Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the obstacles of UMKM in the production and marketing activities abon tuna fish and to determine the right marketing strategy to be implemented by UMKM abon tuna in Parepare City. Research on Marketing strategy to increase sales of Abon Tuna Fish in Parepare City was held in July 2017 located in the City of Parepare. Type of research is descriptive research. Sampling using sampling method saturated or census, where all study population used as a sample with the number of 12 UMKM abon tuna data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The method used in this research is SWOT analysis method. The data obtained are qualitative and quantitative data of respondents interview which then analyzed by using SWOT analysis method. The results showed that alternative marketing strategy appropriate to increase sales of Abon Tuna Fish at UMKM Abon Tuna Fish in Parepare City is a strategy of SO (strategy to utilize the strength of UMKM so as to seize the opportunity). The strategy that should be applied under these conditions is an aggressive strategy. In this case the power of UMKM can be utilized to obtain great opportunities.

Abstract

Strategy for the Development of Shellfish Shell Waste Management Business in the city of Parepare under the guidance of Nurhapsa and Arman Reeng. The purpose of this study was to identify external and internal factors in the development of agribusiness-based shellfish waste business in the city of Parepare as well as to determine the strategy of developing the shellfish waste handicraft business development in the city of Parepare. The research was conducted in September 2017 in the City of Parepare. This type of research is descriptive research. Sampling using saturated or census sampling methods, the number of samples is 6 Waste Shell Craft Business. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The analytical method used in this study is from the SWOT analysis. The results showed that internal factors (strengths and weaknesses) and external factors (opportunities and threats), the main strength factors were determined namely the presence of venture capital including light and the main weakness factor is the lack of marketing through social media, while the main opportunity factor is the presence of capital assistance from relevant agencies and the main threat factor is the high competition in the craft business in the same field. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, the right alternative strategy to use is S-O, which is a strategy that uses power to take advantage of opportunities. The results of the establishment of an alternative S-O strategy are to use the strength of low venture capital for shellfish waste handicraft business to take advantage of opportunities for capital assistance from agencies related to the shellfish waste handicraft business.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Maiwa district, Enrekang Regency, starting from June to August two thousand and eighteen. This study aims to determine the income of palm sugar craftsmen, analyzing the amount of production of palm sugar craftsmen and knowing the feasibility of farming the sugar palm craftsmen in Maiwa District, Enrekang Regency. This type of research uses quantitative research. The data used in this study consists of primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation and interviews directly with each respondent. The subjects of this research were 37 sugar palm craftsmen in Maiwa Subdistrict, Enrekang Regency. The results of this study indicate that the income obtained by palm sugar craftsmen every one time of production is Rp. 29.000 The value of R / C Ratio obtained is Rp. 1,16 based on criteria, if the R / C Ratio is > 1, then the palm sugar business is worth developing. R / C Ratio. 1,16 means that each use of infut is Rp. 1 can produce an output of 1,16, in other words the profit obtained is 1,16 Means that palm sugar business is economically intended and feasible to develop. From the results of data processing in palm sugar processing business during the production period (1 week) in the district Maiwa Enrekang Regency shows that the value of R / C Ratio obtained by palm sugar craftsmen on average 1,16 means that the business is economically feasible to cultivate, because every investment expenditure of Rp. 1, the result obtained is Rp. 1,16.

Abstract

Marketing plays an important role in a business that is run. The indicator of a product’s marketing success is a marketing channel that takes placeeffetively and efficinly. Pipper commodities are very important role in the Indonesian economy both as a source of income society and foreign exchange earners. The main target of pipper product’s in Indonesian today is for export so that the price is strongly influenced by the price of pipper in the world market. The purpose of this research is to know the marketing channel and efficiency of pipper marketing in Sanglepongan Village, Curio Sub District, Enrekang Regency. The basic method of descriptive research and its implementation by survey technique. Data used primer data and secondary data. Data collection techques are carried out by observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation.The results of this study indicate that are three marketing nhannels formed in the village of Sanglepongan namely :Channel I, II and III patterns where the efficiency level of pepper marketing is the most efficient in channel I pattern with a value of 0%. Channel II pattern with a value of 0,87%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors of production (capital, labor, Dragon Fruit prices, pesticide usage costs, land area, total production) on the income of Dragon Fruit farmers in Tottong Village, Donri-donri District, Soppeng Regency. The type of data used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study were then analyzed using SPSS 21 for Windows analysis tools. The variables used in this study are , namely capital, labor, Dragon Fruit prices, pesticide usage costs, land area, and total production. The results showed the variable price of Dragon Fruit and the amount of production had a significant effect on income while the variables of capital, labor, land area and costs of using pesticides had no effect on income. The results of the F test show their influence on the income of Dragon Fruit farmers. The results of the R square test show that 99.4% of the income of Dragon Fruit farmers can be explained by variables of capital, labor, Dragon Fruit prices, pesticide usage costs, land area and total production while 0.6% is influenced by other variables which are not measured in research
