Abstract

The purpose of this Research is to review the contribution level and the significance of the appreciation of history education, the internalization of Pancasila ideology and the internalization of religious values on creating the nationalism attitude. This research uses two approaches, which are quantitative and qualitative with concurrent embedded strategy. The primary in this research design is quantitative and qualitative as the secondary. The result of this research indicates the appreciation of history education, the internalization of Pancasila and the internalization of religious values. The importance of these roles can be discovered from 78.2% of contribution coefficient. The appreciation of history education contributes 27.84%, the internalization of Pancasila produces 14.39%, and the internalization of religious values brings 35.97%. The role of religious values on the appreciation of the building of nationalism attitude has a huge impact, bigger than the appreciation of history education and the internalization of Pancasila. Those three variables have role in the building of nationalism attitude which utilize as input material, that improving the student’s nationalism attitude can be conducted by enhancing the appreciation of history education, the internalization of Pancasila and the internalization of religious values about the life of society, nationhood, and statehood.

Abstract

Efforts to develop an attiude of nationalism in students within the multicultural life of the Indonesian people is not easy. There should be a strategic move. Integration curriculum between History, Civics, and Religion are needed. The values of teaching history contained within historical events can evoke nationalism. An understanding of Pancasila through Civics curricuum as a guide to behave in society, nation, and state can strengthen the love of the nation. An understanding of religious values can be the basis of the rule of truth, preserving the integrity of the state or nation and nationalism. Students' appreciation of the history of learning, understanding of Pancasila and religious values can improve the attitude of nationalism.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the impact of implementing the snowball throwing cooperative learning model with contextual media on the critical thinking skills and social skills of fifth-grade students. The study was conducted at SDN Sawaran Kulon 02 in Kecamatan Kedungjajang Kabupaten Lumajang. This research employs a quantitative approach using quasi-experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design. Two classes were involved class VA served as the experimental group, while class VB served as the control group. The research instruments used were social skills observation sheets and learning outcome tests. The analysis techniques included descriptive analysis, normality tests, paired sample t-tests, homogeneity tests, independent samples t-tests, N-Gain score tests, and independent t-tests for N-Gain scores. The results from the independent samples test yielded a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating a significant difference in the average learning outcomes between the experimental and control classes. It can be concluded that the implementation of the snowball throwing cooperative learning model with contextual media has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills and social skills.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, pengajaran mata pelajaran sejarah bagi siswa dituntut aktif dan kreatif, perlu adanya perbaikan yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif jenis NHT dengan media hypertext. Tujuannya adalah untuk menunjang pertumbuhan kreativitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Hopkins dengan 4 tahap setiap siklus yang dilakukan 3 siklus. Subyek penelitian adalah XI IPS 1 SMAN 1 Jenggawah dengan total 40 siswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Kreativitas diukur dengan 4 indikator sementara hasil belajar diukur dari siklus uji akhir. Hasil penelitian kreativitas pada peserta didik adalah: berfikir lancar berfikir 70%, berpikir fleksibilitas 72%, berpikir asli 75%, memikirkan elaborasi 72%. Hasil pembelajaran pada siklus 1 52,5%, siklus 2 76,31%, siklus 3 82,05%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan media hypertext dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan hasil pembelajaran sejarah. Manfaat dari penelitian ini terkait dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan media hypertext, kreativitas dan hasil belajar. Kata Kunci: Kooperatif Learning tipe NHT, Media Hypertext, Kreatifitas, Pencapaian Akademik
