Abstract

This research was pre-experimental research begun with development research that aims to produce good learning instrument of problem based learning for cube and cuboid in 8th grade, describe the effectiveness of problem besed learning for cube and cuboid in 8th grade, and compare the learning outcomes of student taught by problem based learning with the learning outcomes of student taught by commonly conventional learning implemented in the school for cube and cuboid at 8th grade. The development of learning instrument used Plomp model. The learning instrument which had been gained were Lesson Plan, Students Worksheet, and Test Instruments.The data source of this study was the students at SMPN 3 Srono Satu Atap in academic year 2014/2015 with VIII-2 was trial class, VIII- 3 as implementative class, and VIII-1 as control class. Based on the trial results, that is the learning instrument that fulfill criteria of (1) valid, (2) practical (3) effective. Based on the results of descriptive analysis on experimental study concluded that problem based learning is effective for teaching cube and cuboid. This can be seen from 1)the teacher abilities are good, 2) the students activities are effective, 3) the students responses are positive, and 4) the learning outcomes of student is completed, there is 84,4 % of students who got ?70 for their score. Based on inferential statistical analysis, it be conclude that the learning outcomes of student taught by problem based learning with the learning outcomes of student taught by commonly conventional learning implemented in the school for cube and cuboid at 8th grade.

Abstract

Pesantren is the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia. Now its presence has undergone many changes, including in the development of its curriculum. In the implementation of education, the Pesantren Bustanul Falah Banyuwangi develops an entrepreneurship curriculum by establishing a formal educational institution in the form of a Bustanul Falah vocational high school (SMK). This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the entrepreneurship curriculum at the Islamic Boarding School Bustanul Falah Banyuwangi. This research is research that uses a descriptive qualitative approach. This research data comes from primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Furthermore, the collected data is interpreted and analyzed according to data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study found several findings, namely: first, the curriculum planning stage begins with the formulation of curriculum objectives, which is followed by the formulation of the entrepreneurship curriculum at the Bustanul Falah Islamic Boarding School Banyuwangi. Second, at the curriculum implementation stage, information was found about several policies implemented in curriculum development, the ability of teachers to implement the curriculum, and some of the obstacles faced in developing the entrepreneurship curriculum. Third, the evaluation stage is an evaluation of an objective model that is carried out at the end of curriculum development activities or better known as summative evaluation.

Abstract

Kebangkitan ekonomi berbasis halal atau syari’ah dalam ekonomi global membawa dampak yang sangat signifikan pada sektor lainnya seperti perbankan, kuliner, fashion, dan gaya hidup. Hal ini ditunjang dengan semakin meningkatnya populasi muslim di dunia dan meningkatnya pendapatan penduduk di negara-negara muslim. Konsep halal pun semakin diminati oleh non muslim yang kemudian berkembang menjadi pariwisata halal. Begitu juga dengan Banyuwangi, dengan potensi wisata alamnya dan ingin meningkatkan kesejahteraan penduduknya, membuat destinasi wisata dengan konsep syari’ah yaitu Pantai Syari’ah Pulau Santen. Penelitian ini berusaha mengungkap tentang karakteristik wisatawan yang berkunjung, faktor-faktor apa yang mempengaruhi kunjungan wisatawan, dan mengetahui faktor apa yang paling kuat dan paling lemah yang mempengaruhi kunjungan wisatawan di Pantai Syari’ah Pulau Santen. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Pantai Syari’ah Pulau Santen dengan menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer berdasarkan kuesioner yang dianalisis dengan analisis persentase dan analisis Regresi Linier Berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, dapat diketahui bahwa karakteristik wisatawan didominasi oleh perempuan (71%) dengan rentang usia antara 17 sampai dengan 25 tahun (66%) yang berstatus sebagai pelajar atau mahasiswa (67%), yang baru pertama kali berkunjung (41%) bersama temannya (71%) atas rekomendasi dari teman atau saudaranya. Berdasarkan model regresi linier berganda, dapat diketahui bahwa faktor tata laksana, fasilitas, ODTWA (Objek dan Daya Tarik Wisata Alam), dan aksesibilitas secara bersama-sama (simultan) mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap  jumlah wisatawan di Pantai Syari’ah Pulau Santen Banyuwangi. Akan tetapi secara parsial (terpisah), keempat faktor tersebut tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap jumlah wisatawan. Faktor yang paling kuat adalah Objek dan Daya tarik Wisata Alam, sedangkan faktor yang paling lemah adalah aksesibilitas

Abstract

Understanding of language is closely related to mathematical reasoning, because language has function as a means of communication to convey ideas or ideas to others. Submission of mathematical ideas delivered by students will show how far the level of student understading of the mathematical concepts they have. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach which aims to describe the obstacles faced by students when using language on mathematical reasoning. Data obtained from observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentations. Based on the results of the analysis conducted, it can be seen that constraints faced by students when using language on mathematical reasoning are feelings of shame and inferiority, difficulty understanding the sentence, and lack of vocabulary students have.
