Abstract

The purpose of this study is to add insight into the pretest-posttest result with and without the use of audio visual media on Civics Education Learning outcomes. It is also to add insight on the influence of the use of audio visual media on Civics Education Learning outcomes in 2nd grade students of Menganto Public Elemetary School.This research is quantitative with pretest-posttest, non equivalent control group design. The sample in this study was students who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class with 12 students each group. The results showed that there was a significant influence in the use of audio-visual media on the learning outcomes of theme 6, sub-topic 3, 1st learning, rules and regulations in the school environment material. The t-test results showed that the average pretest-posttest learning outcomes of the control class was 5.944 and the average pretest-posttest learning outcomes of the experimental class were 8.437. Based on the results of the average value, it is obtained that there is an increse of student achievement before and after using audio visual media in thematic learning.

Abstract

The focus in this research is learning Indonesian with Synthetic Analytical Structural (SAS) method. The main purpose of this research was to improve participant’s knowledge about Indonesian with SAS method. It used pretest and posttest to know the effect of SAS method in learning Indonesian and use the result as the main indicator. It used quantitative and qualitative research design. The subject of this research is the first grade students and teachers of SDIT Brilliant, Mojoagung, Jombang joining. There were two meetings conducted. The instruments used in each meetings was consisted of observation sheet of participants activity, study record, interview, and documentation. The researh showed that there was a significant effect of using SAS method to learn Indonesian on Tematic 5, subtheme 1, at the second meeting. It is shown from the pretest which get 70,2%, categorized as enough and the posttest get 85,8%, categorized as excellent. Based on the data, it can be concluded that learning Indonesian with SAS method have a good impact on students performance and it is proven with the good score as the outcomes. Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness and relationship of the drill method to the multiplication calculation ability of class II students at SDN Bareng 4 Jombang. This research is quantitative research with an experimental type of research and uses a One Group Pre Test Post Test design. The sample used was class II students, totaling 10 students. The data collection method in this research uses tests and documentation. The test consists of 50 questions. The results of this research can be concluded that: (1) students' multiplication calculation abilities before applying the drill method are generally categorized as moderate with an average value of 63. (2) students' multiplication calculation abilities after applying the drill method are generally categorized as capable with an average value 91.6. (3) The relationship between the drill method and students' multiplication calculation skills shows that there is a significant relationship or influence. This can be seen from the t test significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is an influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable.

Abstract

This research is a type of development research using the ADDIE model which includes Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. This model is used to solve problems in learning addition and subtraction. The subjects of this research were grade 2 students at SD Negeri Kesongo II. Data analysis techniques using field notes, validator questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The validity of the smart ladder learning media is said to be valid with a percentage of 96.66%, as well as the validity of the material with a percentage of 97%. The process of implementing this learning media was carried out at SD Negeri Kesongo II, especially in class II. This implementation was carried out twice, namely on a small scale and a large scale. Small-scale trials were applied to 5 students by random selection, then large-scale trials were applied to all class II students. Thus, the implementation of the Smart Ladder learning media received a score of 96.5% with very good criteria applied to Mathematics learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the smart ladder learning media can be well received and applied to addition and subtraction material.

Abstract

The advent of the digital age has changed the systems and patterns of life in education so that indirectly students are influenced by their learning interests. So from that the role of teachers and parents is expected to be a solution and control for students. Therefore, the research aims to find out the use of smartphones on the learning interests of students of class IV SDN Kaliwungu 1 Jombang. Research uses discreet methods through a qualitative approach. Research results show that the use of smartphones in fourth grade students affects the interest in learning mathematics. This is demonstrated by the form of learning mathematics through digital video and quis done at school. And the school also gave an instruction to parents to participate in the event of students' learning development.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance student engagement in mathematics learning, particularly in fractions, for fifth-grade students at SDN Bendungan through the cooperative learning model Jigsaw. This classroom action research was conducted in three cycles involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The results showed significant improvements in student engagement and learning outcomes. In the first cycle, the average student engagement reached 65%, increasing to 85% in the third cycle. The Jigsaw model effectively enhanced motivation, student involvement in the learning process, and comprehension of fraction material. Therefore, implementing this model is recommended to improve the quality of mathematics learning in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to develop the dakon media as a learning aid for teaching FPB dan KPK materials to elementary school students. Dakon media was chosen because of its potential to make learning more interactive and enjoyable, thus enhancing students understanding of mathematical concepts that are often considered difficult. The development of this mathematical dakon media uses the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) model. There are 10 steps: identifying potentials and problems, collecting information, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, usage trial, final product revision, and mass production. The needs analysis results indicate that students have never used dakon media in mathematic learning, and the absence of suitable media makes it difficult for them to understand the concepts of FPB dan KPK. The developed dakon media was validated by subject matter experts and media experts to ensure its feasibility as a learning tool. Product testing was conducted on fourth grade students at SDN Sukosari Jogoroto. The results of the mathematical dakon media development showed that the percentage obtained from media expert validators was 94,12%. The percentage result from subject matter expert validators was 88,33%, furthermore, the teacher trial result was 91,34%. A small group trial was conducted with 5 students, resulting in a percentage of 92,69%, while the fields trial conducted with 15 students yielded a percentage of 93,58%. Based on the overall data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of mathematical dakon media is suitable for use as a mathematics learning tool in elementary schools.
