Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the The Effect of Learning Guided Inquiry Small Research Against Student Science Process Skills on Bacteria Material in Senior Hight School NU Juntinyuat. The method used Posttest-Only Control Design. The population in this study is the class X.1 and X.2 Senior High School NU Juntinyuat in 2019/2020 school year and totaling 52 students. Samplingwas done by using cluster random sampling, were divided into 2 groups: Guided Inquiry model class with 26 students and other class are not using Guided Inquiry as many as 26 students. Instruments in this research is the description of science process skills, observation sheets and questionnaires for students. Hypothesis test using parametric statistical tests in this case to test thehypothesis of The Effect of Learning Guided Inquiry Small Research models to enhance the critical thinking skills using Manova test was obtained p <0.05 is 0.042 <0.05, which means there is an increased The Effect of Learning "Guided Inquiry Small Research"of critical thinking skills of students.Kata Kunci: guided inquiry, science process skills

Abstract

Pembelajaran kontekstual merupakan suatu konsep belajar yang membantu guru mengaitkan antara materi yang diajarkan dengan situasi dunia nyata dan mendorong siswa membuat hubungan pengetahuan yang dimilikinya dengan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dalam mata pelajaran IPA Terapan Sub Materi Sel melalui pendekatan CTL berbasis lembar kerja siswa (LKS). Penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang melibatkan siswa kelas X yang berjumlah 30 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, di mana setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahapan dan dilaksanakan dalam 3 kali pertemuan. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Aktivitas belajar siswa berada pada kategori aktif. Nilai rata-rata aktivitas siswa pada siklus I 31,59 (cukup aktif) dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 39,75 (kategori aktif) peningkatan sebesar 28,90%. Pada bagian hasil belajar siklus I 75,65 dan pada siklus II 87,45 berarti mengalami peningkatan sebesar 29,70%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) berbasis LKS dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar pada siswa kelas X SMK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis video yang dikembangkan oleh mahasiswa pada mata kuliah media pembelajaran biologi semester II. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D). Penelitian ini dikembangkan menggunakan acuan model 4D Thiagarajan (1974) dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu meliputi define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Pada penelitian ini hanya menggunakan tiga tahap pengembangan, yaitu define, design, dan develop. Dengan menggunakan teknik analisis kelayakan media pembelajaran video berbasis video dilihat dari hasil uji validasi ahli. Adapun  hasil uji validasi yang didapatkan oleh ahli menunjukkan rata-rata data kelayakan isi (materi) sebesar 75%, dan kelayakan media 83%. Hasil keseluruhan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis video layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran biologi pada materi cakupan biologi.

Abstract

The research was to analyze the improvement of students' reasoning students through the model Problem Based Learning (PBL) in terms of academic ability in high school. This research is a quasi experimental. This research was designed using a factorial design experiment. The study population was all students of class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Darma in the 2014/2015 school year as much as 5 classes. Sampling by using cluster random sampling technique. The research sample of grade XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 3 as an experimental class and XI IPA 2 as the control class. The collection of data with the test description, method of observation (assessment of performance capability of reasoning, observation sheets PBL, and self assessment) and documentation. Test the hypothesis by using parametric statistical tests in this case to test the hypothesis using the t test improvement was obtained p <0.05 is 0.044 <0.05, which means there is increasing students' reasoning skills and two-way ANOVA test to determine the application of PBL models include: (1 ) There are differences in reasoning abilities of students who apply models that do not apply the PBL and PBL models (p <0,05; 0,000 <0,05). (2) There is no difference in reasoning abilities of students based on academic ability (p> 0,05; 0,203> 0,05). (3) There is no interaction between the model PBL and academic skills with reasoning (p> 0,05; 0,981> 0,05).

Abstract

Insect is one of subject matter that has many concepts. In addition, the lack of teaching materials in the form of practicum worksheet that can make learning more meaningful and provide special skills for students. This will cause the emergence of cognitive load for students. Efforts to reduce the cognitive load on students is by developing a worksheet based on Vee diagram. The purpose of this research is to develop insect practicum worksheet based on Vee diagram to reduce the cognitive load of class X high school students, analyze the cognitive load and analyze the responses of teachers and students to insect practicum worksheet based on Vee diagram. This study uses a 4-D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The sampling technique of this study used purposive random sampling. Data collection techniques, including: tests, readability and feasibility rubrics, and questionnaire techniques. The study was conducted in SMA NU Widasari Indramayu. The percentage of overall validation is 96.09%, which means that insects practicum worksheet based on Vee diagram are very feasible to be used in the learning process. There is a decrease in cognitive load and positive student responses after developing the insects practicum worksheet.

Abstract

Research on The Effect of the STM Approach Against Student Learning Outcomes on the Ecosystem in Class two of Ma'arif Junior High School 2020/2021 Academic Year which is the main problem of the is study: is there an effect of the STM approach on student learning outcomes and how much influence it has. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of the STM approach to student learning outcomes. In accordance with these objectives, the research method in processing data is to use a quantitative approach through t test. The sample in this study were 91 students consisting of two classes, one control class of 46 people and one experimental class of 45 people. Data collection tools used in this study are objective test. Based on the analysis of data obtained an average for the control group (X = 5.326). While the average for the experimental group (X = 6.933) and the distribution normality test results showed that both of them were not normally distributed, then subsequently using non-parametric statistics, namely the Wilcoxon test so that the results obtained W hit < W table means that there are significant differences between the dick group with the experimental group and the degree of influence of E = 55.65%. Thus there is a significant difference in improving learning outcomes between those who use the STM approach, and those who do not use STM. This STM approach will be better understood by students, where students are very involved in the implementation of teaching and learning activities and the teacher is only a facilitator

Abstract

Sumber belajar sangatlah penting dalam proses belajar di sekolah. Desa Kedokanbunder memiliki keanekaragaman tanaman hias yang bisa digunakan sebagai sumber belajar materi keanekaragaman hayati biologi SMA kelas X. Untuk bisa digunakan sebagai sumber belajar perlu dikemas dalam sebuah buku berbentuk ensiklopedia yang berisi berbagai jenis tanaman hias. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman tanaman hias di desa Kedokanbunder dan mengimplementasikannya dalam sebuah buku berbentuk ensiklopedia. Metode penelitian ini mixed methods yaitu metode campuran menggunakan pendekatan penelitian yang mengombinasikan atau mengasosiasikan bentuk kualitatif dan bentuk kuantitatif. Untuk menghitung keanekaragaman yaitu menggunakan rumus Shannom-Wienner, hasil kenaekaragaman tanaman hias di desa Kedokanbunder menunjukan angka 2,5 yang masuk dalam kategori keanekaragaman sedang. Data yang peneliti temukan dikemas dalam sebuah ensiklopedia, untuk mengetahui kelayakan ensiklopedia sebagai sumber belajar, peneliti menggunakan angket kepada 4 validator sebagai ahli materi dan ahli bahasa, hasilnya semua validator menyatakan ensiklopedia ini layak digunakan dengan indikator nilai: validator 1 dosen biologi baik/68%, validator 2 dosen biologi sangat baik/86%, validator 3 guru biologi sangat baik/84% dan validator 4 guru bahasa Indonesia sangat baik/93%.
