Abstract

A turbine is a drive that converts potential energy into kinetic energy and kinetic energy. The nature of magnets with the same poles will result in a repulsive force or a pushing force. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of magnet diameter and magnet attack angle and their interaction on the tangential force in a magnetic turbine using neodymium permanent magnets. The research method used is experimental on a magnetic turbine using neodymium permanent magnets. Variations in the diameter of the magnet are 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm, and 30 mm and variations in the angle of attack of the magnet are 5°, 10°, 15°, 20°. The results obtained in this research are that in the clockwise rotation direction the optimal tangential force value is 4.648 N with a magnet diameter of 30 mm and an angle of attack of 5°, while in the counterclockwise rotation direction the optimal tangential force value is 4.087 N with a diameter 30 mm magnet and angle of attack 5°.

Abstract

This Research & Development (R & D) has the main goal to develop and produce OCIPSE learning model. The main product of this research is the OCIPSE learning model with five phases, they are 1) Orient and organize the students for study; 2) Collaborative Investigation; 3) Presentation and discussion; 4) Strengthening of scientific creativity; and 5) Evaluate and provide recognition. The OCIPSE learning model’ quality data is obtained through an expert validation process by using the OCIPSE learning model Qualification Assessment Instrument. The OCIPSE learning model quality analysis used an average validity score, single measures ICC, and Cronbach's coefficient alpha. The result of the research shows OCIPSE learning model with average content validity (3.69), construct validity (3.69), with the validity of each aspect statistically in (rα = .92) and reliability in (α = .87). The results of this study indicate that the developed OCIPSE learning model was declared qualified by experts. The research implication is that a qualified OCIPSE learning model can be used to enhance the scientific creativity of junior high school students in natural science learning.

Abstract

The accelerating changes in ecosystems caused by human activities, such as deforestation, urbanisation, pollution, and climate change, demand a critical response from various groups, including students as agents of change. This article examines the importance of digital campaigns as a strategic tool for students to critique ecosystem changes while cultivating environmental awareness. With an analytical critical approach as a lecturer, this article synthesises various research findings and scientific articles that show that digital campaigns not only function as a medium for disseminating information but also as a vehicle for transformative learning that can build ecological awareness, critical thinking skills, and social engagement among students. Digital campaigns are considered relevant to the characteristics of today's student generation, which is closely connected to digital technology and social media.
