Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana menerapkan desain didaktis dengan scaffolding untuk mengatasi learning obstacle siswa dalam menjumlahkan pecahan aljabar di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 7 orang siswa kelas VIII E. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian desain didaktis (DDR). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan desain didaktis dengan scaffolding yang berupa Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) dengan tahapan pembelajaran scaffolding serta skenario pembelajaran di kelas dapat mengatasi learning obstacle. Sebelum implementasi desain didaktis dengan scaffolding siswa kurang dapat  menyelesaikan penjumlahan pecahan aljabar dengan penyebut berbeda maupun sama, dan siswa juga kurang dapat memberikan alasan terhadap jawaban yang diberikannya. Setelah implementasi desain didaktis dengan scaffolding siswa dapat menyelesaikan penjumlahan pecahan aljabar dengan penyebut sama maupun berbeda beserta alasannya, meskipun terdapat alasan dari jawaban siswa yang masih kurang lengkap.   Kata kunci: Desain Didaktis, Scaffolding, Learning Obstacle Abstract: The objective of the research is to apply the didactic design with scaffolding to overcome learning obstcles add fractions algebra students in class VIII SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak. Seven student from VIII E were being the subject of the research. The research is an Didactical Design Research (DDR). The results showed a didactic design with scaffolding in the form of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) to the stages of scaffolding learning and learning scenarios in the classroom learning can overcome the obstacle. Before the implementation of a didactic design with scaffolding students less able finish summation algebra fractions with different denominators and the same, and students also less able give a reason for the answer he gave. After the implementation of the didactic design with scaffolding students are can complete summation algebra fractions with the same denominator or different and why, although there are reasons of the students’ answers are still not complete.   Keywords: Didactic Design, Scaffolding, Learning Obstcle

Abstract

Majalengka is one of the regencies in West Java that possesses significant natural and cultural tourism potential, yet many people are still unfamiliar with its destinations. Therefore, an interactive and accessible promotional medium is required to increase public awareness. This study aims to design and develop an interactive website that presents information about the 10 most popular tourist attractions in Majalengka. The development method applied is the Rational Unified Process (RUP), consisting of the Inception, Elaboration, Construction, and Transition phases. The website was developed using the Laravel framework with MySQL as the database, and tested using the black-box testing method to ensure system functionality. The results show that the website can comprehensively present tourism information through features such as location maps, photo galleries, articles, and interactive comment sections. This website is expected to assist the local government in promoting tourism, provide greater exposure for tourism managers, and help tourists plan their visits more effectively.

Abstract

Vocabulary mastery is a fundamental aspect in English learning, especially at the elementary school level. However, many students still experience difficulties in mastering vocabulary optimally due to learning methods that are less interesting and not appropriate to their age characteristics. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) methodology to look into how well game tactics can help elementary school students improve their command of English vocabulary. A total of 50 articles published from 2020 to 2025 from various sources using publish or perish were collected and analyzed according to predetermined both inclusion and exclusion standars. The study’s findings indicate that game techniques have a favorable effect on enhancing vocabulary mastery, learning motivation, and active student engagement.Various types of games such as flash card, scrabble game, word game and wordwall have been demonstrated to be successful in aiding students in comprehending and rebember new vocabulary. However, there are also several obstacles such as limited time, facilities, and teachers' abilities in implementing game techniques optimally. The results of this investigation should be a reference for educators, researchers, and educational policy makers in developing more interesting and effective English learning methods at the elementary school level.
