Abstract

Abstrak: Aliran angin pada tingkat kawasan dibutuhkan untuk pemanfaatan penghawaan alami dalam gedung atau bangunan guna mencapai tingkat kenyamanan pengguna gedung sehingga produktifitas pengguna menjadi lebih baik. Aliran angin dipengaruhi oleh iklim setempat, musim dan tingkat kekasaran permukaan kulit bumi serta perbedaan tekanan udara. Hal ini dapat dijadikan konsep untuk merancang bangunan dengan pemanfaatan energi angin. Tentunya untuk maksimal penggunaan aliran angin juga dipengaruhi oleh bentuk jendela, arah bukaan jendela an besarnya bukaan jendela. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan arsitektur, hasil yang diperoleh diperoleh dari data primer dan sekunder yang di simulasikan dengan program Computational Fluids Dynamic (CFD). Hasil simulasi memperlihatkan bahwa aliran angin dari arah .lapangan bola (arah barat) melewati pepohonan dan menabrak dinding gedung Yoseph sehingga menimbulkan efek turbulen pada bagian atap yang memiliki kemiringan 30°.Kata kunci: Simulasi, aliran angin, Computational Fluids DynamicTitle: Simulation of Wind Flow at Yoseph Building Musi Charitas Catholic University Abstract: Wind flow at the area level is needed for the use of natural ventilation in buildings or buildings in order to achieve a level of comfort for building users so that user productivity becomes better. Wind flow is influenced by the local climate, seasons and the degree of roughness of the earth's crust as well as differences in air pressure. This can be used as a concept for designing buildings using wind energy. Of course, the maximum use of wind flow is also influenced by the shape of the window, the direction of the window opening and the size of the window opening. This study used a descriptive analysis method with an architectural approach, the results obtained were obtained from primary and secondary data simulated with the Computational Fluids Dynamic (CFD) program. The simulation results show that the wind flow from the direction of the ball field (west direction) passes through the trees and hits the wall of the Yoseph building, causing a turbulent effect on the roof which has a slope of 30 °.Keywords: Simulation, wind flow, Computational Fluids Dynamic

Abstract

This light on earth is needed by mankind to carry out every activity every day, be it activities during the day or at night. Natural lighting mostly comes from the sun which is influenced by the condition of the celestial sphere, in buildings of course it is influenced by large window openings. Meanwhile, artificial lighting comes from lamps which are influenced by the type of lamp, placement and distance. A space planning will of course pay attention to lighting, of course, especially for rooms with special functions that require very high accuracy. The standard of comfort for a room is regulated in SNI 03-6179-2011 stated for classroom lighting requires 15 W / m2, drawing space requires 20 w / m2. This study uses a descriptive analysis method with an architectural approach, the results obtained from the primary data can be used as input simulations with the ecotect radiance 5.6 program. From the simulation results with ecotect radiance, it is found that the need for strong bright light when adjusted to the function of the classroom as a place for teaching and learning is still lacking or below standard, which is below 300 lux.

Abstract

Sekolah minggu merupakan wadah atau tempat yang tepat bagi tumbuh kembangnya spiritualitas anak. Sekolah minggu memiliki tujuan untuk mendidik anak tentang kebenaran, nilai-nilai dan moral Kristiani yang ditanamkan dalam diri anak-anak, sehingga dapat menjadi bekal anak-anak untuk masa depannya. Sekolah minggu di Gereja Kristen Sumatera Bagian Selatan (GKSBS) Palembang Siloam yang beralamat di Jalan H. Sanusi, Sukabangun Kecamatan Sukarami Palembang. Permasalahan yang di temukan pada ruang sekolah minggu adalah kurang nyaman dari segi akustik yaitu adanya gaung saat ruang ibadah tersebut digunakan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran desain material akustik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil yang ditemukan setelah desain ulang dengan simulasi Ecotect waktu dengung yaitu sebesar 0,53 detik dan dan perhitungan matematis waktu dengung yaitu sebesar 0,5 detik. Angka tersebut masuk dalam range standard.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki potensi pariwisata yang tinggi, salah satunya adalah pariwisata di bidang industri MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exibition). MICE merupakan wisata konvensi, dengan batasan seperti usaha jasa konvensi. Hal ini sebagai usaha dengan kegiatan memberikan jasa pelayanan bagi suatu pertemuan sekelompok orang. Maitreyawira Convention Center menjadi salah satu penyedia jasa konvensi yang sedang meningkat pemakainya di kota Palembang. Dalam penggunaan konvensi banyak aspek yang harus di perhatikan, salah satunya adalah pencahayaan alami dan pencahayaan buatan yang sesuai untuk penggunaan konvensi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif analisis dengan melakukan simulasi dengan program DIALux guna mendapatkan kuat ternag pencahayaan buatan. Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh bahwa  pencahayaan buatan pada gedung Maitreyawira Convention Center masih kurang dari standar kebutuhan pencahayaan untuk sebuah ruang konvensi, yaitu berkisar 20 sampai dengan 120 lux.Kata kunci: MICE, pencahayaan alami, pencahayaan buatan, standar pencahayaan.

Abstract

The facade is the most important part of a building, because the facade of the building is the first thing that is often seen and shows a style at that time and the identity of the home owner. The use of local architectural elements in several cities in Indonesia is widely used in public buildings, government buildings and even residential houses. The use of these elements can be seen from the shape of the roof, walls which of course have the meaning or philosophy of a local architectural element. The application of these local architectural elements is used in the appearance of the building as the identity of a region. For this reason, this study aims to determine the application of local architectural elements to the building, especially on Jalan Captain A. Rivai Palembang. This study uses a descriptive analysis method through an exploratory approach. Data were obtained by conducting field observations, literature studies and interviews. The use of these elements is widely used in government buildings. The elements that are often used are tanjak, Palembang songket and carvings typical of the local area.

Abstract

The people of Palembang city know Taman Kambang Iwak (fish pond) as a park for recreation, sports and social contact. Kambang Iwak is divided into two, namely the Kambang Iwak Besak Park (TKIB) and the Kambang Iwak Kecik Park (TKIK). Taman Kambang Iwak Kecik is behind the Taqwa grand mosque Palembang which has a pool that is ¼ the area of TKIB and has a green open space (RTH) which is quite small compared to TKIB. TKIK is surrounded by a 2.5 m wide pedestrian street that has many Tabebuya trees planted. With the fish pond and green open space, of course, the temperature and humidity of the environment affect the level of comfort in the room. Therefore this study aims to determine how much influence temperature and humidity have on the Taqwa Palembang Great Mosque. And descriptive analysis research method with an architectural approach. Data collection was carried out using Hobometers and anemometers. The data was analyzed by comparing it with the ASHRAE standard. It was found that the influence of temperature and humidity on TKIK had quite an effect on the level of comfort, especially during the day when the sun was hot which made the evaporation of the pool water enter the Raya Taqwa Mosque due to the wind blowing from the pool.
