Abstract

Al-i'jaz al-'ilmi is news that comes from the Qur'an or hadith about a fact that has been proven empirically through modern scientific research which in the past has not been scientifically revealed. Among the news from the prophet's hadith that is studied in this research is the hadith about cupping therapy that has been recommended by the Prophet shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam since 14 centuries ago. Since modern scientific research can be conducted in a variety of ways and produce evidence that may not be conclusive, it is necessary to understand the categorical level of evidence derived from modern scientific research in order to be declared as al-i'jaz al-'iImi (scientific miracle). Unfortunately, research on this topic is still limited. On the other hand, such knowledge is important to enrich the information needed in the context of the science of ma'ani al-hadith and the enhancement of faith or spirituality of modern Islamic society. The purpose of this study is to reveal the categories of modern research findings to be declared as al-i'jaz al-'ilmi in the context of health. This research is library research. To see the implementation of the categories compiled, categorization is applied to medical research datasets related to cupping therapy. The results showed that the categorization of al-i'jaz al-ilmi fi al-hadith research includes; the existence of a valid hadith text discussing this matter, then there is a clear signal in the hadith text about scientific facts, then the existence of authentic scientific facts, meaning that it has been tested, not just a theory.  Based on this categorization, the medical research dataset related to cupping therapy falls into this category. This shows that medical research evidence related to cupping therapy and medical research is part of al-i'jaz al-ilmi fi al-hadith.

Abstract

To this day, matan ‘hadith text or context’ criticism remains an interesting discussion in hadith studies. One of the twenty-first century scholars who conducted matan criticism is Israr Ahmad Khan, a professor at Ankara University, Turkey. He criticised the hadith al-qadar ‘destiny’ from Sahih Bukhari. This article reveals Khan's method of matan criticism and his motivation for his criticism of these hadiths. This library research employs the content analysis technique. As a result, Khan's method of matan criticism focuses on the contradiction of the hadith with the findings of contemporary science, or with verses of the Qur'an, with other stronger hadiths, and with logic. In addition, Khan has a previous academic background as a theological scholar. As a result, the subject of Khan's research is theological hadiths related to al-qadar hadiths that are often debated by the theological schools of Jabariyah, Qadariyah, and Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah.

Abstract

Hadis adalah ucapan, perbuatan, penetapan, serta sifat-sifat dan kepribadian Rasulullah ‫ﷺ‬. Etika pendidik adalah etika yang harus dimiliki seorang pendidik dalam melakukan aktifitas mendidik dengan memperhatikan pola perilaku pribadi sebagai landasan utama dalam mendidik. Pendidik merupakan cerminan bagi peserta didik sehingga pendidik perlu berkaca pada cermin yang utuh dan sempurna yaitu pada etika-etika pendidik yang telah diajarkan Rasulullah ‫ﷺ‬ dalam hadis-hadisnya, seperti ikhlas, sabar, dan jujur. Lokasi penelitian ini adalah Pondok Pesantren Daarul Ukhuwwah Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemahaman dan implementasi hadis etika pendidik dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, secara umum para pengajar di pondok pesantren Daarul Ukhuwwah Malang sudah mengimplementasikan etika-etika pendidik yang diajarkan oleh Rasulullah ‫ﷺ‬ seperti adil dalanmengajar, jujur ketika menyampaikan, ikhlas dalam memberikan pengajaran dan sabar. Mereka berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk mempraktikkannya dalam keseharian meskipun sebagian ada yang masih pada tahap berusaha dalam menerapkannya. Kata kunci: Etika, Hadis, Pendidik.
