Abstract

To Sukorejo The City of Matoa, Sukorejo subdistrict always distributes Matoa tree seedlings from year to year, which is spread in 19 villages, one of which is the Scissors village which is the first ring in spreading Matoa tree seedlings. However, Gunting villagers still do not know more about the types or benefits of these Matoa trees and fruits. This program takes the theme of entrepreneurship which will be implemented in Gunting village of Sukorejo Sub-district of Pasuruan Regency using the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method. The purpose of this program is to increase the understanding of Gunting village community on the use of Matoa trees and fruits so that they have high economic value. The results of this program are the community ranging from adults to children more familiar with Matoa fruit and Matoa trees, as well as variants of products from processed Matoa fruit. In addition to these results, this assistance also resulted in an attractive way of packaging products, as well as an understanding of the procedures for obtaining products that have SNI standards

Abstract

The potential of fishpond aquaculture in Pasuruan Regency will have more value if it is balanced with the ability of Human Resources to process the fishery products into products that have added value, especially for women, most of whom still do not have economic independence. The purpose of this community service is to find out how to empower coastal women in processing of fish farming in coastal areas in Gerongan Village, Kraton Subdistrict, Pasuruan Regency.The method used in assisting coastal women in fish processing to increase added value in Gerongan village, Kraton sub-district of Pasuruan Regency is to use the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method approach. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was carried out to obtain the initial data needed in this community service program by actively involving all parties, namely lecturers and students of the University of Yudharta Pasuruan as well as the community in Gerongan Village, Kraton Subdistrict, Pasuruan Regency. From this empowerment, coastal women are expected to be able to improve their skills in processing fish products from fishpond ponds so that they can increase their productive farming efforts and have a role in helping to increase income to meet family needs.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze Pentahelix's synergy in implementing halal product certification for Micro, Small Enterprises (UMK) at the Purwosari UMKM Center (SEKAR). The increasingly urgent need for halal products in the global market makes halal certification an important aspect for the competitiveness of MSEs. Through a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, this research will investigate the interactions and roles of each Pentahelix pillar—government, micro and small industry players, academics, the SME community, and mass media—in supporting the implementation of halal certification for MSE products in the SEKAR community. The results of this research can provide in-depth insight into the contribution of each pillar and develop policy recommendations to strengthen the halal certification ecosystem for MSE products in the Purwosari MSME center. This research contributes to the literature on Pentahelix synergy and the implementation of halal certification at the Micro and Small Business level in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study 1) to determine the phenomenon of self-declaring halal certification for food and beverage product MSME actors in Pasuruan 2) to understand the knowledge of the self-declaring halal certification concept for food and beverage product MSME actors in Pasuruan 3) to prove self-declaring for MSME’s halal certification, food and beverage products can increase awareness of halal certification in Pasuruan . This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach to describe and understand the essence of the experience of MSME in food and beverage products conducting halal certification through the self-declaring route in Pasuruan Regency. The results of this study indicate that there are 3 typologies in the self-declaring phenomenon of halal certification for food and beverage product MSME actors in Pasuruan Regency, namely 1) food and beverage product MSME actors who state that they understand self-declaring halal certification, 2) food and beverage product MSME actors typology. and beverages stating that they do not understand self-declaring halal certification and 3) typology of food and beverage product MSME actors who state that they do not understand self-declaring halal certification with various arguments based on the level of understanding and experience felt by each food and beverage product MSME actor. drinks in Pasuruan Regency. It can be concluded that a good understanding, experience in applying for halal certification and intense assistance from halal product companions will increase awareness of halal certification through the self-declaring pathway for food and beverage product MSME actors in Pasuruan Regency.

Abstract

Since the enactment of the Halal Product Guarantee Law on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the number of MSMEs that are halal-certified in Pasuruan Regency has experienced a rapid increase. This situation indicates that the halal certification of MSME products has an important position in society. The purpose of this study was to find out Halal Certification for Strengthening Product Branding of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Pasuruan Regency. The research method used is qualitative research with an instrumental case study approach because you want to understand or emphasize an understanding of an issue or reformulate a theoretical explanation. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis in this study uses qualitative data analysis, and the results of this study emphasize meaning rather than generalization. The stages in this research were first, formulating the problem as the focus of research, second, collecting data in the field, third, analyzing data, and fourth formulating the results of a study on Halal Certification for Strengthening MSME Product Branding in Pasuruan Regency. The results showed that the halal certification of MSME products in Pasuruan Regency did not yet have the power of branding from consumer perceptions, due to several indicators, namely brand awareness, brand associations, perceived quality and consumer brand loyalty. MSME products that are halal certified are still low. The low level of these indicators is due to differences in education levels, environmental conditions, and low knowledge of halal certification.

Abstract

The Impact of Technology on Shopping Behavior and the Competition between Traditional Markets and Shopee Technological advancements, particularly in the current digital age, have significantly impacted people's lifestyles, including their shopping habits. The emergence of e-commerce and online platforms like Shopee has transformed the way consumers purchase goods and has also affected the existence of traditional markets. In this context, the competition between traditional markets and Shopee has become increasingly fierce, with diverse consequences for businesses in both markets. Business competition involves sellers vying for profit, market share, and sales volume. Typically, sellers strive to outperform competitors by differentiating their prices, products, distribution channels, and promotional strategies. In Islam, competition is permissible, but it should be conducted ethically and fairly. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the dynamics of competition between Wonokusumo Traditional Market in Surabaya and the online platform Shopee. It further investigates the impact of Shopee's presence on the traditional market and its vendors and aims to identify solutions that can enhance the sustainability of traditional markets amidst the competition with e-commerce.

Abstract

This Halal certification is the process of obtaining halal certification through several levels of inspection to prove that the raw materials, manufacturing processes, and halal product assurance system of a company meet the established standards. Halal certification guarantees the benefit and well-being of the community. This research aims to examine the importance of halal certification in improving the marketing of culinary Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and the impact of marketing MSME products after being certified halal, specifically cassava tape, in Kampung Tape, Candi Binangun Village, Sukorejo, Pasuruan Regency.The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through surveys, interviews, and observations. The results showed that halal certification plays an important role in increasing consumer confidence and opening up new market opportunities for MSMEs. The halal certification process is relatively easy to do online and free of charge, with support from the village government. After halal certification, cassava tape marketing experienced an increase in turnover and product attractiveness. MSME actors consistently use halal-certified raw materials to support business growth. Thus, halal certification has a positive impact on improving the marketing of culinary MSMEs in Kampung Tape, expanding market share, and increasing product competitiveness in the halal food and beverage industry.
