Abstract

Based on the evidence of the results of the education report card on the performance of elementary school teachers in the Secang District, Magelang Regency, there are several recommendations for improvement in the form of principal policies related to matters of motivation, leadership, and school infrastructure to be improved. This study is to determine the effect of teaching motivation, principal leadership, and availability of infrastructure facilities on teacher performance, which can be used as a study material for related parties in determining the right strategy to improve the quality of primary school teacher performance. The method used This type of research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The results of this study found: (1) there is a positive and significant influence of teaching motivation on teachers‘ performance; (2) there is a positive influence between principals’ leadership on teachers‘ performance; (3) there is a positive and significant influence between the availability of infrastructure facilities and teachers’ performance; and (4) there is an influence between work motivation, principals' leadership, and the availability of infrastructure facilities together have a positive and significant influence on the performance of primary school teachers in Secang sub-district.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, peran petugas, dan ketersediaan sarana dengan perilaku pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga di Kelurahan Kedaung Kali Angke, Jakarta Barat. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional, dilakukan pada bulan November 2023, dengan 84 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik Cluster Simple Consecutive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan (p=0,000) dan ketersediaan fasilitas (p=0,001) memiliki hubungan dengan perilaku pengelolaan sampah. Upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketersediaan fasilitas sangat penting dalam memperbaiki perilaku pengelolaan sampah.---This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, the role of officers, and the availability of facilities with household waste management behavior in Kedaung Kali Angke Village, West Jakarta. The research used a cross-sectional design and was conducted in November 2023, involving 84 respondents selected using the Cluster Simple Consecutive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results showed that knowledge (p=0.000) and the availability of facilities (p=0.001) were related to waste management behavior. Efforts to improve knowledge and the availability of facilities are crucial in enhancing household waste management behavior.

Abstract

The result of this study show that the English teacher used techniques SQ3R (survey or skimming, questioning, read, recall and review) and scanning in teaching. The implementation into students ability, the teacher used three-phase stages in reading they are: pre reading activity, whilst reading activity, and post reading activity. whereas  the strength and weaknesses of the techniques, the teacher used the same techniques in teaching reading to make easier for students. It is to make student more attracted because the teacher always give them motivation in guidance and the teacher also help the students to increase their ability in pronunciation. Moreover, the researcher found in weaknesses of this technique sometimes the students felt bored because they got the same techniques used by the teacher. Therefore, it is suggested the teacher  use these techniques in teaching reading comprehension, Finally the researcher suggested that the teacher should always give the motivation and the teacher combines the techniques so that the students can easily understand the lesson that the teacher teaches, it means that the teacher has made the students perform better in their learning activity.

Abstract

Peristiwa fisiologis pada saat persalinan terkadang dapat menimbulkan trauma pada ibu karena nyeri yang dialaminya. Beberapa ibu bahkan ada yang trauma untuk hamil lagi karena takut akan mengalami nyeri yang sama. Bagi ibu yang pernah melahirkan, nyeri persalinan yang paling menyakitkan apalagi bagi ibu-ibu yang baru pertama kali merasakannya. Nyeri pada persalinan apabila tidak diatasi maka akan meningkatkan rasa khawatir, tegang, takut dan stress. Tekhnik untuk pengurangan intensitas nyeri ibu bersalin multipara diterapkan metode masase punggung dengan effluerage. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik pijatan pada punggung terhadap pengurangan intensitas nyeri ibu bersalin kala I. Metode penelitian yang diambil merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yaitu quasi-experimental design dengan rancangan pre and posttest one group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu 30 orang ibu bersalin. Pengukuran nyeri menggunakan Skala Analog Visual (VAS). Hasil pengukuran menggunakan uji paired test. Rata- rata nyeri sebelum diberikan intervensi adalah 5,53 dengan kategori nyeri berat, setelah diberikan intervensi turun menjadi 3,50 dengan kategori sedang. Sedangkan selisih penurunannya didapatkan mean delta 2,03. Berdasarkan uji statistik menggunakan uji paired test didapatkan p-value 0,000 yang berarti ada pengaruh tehnik pijatan pada punggung terhadap pengurangan intensitas nyeri ibu bersalin kala I. Ada pengaruh tehnik pijatan pada punggung terhadap pengurangan intensitas nyeri ibu bersalin kala I.
