Abstract

Abstract Research on the use of language in official letters at the Pemangkat District office in Sambas City focuses on the use of language in letters issued by the government of Pemangkat District. The use of the language in question is the Indonesian Spelling, diction, and effective sentences used in outgoing letters in May, June, and July 2018. The focus is in accordance with the formulation of the problem directly related to the research objectives, namely: (1) Describe the use of Indonesian Spelling on official letters in the pemangkat sub-office, (2) Describing the use of diction on official letters in the pemangkat sub-office, (3) Describing the use of effective sentences in official letters in the Pemangkat sub-district office, and (4) describing plans for implementing research results about official letters and class VII Indonesian language learning based on the 2013 curriculum.This research uses descriptive method and is in the form of qualitative. The data of this study are written on a letter issued by the government of Pemangkat District. The data source of this research is the letter out of Pemangkat District office in May, June, and July 2018. Data collection techniques used in this study are documentation techniques. Keywords: Official Letters, Indonesian Spelling, Dictation, Effective Sentences, Pemangkat District.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis model discovery learning pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kelas VIII SMP/MTs. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model 4- D, yaitu define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan) dan desseminate (penyebaran). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen validitas dan praktikalitas. Instrumen validitas berupa lembar penilaian validasi untuk menilai kevalidan perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, RPP dan LAS. Instrumen praktikalitas berupa angket respon siswa untuk menilai keterbacaan LAS. Perangkat pembelajaran yang sudah dikembangkan divalidasi oleh tiga validator. Uji coba kelompok kecil dilakukan pada siswa SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. Hasil analisis data kevalidan diperoleh nilai rata-rata untuk silabus, RPP dan LAS berturut-turut 3,78; 3,67; dan 3,59 yang dikategorikan sangat valid. Hasil analisis data kepraktisan LAS pada uji coba kelompok kecil adalah 3,72 dengan kategori sangat praktis. Penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan produk berupa perangkat pembelajaran matematika berbasis model discovery learning pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar meliputi silabus, RPP dan LAS yang valid dan LAS yang praktis.Kata Kunci: Pengembangan; Perangkat Pembelajaran; Model Discovery Learning; 4-D. Abstract. This research to produce a product in the form mathematical learning devices using discovery learning model on polyhedron material of class VIII SMP/MTs. The development model used is the 4-D model namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research instrument used is validity instrument and practicality. The validity instrument is a validation assessment sheet to assess the validity of learning tools form of syllabus, lesson plans and student worksheet. The practical instrument is a student response questionnaire to assess the readability of the LAS. The mathematical learning devices developed are validated by three validators. Small group trials were carried out on students of SMPN 8 Pekanbaru. The results of the validity data analysis obtained an average value for the syllabus, lesson plans and LAS respectively 3,78; 3,67; and 3,59 which are categorized as very valid. The results of the practicality data analysis of LAS in the small group trial were 3,72 with the very practical category. This research and development produces a product that is a mathematical learning device using discovery learning model on polyhedron material which includes valid syllabus, lesson plan and student worksheets and practical worksheets.Keywords: Research and Development; Learning Devices; Discovery Learning Model; 4-D.
