Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi melalui media kisah kepahlawanan tokoh wayang pada siswa kelas V SD 2 Panjangrejo, Pundong, Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Data diperoleh dengan pedoman pengamatan, catatan lapangan, angket, wawancara dan tes. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket, lembar pengamatan, catatan lapangan, lembar penilaian keterampilan menulis puisi, dan dokumentasi kegiatan. Teknik analisisnya mencakup proses tindakan kelas yang dilakukan secara kualitatif dan analisis hasil tindakan yang berupa skor secara kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kualitas proses dan produk. Pada siklus I antusiasme siswa mulai terlihat dan lebih bersemangat dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Pada siklus II antusiasme siswa lebih terlihat jelas dan mereka juga lebih bersemangat jika dibanding pada siklus I. Peningkatan secara produk dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai hasil menulis puisi siswa pada setiap siklus. Peningkatan hasil atau produk dapat dilihat dari perbandingan nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis puisi siswa pada setiap siklus. Nilai rata-rata siswa pada tahap pratindakan adalah 55,40; pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 68,06; dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 78,34. Peningkatan nilai dari pratindakan ke siklus I adalah 12,66; dan dari siklus I ke siklus II meningkat menjadi 10,28. Dengan demikian, kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas V SD 2 Panjangrejo, Pundong, Bantul telah mengalami peningkatan baik secara proses maupun produk setelah diberi tindakan dengan menggunakan media kisah kepahlawanan tokoh wayang.

Abstract

Book of Negeri Daging: Kumpulan Puisi (The Land of Meat: A Collection of Poetry) by KH. A. Mustofa Bisri was a collection of poetry that presented religious nationalist values. This book had educational values that could serve as a guide in the formation of the religious-nationalist character of society in the current era. This study was a type of qualitative research, which emphasized the use of theory from an analytical-descriptive way of thinking. Collecting data in this study was using data collection methods related to research, such as books, journals related to research, and others. Data analysis in this study used literary content analysis techniques, because the object studied was poetry which was part of a literary work. Research Results on educational values of religious nationalism in Book of Negeri Daging: Kumpulan Puisi by KH. A. Mustofa Bisri succeeded in explaining several points, namely: (a) grouping poetry which had values of maintaining honor, maintaining unity, mutual help, tolerance, independence, good character, values of justice and equal treatment, fulfilling promises, compassion and preventing damage. (b) a more detailed explanation of the relevance of the educational values of religious nationalism in book of Negeri Daging: Kumpulan Puisi by KH. A. Mustofa Bisri on material, media, and current educational goals, especially in Islamic education.

Abstract

This article aimed to describe the types of language ability and skill evaluation tests, especially speaking skills in Indonesian language subjects for elementary school-age children. The writing of this article was carried out by means of literature study, namely collecting relevant information related to the topic that was the object of discussion. The background for this writing was because the portion for evaluating speaking competence in Indonesian language lessons at the elementary school level was still lacking. Evaluation in the field of elementary school Indonesian language lessons was more emphasized on aspects of reading and writing. Although in fact, language competence consists of at least 4 aspects, namely listening, reading, speaking and writing. The implementation and evaluation of learning Indonesian should refer to the fulfillment of the 4 competencies in a balanced portion and not be heavy on one of them. Evaluation of speaking competence could improve the quality of learning as a whole, both knowledge, concepts, values and the process of learning Indonesian in class. The form of speaking evaluation tests could be in the form of short talks based on pictures, interviews, retelling, free speech/speech, guided conversations, and discussions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru al-Qur’an Hadis dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 2 MI Sananul Ula Piyungan Bantul Yogyakarta di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) upaya guru mapel al-Qur’an Hadis kelas 2 MI Sananul Ula dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa tahun pelajaran 2020-2021, antara lain: penggunaan WhatsApp untuk memudahkan interaksi, dan mengatur kelas online dengan WhatsApp, (2) hasil upaya guru tersebut adalah berdasarkan nilai rapot yang peneliti dapatkan dari guru al-Qur’an Hadis kelas 2 MI Sananul Ula mununjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa siswi MI Sananul Ula semakin meningkat. Adapun faktor pendukung atas upaya yang dilakukan guru yaitu: (1) mudahnya pengguaan WhatsApp, (2) aplikasi ringan dan familiar, (3) keberadaan wali murid yang bersedia mendampingi anak belajar, (4) sumber belajar beragam tersedia dengan berbagai format, (5) koreksi hasil belajar menjadi fleksibel. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu: (1) sinyal di area pedesaan yang tidak stabil, (2) perangkat handphone atau laptop sering dipakai orang tua untuk bekerja, (3) perangkat handphone dipakai bergiliran dengan saudara yang juga mengerjakan tugas sekolah, (4) banyak grup WhatsApp, sehingga performa smartphone menurun, dan (5) siswa tergoda membuka hal selain yang terkait dengan pembelajaran.

Abstract

One significant reason for the low motivation among students is the lack of creative media in the learning process. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of audio-visual media in enhancing learning motivation in the Indonesian language subject for Grade III at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This field research, conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Ma’had An Nur Bantul, employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing or verification, with source triangulation ensuring data validity. The study's findings include the implementation of contextual teaching methods, delivery of Indonesian language material using concrete objects aided by audio-visual media, and positive student responses to these methods. The application of contextual teaching in the Indonesian language subject for Grade III led to students discovering the meaning of learning through direct experiences, becoming more active in learning, and showing significant development in literacy skills. This study underscores the importance of incorporating creative media, particularly audio-visual aids, to enhance student motivation and engagement in the learning process

Abstract

This article aims to describe the finding of community engagement of IIQ An Nur in the coastal women's group (KWP) Kukup Beach Yogyakarta in order to that they have economic resilience through halal certification training. Economic resilience for coastal communities has become a necessity, not just a wish. This is because the life of the coastal community depends on the economic life of the coastal potential and its development. For this reason, it is necessary to provide assistance to coastal communities in developing their environmental potential as well as training in packaging product and halal certification and subsequently they have products with high economic value. The method used in this community engagement is the PRA (participatory rural appraisal) method. The results of the community engagement show that through assistance with financial literacy, product packaging and halal certification, the amount of production and profits for the company can be increased and the marketing reach can be expanded. Apart from that, from the consumer side, there is a feeling of security and stability because the packaging for KWP Pantai Kukup Yogyakarta products looks more attractive and is halal certified.

Abstract

This research on the Arabic Pegon t-shirt was qualitative research based on Charles S. Pierce's semiotic theory, which revealed the existence of icons, indexes and symbols in every text and visual communication. Therefore, this research attempted to uncover the iconization, indexicality and symbolization contained in t-shirt designs that used Pegon Arabic script and find the meaning behind the use of these three aspects of language signs. This research data came from Arab Pegon t-shirts produced and marketed by a millennial at the “Galeri Sahaya” Pati outlet. This research concluded that the use of Pegon Arabic script on t-shirts was a representation of Indonesian cultural symbols, which were outlined in several t-shirt design themes, namely the themes of mahabbah (love), hubbul wathon (love of the homeland), syauq (longing), and adab (manners). The themes raised in the Arabic Pegon t-shirts were general (universal) themes that could be accepted by all groups and groups with the aim that the Arabic Pegon script could be known externally by all levels of society and revive the enthusiasm to care for the Islamic heritage of the archipelago.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the actualization of the Green school system in improving clean and healthy living behavior in students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 4 Gunungkidul Yogyakarta. This research was a field research using descriptive qualitative method. Sources of research data obtained from interviews, observation and documentation. The method of data analysis used the concept of Miles and Huberman and tests the validity of the data using source triangulation techniques. The research results were that the habituation of caring for the environment and living clean and healthy had been made into a school program, such as integration in all subjects, using nature as a learning medium, maintaining the classroom environment, the student obligations to bring food and drinking bottles from home, clean the environment around the school every Friday, recycling garbage, and commemorating environmental days. It made the students realize that protecting the environment also means maintaining the cleanliness and health of themselves, others, and their environment. From this habituation, students became accustomed to disposing of trash in its place according to the waste type, students were also used to picking up trash that was not in its place. In addition, students were also accustomed to washing their hands before and after activities. Factors supporting the implementation of the green school system included: strong motivation from teachers, village government and local government, supporting facilities and infrastructure, good cooperation, and conducive school locations and conditions. While the inhibiting factors were the lack of student discipline, lack of parental awareness, and the existence of the Covid-19 pandemic.
