The research method was an experiment with a One Group Pretest-posttest Design. The research sample amounted to 30 students. The research instrument was a learning journal to see the reflection of students and a learning motivation questionnaire to see the results of students' learning motivation. Data analysis used the Independent Sample t-test at a significant level of 0.05. The results showed that the use of learning journals with a value of tcount (2,342) ttable (2,000). The highest learning journal aspect is the indicator of material understanding with a value of 3.68. The value of students' learning motivation with a value of tcount (6,254) ttable (2,000). The highest learning motivation aspect is on the relevance indicator with a value of 2.88. Abstract

It is appropriate to instill IMTAQ values in science, especially biology, so that students not only understand scientific facts, but also the divine meanings in them. This research aims to determine the feasibility of a biology module integrating IMTAQ values with a problem based learning approach to the environmental pollution sub-material. This module development research refers to the EDDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations). The subjects of this research were 30 students of the Biology Education Study Program, Muhammadiyah University of Aceh. The data collection instrument used an IMTAQ-based biology learning module feasibility questionnaire. From the research results, the percentage of module validation by material experts was 78,13% (quite valid). Meanwhile, the percentage of material validation in the area of integration of IMTAQ values was 83.5% (very valid)., and the percentage of modules by media experts was 77,17% (quite valid). The student assessment of the module obtained a percentage of 81,40% which means that the module is suitable for use as teaching material. The average N-Gain score was 0,86  which means in the high category.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effectiveness of project-based learning with the theme "Synergy of Ecosystems and Alternative Energy" in improving 21st century skills and conceptual understanding of class X students of MAS Insan Qur'ani. The problems raised are low student engagement and lack of development of 21st century skills in conventional learning. The study was conducted in February 2025 with 136 students as subjects through total sampling techniques. Data were collected using student activity observation sheets, student response questionnaires, and work exhibition assessments. The analysis was carried out descriptively quantitatively using percentage techniques. The results showed that students were active, creative, able to work together, understand concepts, and show high responsibility, with an average activity score of 85.2%. Student responses were also very positive, with the highest score in the aspect of exhibition benefits (91%). Project exhibitions such as terrariums, dioramas, and solar panels became an authentic means of displaying understanding and innovation, with terrariums getting the highest score (average 89.6). In conclusion, project-based learning is effective in improving students' engagement, conceptual understanding, and critical thinking skills, collaboration, communication, and creativity in a meaningful and contextual manner
