Abstract

This article aims to describe the use of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in writing short stories in an offline-online blended manner in class IX of SMPN 3 Cileunyi. The research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research model carried out from September to December for the 2021/2022 school year. The number of students involved in the study was 52 people consisting of 30 men and 22 women. The results of the study show that the use of models is very appropriate and can overcome students' difficulties in writing short stories. This has been proven by the fact that their work resulting from online and offline learning has an average score of 71 out of the five aspects assessed, namely suitability of the theme and content, point of view, characters and plot, and language. In addition, it is known that there is a significant increase in learning outcomes between learning to write short stories before and after online-offline blended learning with the PBL model, namely 63.8 with a significance level of 90%.Keywords: blended; short story; offline and online, PBLABSTRAK:Artikel ini bertujuan akan mendeskripsikan penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam menulis cerita pendek secara blended luring-daring di kelas IX SMPN 3 Cileunyi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas  dilaksanakan bulan September hingga Desember tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Jumlah peserta didik yang dilibatkan dalam penelitian sebanyak 52 orang terdiri atas laki-laki 30 dan perempuan 22 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model sangat tepat dan dapat mengatasi kesulitan siswa dalam menulis cerita pendek. Hal ini terbukti karya mereka  yang dihasilkan dari pembelajaran daring dan luring beroleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 71 dari lima aspek yang dinilai, yaitu kesesuaian tema dengan isi, sudut pandang, tokoh dan karakter, alur, bahasa. Selain itu, diketahui terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar secara signifikan antara pembelajaran menulis cerita pendek sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran blended daring–luring dengan model PBL yaitu 63,8 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 90%.    Kata Kunci: blended; cerita pendek;  luring dan daring, PBL

Abstract

Leaders' communication style in motivating the work of members in social organizations is important because it is a method used by leaders in expressing their authority and is implemented and communicated to organize and carry out the management of the organization they lead. Managing organizations that are social in nature is not easy because the members they lead are also social, in contrast to organizations such as governments or companies that have a fixed salary so that the application of rules and policies is easier. In social organizations, communication is one of the influences on the smooth running of the organization. The purpose of this study was to determine the style of organizational communication carried out by the leaders of the Bengkulu Citizens Association, Jabodetabek, in motivating the work of organizational members (especially administrators) so that the organization continues to exist and develop, and to find out the factors that make it successful and which hinder it in running the organization. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Primary data collection used interviews with key informants, namely the chief executive of the Jabodetabek PWK and several members (administrators) as supporting informants. Secondary data is collected by way of observation and documentation. Data analysis uses the analytical model proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely the interactive model, where the steps taken are: data reduction; presentation of data; drawing of conclusions; and data verification. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation and technique triangulation The results showed that the communication style used by the PWK Jabodetabek leadership organization was the equalitarian style, marked by the existence of a two-way flow of message distribution and leaders' concern for and ability to establish good relationships with subordinates in personal matters and in other spheres.

Abstract

The community service program conducted by KKM Group 03 students from Bina Bangsa University (UNIBA) at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Anam Cendekia aims to improve early childhood understanding of religious observances (ablution and prayer) and food security education through urban farming practices on limited land. This program uses an educational approach that is applicable, fun, and based on real-world actions. The methods implemented include simulations of ablution and prayer practices, education on the concept of urban farming, and practical farming using Styrofoam. The results of the activity indicate an increase in children's knowledge and skills in performing religious observances correctly and fostering awareness of food self-sufficiency from an early age. This program serves as a model for community service based on multidisciplinary collaboration that can be replicated in similar educational institutions

Abstract

This research has a background, among others, weak and declining values ​​of character education in students. This study aims to describe: the value of character education. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The object of research is the novel Cinta dalam Ikhlas by Abay Adhitya. The object of research is the value of character education in the novel Cinta dalam Ikhlas by Abay Adhitya. The technique used in this research is library, reading and note-taking technique. The researcher recorded the data in the novel Cinta dalam Ikhlas by Abay Adhitya and books for writing reference. Data analysis technique the writer chose content analysis technique. The results of this study can be concluded that the value of character education includes (a) attitudes and behavior in relation to God, (b) attitudes and behavior in relation to oneself, (c) attitudes and behavior in relation to family, (d) attitudes and behavior in relation to society and the nation, (e) attitudes and behavior in relation to the natural surroundings.

Abstract

Artikel ini akan mendeskripsikan struktur puisi anak-anak dan pemanfaatannya dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran LEA. Di dalam artikel dikemukakan peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran LEA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode “pre experimental design atau quasi experimental” dengan teknik tes. Adapun pengolahan data menggunakan rumus one group design. Sumber data adalah puisi anak-anak pada media cetak dan siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Kadungora Garut tahun 2017. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kemampuan siswa sebelum menggunakan model LEA diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 21,82 dengan konversi E;  setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran LEA diperoleh nilai rata rata 32 dengan konversi C.  Nilai tersebut menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis puisi sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan bahan ajar puisi anak-anak dengan model pembelajaran LEA. Oleh karena itu, dapat dikatakan bahwa  puisi anak-anak perlu dijadikan bahan ajar menulis puisi dengan  model LEA   karena terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi. Kata kunci: puisi, anak-anak, menulis, LEAThis article will describe the structure of children's poetry and their use in learning to write poetry using the LEA learning model. In the article the improvement of students' poetry writing abilities was stated before and after using the LEA learning model. This study uses the method "pre experimental design or quasi experimental" with the test technique. The data processing uses the formula one group design. The data source is children's poetry in print media and VIII grade students of SMPN 2 Kadungora Garut in 2017. Based on the results of the study, the ability of students before using the LEA model obtained an average value of 21.82 with the conversion of E; after using the LEA learning model obtained an average value of 32 with a conversion of C. This value shows a significant difference between the ability to write poetry before and after using children's poetry teaching materials with the LEA learning model. Therefore, it can be said that children's poetry need to be used as teaching material for writing poetry with the LEA model because it is proven to improve the ability to write poetry.Keywords: poetry, children, writing, LEA

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan permainan Lego dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia 5–6 tahun di PAUD Al Khairiyah Delingseng Cilegon. Perkembangan kognitif anak usia dini mencakup kemampuan berpikir simbolik dan pemecahan masalah yang perlu diasah melalui media yang menyenangkan dan edukatif. Salah satunya adalah permainan Lego yang mampu merangsang kemampuan berpikir logis, imajinatif, serta koordinasi motorik dan visual anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas dan anak usia 5–6 tahun yang aktif mengikuti kegiatan bermain Lego di PAUD tersebut. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan permainan Lego memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan kognitif anak, khususnya dalam aspek berpikir simbolik dan pemecahan masalah. Anak mampu mengenali dan menyusun lambang bilangan, mencocokkan bentuk, serta menyusun bangunan sederhana dengan kreativitas dan pemikiran logis.
