Abstract

The Indonesian capital market consists of several sectors, including the food and beverage sector. Until now, there has been no research focused on manufacturing companies in that sector. The method employed in this study is associative quantitative research. Data collection is conducted by accessing financial statement documents from www.idx.co.id for the period 2020-2022. For data analysis, the researcher uses methods such as multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination, t-test, and F-test. The research sample comprises 31 companies with data spanning 3 years, selected through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that the profitability ratio has a significant impact on stock prices, with company size acting as a moderator that moderates the influence of profitability on stock prices in Food and Beverage Sector Manufacturing Companies listed on the IDX in 2020-2022, amounting to 14.2%. The moderator variable can strengthen the impact of profitability variables on stock prices.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of narrow money (M1), broad money (M2) and exchange rates on the profitability of KBMI 1 and 2 banks. This research is quantitative research that relies on numerical data. This study is crucial to deliver valuable informations to investors and management of company. The method of data analysis in this paper is carried out quantitatively which will be measured using statistics through SPSS version 27. The data used in this study is secondary data from January 2018 - December 2023 at KBMI 1 and 2 banks. Based on this study, it can be summarized that M1 and M2 have significant effect to ROA for KBMI 1 Banks. Exchange rate has significant effect to ROA for KBMI 2 Banks. The monetary authority really needs to maintain economic stability by making good monetary policy. This will also have an impact on increasing profitability in the banking sector in Indonesia. The findings of this study can help investors, policy makers, and other stakeholders in making decision and improving the bank performance in the future. This study has several limitations, there’s no investigation further of Return on Asset of the other countries such as developing and developed countries. Researchers who want to conduct research with the same theme are expected to use other variables more specific to Return on Asset. It is hoped that further research will pay attention to other factors that can effect Return on Asset of banking companies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, likuiditas dan profitabilitas terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor tekstil dan garmen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Adapun jenis penelitian dengan metode kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60. Maka penulis menarik kesimpulan bahwa kepemilikan manajerial dan likuiditas secara parsial berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor teksil dan garmen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sedangkan kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor tekstil dan garmen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Kemudian profitabilitas berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap financial distress pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor tekstil dan garmen yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. 5) Kepemilikan Manajerial, Kepemilikan Institusional, Likuiditas, dan Profitabilitas berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap financial distress.

Abstract

Food and Beverage Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) are companies engaged in the processing and distribution of food and beverage products, whose shares are traded on the Indonesian capital market. This study aims to determine the effect of Capital Structure, Cash Flow, Market Value Added, and Net Profit Margin on Stock Returns of food and beverage companies listed on the IDX for the period 2020–2022. The population of this study includes all food and beverage companies listed on the IDX during the 2020–2022 period, totaling 40 companies. The number of samples used in this study is 23 companies over a period of 3 years, resulting in a total of 69 research samples. The results of the study partially show that Debt to Equity Ratio has a negative and insignificant effect on Stock Returns, Operating Cash Flow has no significant effect on Stock Returns, Market Value Added has a positive and significant effect on Stock Returns, and Net Profit Margin has no significant effect on Stock Returns. Meanwhile, simultaneously, Debt to Equity Ratio, Operating Cash Flow, Market Value Added, and Net Profit Margin have a positive and significant effect on Stock Returns.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of NPM, ROA, capital structure and CR on share prices in manufacturing companies in the basic industrial and chemical sectors listed on the IDX. The sample used was 28 companies out of 73 companies listed during the 2019-2022 period. The analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS application tools. From the statistical tests carried out, it was found that ROA partially had a significant positive effect on share prices, NPM and capital structure partially had no significant effect on share prices, CR partially had a significant negative effect on share prices. Meanwhile, simultaneously NPM, ROA, capital structure and CR have a significant effect on stock prices listed on the IDX.

Abstract

Entrepreneurial character plays a crucial role in shaping a creative, innovative, and independent young generation. One effective way to cultivate this character is through the utilization of handicrafts. This community service activity explores the impact of handicrafts, specifically through direct training in making tumbler bags, in fostering entrepreneurial characteristics among young people. Conducted at SMA Pangeran Antasari, located on Jalan Veteran No. 1060/19, Helvetia, Labuhan Deli District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, this initiative demonstrates that involvement in handicraft-making encourages self-reliance, creativity, and economic awareness—essential traits for future entrepreneurs. By leveraging handicrafts as a medium for entrepreneurship, young people can develop valuable skills that empower them to build sustainable businesses and contribute to economic growth.

Abstract

Tax avoidance is one of the efforts to minimize the tax burden that is often done by companies. There are several factors that affect a company in conducting tax avoidance including, company age, profitability, leverage and company size. This study used a quantitative approach. Quantitative data regarding information about the variables studied in the form of numbers or numbers, it can be concluded that the age of the company, profitability, laverage, company size affect the tax avoidance variable simultaneously. The study selected 10 companies as samples during 2018-2021. Therefore, the number of observations obtained is 40 observations. The results of this research analysis can be concluded that company age, profitability, laverage, company size have a positive effect on tax avoidance.
