Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran keadaan preferensi petani mengenai GAP, mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap intervensi GAP sebagai upaya peningkatan preferensi petani dan untuk menetapkan strategi penyuluhan di Desa Margamulya. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari instrumen kuesioner dan wawancara. Penentuan jumlah sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin sehingga didapat responden sebanyak 48 orang, untuk teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah Purposive Sampling. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis regresi linier berganda dan analisis Kendall’s W. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat di tarik kesimpulan bahwa intervensi GAP pada petani tomat di Desa Margamulya berada dalam kategori kurang baik. Sedangkan untuk preferensi petani tomat terhadap GAP masuk dalam kategori tinggi. Faktor internal, faktor eksternal, dan intervensi GAP menunjukkan memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dan bernilai positif terhadap preferensi petani secara simultan dan umur, pendidikan formal, pendidikan nonformal, ketersediaan sarana produksi dan kemudahan akses informasi beperngaruh secara simultan. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan preferensi petani khususnya dalam implementasi dan men-difusikan GAP pada budidaya tomat adalah dengan cara memberikan penyuluhan daring dengan membagikan video dan materi mengenai GAP serta dengan memberikan gambaran melalui petak percontohan dengan penerapan prinsip GAP. Adapun beberapa upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah bagi BPP Kecamatan Cikajang dilaksanakannya kegiatan pembinaan dan penyuluhan yang lebih efektif, setelah pandemi ini berakhir dapat melakukan penyuluhan secara tatap muka dan lebih intensif tentang teknologi GAP dan melibatkan beberapa stakeholder.

Abstract

Cassava flour is the alternative of carbohydrate source as the subtitute of flour. The productivity of cassava (Manihot esculenta) is higher than the other agricultural commodities in Cibadak. This research is aimed to: (1) evaluate the motivation level from the woman farmers group in producing the cassava to be cassava flour in Keduagung Barat village and Pasar Keong Subdistrict Cibadak village (2) analyze factors which are influencing the motivation level of woman farmers group to produce cassava to be cassava flour in Keduagung Barat village and Keong Market Subdistrict Cibadak, (3 Determine which is the lowest aspect during the production technique in producing cassava to be cassava flour for the woman farmers group in Keduagung Barat dan Pasar Keong village, as the material in penyuluhan. This research was conducted in october 2011 until december 2011. The result of this research showed (1) The level of woman farmers group motivation in cassava flours production is included in high category, (2)Based on the factors that are influencing the farmers motivation level,the age of woman farmers group is included in the productive age category, the formal education is included in the low category, the non formal education in this case extension,is included in low category, training is included in middle category, wide area is included in very narrow category, innovation adjustment included in match category, the quality of cassava is included in good enough category and the way in using the cassava flours production tools is included in the easy use category, and (3) cassava production variable, demand, price, and transportation facilitation of cassava doesn't have a significant correlation with the woman farmers group motivation.

Abstract

The experiment was conducted in the District of Megamendung Bogor Regency of West Java Province at March 18 until May 12 2013. This study aims to determine and quantify the extent of relationship functioning farmer groups in the PTT application of rice (Oryza sativa L.). Instruments used form questionnare distributed to 30 farmers. Research variables consist of the independent variable (x) is the function of kelompoktani, while the dependent variable (y) is the component PPT rice. Data were analyzed using Spearman rank correlation coefficient analysis. The result showed there was a significant relationship between function of group farmers as classroom learning to the application of quality seeds, legowo technique, balanced fertilization, and IPM implementation with r value 0,627; 0,610; 0,577; and 0,512 respectively. Group farmers function as cooperation showed significant relationship to the the application of quality seeds, legowo technique, balanced fertilization, and IPM implementation with r value 0,513; 0,427; 0,438; and 0,375 respectively. Group farmers function as production unit showed significant relationship to the the application of quality seeds, legowo technique, balanced fertilization, and IPM implementation with r value 0,695; 0,647; 0,673; and 0,573 respectively.

Abstract

The aims of this research are: (1) To explain the effect of environment characteristic, motivation and competency of the work to performance of voluntary extension worker in the diffusion of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in district of Cianjur and Bandung (2) To explain the relationship of environment characteristic, motivation, competency of the work and performance of voluntary extension worker in the diffusion of Integrated Pest Management in district of Cianjur and Bandung. This research was carried out in May through November 2010. Result of this research showed that: (1) Environment characteristic and competency of IPM gives significant effect on the work of voluntary extension worker in the dissemination IPM in Cianjur and Bandung district. Environment characteristic was represented by community perception on the role of voluntary extension worker and support of local informal leader. Competency of IPM was manifested by the ability to anticipate and to prevent the attack of pest. Work motivation of voluntary extension worker provide in significantly on the performance to indicators which can be use to evaluate work motivation are reward and willingness achieve best (2) Environment characteristic and competency IPM show strong relationship in the influence of performance of voluntary extension worker.
