Not in the future, Sasak, an ancient manuscript on palm-leaf media from the island of Lombok, experienced quality degradation over time, which worsened the readability of the manuscript. This study explores a combination of denoising and binarization techniques for manuscript image processing with the aim of helping improve future script readability. The experimental results show that the readability level can be improved by different denoising and binarization techniques for different front conditions. The binarization simple thresholding technique and the gaussian adaptive technique are found to generally have the best performance compared to other techniques.DOI : 10.29408/jit.v1i2.902

The involvement of lecturers, students, and teaching staff is an integral form of the Tri Dharma of higher education. Education has a crucial role and is the primary key to producing quality human resources. In the current practice of teaching and learning activities, many teachers have not used media or technology in teaching. Therefore, it is necessary to increase teacher competence through Community Service Activities to adapt to the industrial era 4.0, which is more likely to use technology in various fields of life, one of which is the world of education. PKM activities were carried out for six villages in Sembalun District to equalize the competence of teachers in the village so that they were equal to teachers in the city in presenting technology-based learning media. This interactive learning media creation training produced enjoyable visual and graphic-based learning to become more exciting and not dull. With the implementation of this activity, teachers have more competence in using technology and have succeeded in building their learning media. Apart from that, the creativity of the teacher increases with this activity

Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) play a strategic role in promoting local economic independence by optimally utilizing village potential and good financial management can increase Village Original Income (PADes). However, in practice, BUMDes management still faces various challenges, such as limited Human Resources, lack of Innovation, and obstacles in Governance and Marketing aspects. The purpose of this Community Service implementation is to improve knowledge, abilities and skills in BUMDes management in Borok Toyang Village in online marketing, e-business education and direct assistance in the use of Accounting Software. The methods used include observation with descriptive analysis, training and assistance in conducting online marketing and preparing financial reports. The results of the study show improvements in financial management and online marketing. In addition, this activity also encourages community participation and the growth of trust in BUMDes as a collectively owned institution. Thus, this activity successfully contributes to the transformation of BUMDes into an accountable, independent and sustainable village economic institution

This study focuses on the development of a web-based digital information system to optimize the water bill payment process for village water services at Bumdes Saling Sedok, Peresak Village. The manual system that has been used to date has led to various challenges, such as payment delays, recording errors, and a lack of transparency. Therefore, innovations based on information technology are expected to overcome these problems while improving service quality. The research methodology involves user requirements analysis, system design using a prototyping approach, and the implementation of web-based technology. The software used in the design and implementation of the system includes XAMPP as the web server, phpMyAdmin as the database, and Visual Studio Code as the text editor for developing PHP and HTML files. The developed system provides key features such as real-time access to billing information, online payment facilities, automatic notifications to customers, and financial reports for administrators. The expected outcomes include improved efficiency and effectiveness of the payment process, enhanced transparency of financial data, and easier access to services for the community. In addition, this system supports the empowerment of Bumdes through more modern and professional management. The main contribution of this research is the provision of a technological solution that not only improves the operational performance of Bumdes but also empowers the community to adopt technology for everyday needs. These findings can serve as a foundation for the development of similar systems in other regions, supporting digital transformation and enhancing community-based public services.
