumpukan dan berat jenis. Penelitian ini menggunakan dedak padi dengan dua bentuk yaitu dedak padi kasar dan halus yang diambil di kilang padi usaha baru, Juli Keude Dua, Bireuen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), Perlakuan A: Dedak Padi Kasar (ada campuran sekam) dan Perlakuan B: Dedak Padi Halus (Tanpa campuran sekam). Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak 10 kali. Peubah yang diamati adalah kerapatan tumpukan (g/ml), kerapatan pemadatan tumpukan (g/ml) dan  berat jenis (g/ml). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perlakuan tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kerapatan tumpukan, kerapatan pemadatan tumpukan dan berat jenis. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kualitas fisik dedak padi kasar ataupun dedak padi halus secara statistika memiliki kualitas fisik yang sama namun secara angka perlakuan B (dedak halus) memiliki kualitas fisik yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan A (dedak kasar). Dedak padi halus (perlakuan A) memiliki nilai kerapatan tumpukan 0,34 g/ml, kerapatan pemadatan tumpukan 0,50 g/ml dan berat jenis 1,70 g/ml.
