Abstract

Lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the main task of transforming, developing, and disseminating science, technology, and art through education, research, and community service. The problem in this research is that the process of selecting the best thesis lecturer is still subjective without considering the criteria and weighting factors and is also done manually resulting in the selection process being less effective and efficient. The method used in this research is the Composite Performance Index (CPI). Methods of data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation. From this research, the result is that the CPI method can help in selecting the best thesis supervisor and also the first rank is A6 with a value of 500, the second rank is A4 with a value of 470, and the third rank is A2 with a value of 445.

Abstract

The form of computer network connection can be via cable or wireless such as fiber optic, microwave, wireless, or satellite. One type of computer network that is often used to connect personal computers and workstations in an office or an organization, company or factory for the use of shared resources is a local area network. The purpose of this research is to analyze, design and create an application that can detect damage to Local Area Network (LAN) networks. The research method used is backward chaining. The results of this study are applications that can detect damage to local area networks using the web-based backward chaining method. With this expert system application, it can speed up and make it easier to detect damage to Local Area Network networks.

Abstract

The process of exchanging information between schools and parents can affect the process of children's educational performance, especially the role of the family, because the family is the person who influences the child's development. However, not a few parents are busy at work, especially career parents who have children so that a good communication process can be neglected. This is a concern for the author to bridge the exchange of information between schools, children and parents so that there is no distance that can lead to errors or information about children at school so that parents can continue to monitor the development of children's education using the platform that the author created anytime and anywhere. The purpose of this research is to help link information about children's development at school not to stop or stop in the school environment, but parents can also participate in knowing the activities their children are doing at school by monitoring their children's performance or performance at school through a platform that can be accessed easily. especially for students at the elementary level, namely elementary and junior high schools because basic education is a general indicator that can be used to see the level of intelligence of the nation. The method that the author uses to carry out system analysis and design is application design using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The results of this research are monitoring applications that are made to make it easier for the school to carry out teaching and learning activities as well as parents who monitor the development and activities of their children at school. It can facilitate access to exchange of information from school to parents and vice versa so that there are no gaps or miss information with parents and easily see the number of students, value recap, and student spp payment reports. parents are also very helpful because they can easily monitor their child's performance at school, both academic and non-academic, parents can also consult with relevant teachers if their child has problems at school and parents can also see the daily agenda and will also get notifications about the status of tuition payments.

Abstract

Thesis is a scientific work written by undergraduate students that discusses a particular topic or field based on the results of a literature review written by experts, the results of field research, or the results of development (experiments). The problem in this research is that the process of selecting the best thesis is still subjective without regard to other criteria and is also done manually which makes the selection process less efficient. The purpose of this research is to create a system for selecting the best student thesis. The method used in this research is the Composite Performance Index (CPI). Methods of data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation. The results of this study are the Composite Performance Index (CPI) method can be used for selecting the best student thesis and the results obtained for the first rank are A1 with a value of 218.75, the second rank is A2 with a value of 198.75 and the third rank is A4 with a value of 178.75.

Abstract

Human needs for a more practical life are met by technological advances, one of which is in the health sector. This is the background of this research. By utilizing NodeMCU and Arduino Uno as microcontrollers for the IoT-based Smart Home system at the DKI Jakarta Health Office, it is hoped that the value of efficiency and security can be achieved through the implementation of an IoT-based Smart Home system. In this study, NodeMCU is used as a microcontroller in an IoT-based smart home system. Telegram Messenger is used in the design of this system as an input or notification medium. The chat input data is read out by the program for verification when the chat comes in. If verification fails, the system does not respond, and the chat input is reprogrammed. Conversely, if the lever is successful, the BOT will respond and send an input signal to the microcontroller to manage. After the microcontroller has processed the input signal, it will send an output signal (On/Off) to the relay, which will then send it to the output components (solenoid door lock, type sensor, and buzzer). take advantage of the technology that is already available by placing a Smart Home system that uses the Internet of Things. Since only those with certain access can control the home, such as viewing type sensors and unlocking doors remotely, IoT-based Smart Home systems are also secure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui prosedur sistem informasi berjalan dan mendesain sistem informasi ekspedisi cargo laut serta dapat memberikan solusi yang mencakup aktivitas pendataan costumer dan data muatan, invoicing, pembuatan perjanjian angkutan laut serta berita acara serah-terima muatan.Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik analisisentity-relationship model (ERM) dan system development life cycle (SDLC) dengan model air terjun (waterfall). Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan observasi dan wawancara terstukrtur kepada sekretaris dan pimpinan perusahaan. Simpulan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sistem informasi ekspedisi cargo laut dapat membantu dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang terdapat di perusahaan tersebut.

Abstract

The banking world in terms of providing credit to customers is a regular activity that has a large effect. In its application, non-performing loans or bad loans are often created due to poor credit analysis in the credit granting process, or from bad customers. The purpose of this study is to compare the results of algorithm accuracy between K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN), Decision Tree, and Naive Bayes which results in the best accuracy will be implemented to determine creditworthiness. The attributes used in this study consisted of 11 attributes, namely marital status, number of dependents, age, last education, occupation, monthly income, home ownership, collateral, loan amount, length of loan and information as result attributes. The methods used in this research are K-Nearest Neighbor, Decision Tree, and Naive Bayes. From the results of evaluation and validation using k-5 fold that has been carried out using RapidMiner tools, the highest accuracy results from a comparison of 3 algorithms is using a decision tree (C4.5) of 98% in the 3rd test.

Abstract

Technology that combines computer technology and telecommunications technology has changed the way of life of individuals and organizations in carrying out business activities or carrying out daily activities. The ability of communication between one organization and other organizations in different places (separated at great distances) is one of the characteristics of the coming era of globalization. The problems that exist in PT. YGI is the absence of a system that can provide marketing information to consumers. This research was conducted to gather information about marketing marketing costs, promotions, rebates, general costs and costs of branch operating funds to make decisions that are more effective, efficient, and easier for management . The author uses the method of collecting data through observation and interviews and based on theories derived from several books or journals related to the method of system design using object-oriented design methods. The results of the design and development of marketing information system marketing analysis design at PT. YGI Area Sumatra can provide solutions to problems faced in the product sales process as well as product marketing solutions for companies so that ordering products from customers increases and relationships increase. With the design of marketing information systems marketing costs can develop and publish products properly and can be seen by consumers as clearly as possible.

Abstract

The banking world in terms of lending to customers is routine activities that are at high risk. In its execution, the problematic credit or bad credit is often due to the lack of careful credit analysis in the process of granting credit, as well as from poor customers. The purpose of this study is to implement data mining to assist in conducting credit analysis process in order to produce the right information whether the customer who will apply for the credit is worthy or not to be able to see the potential payment by the customer. The attributes used in this study consist of 11 attributes i.e. marital status, number of liabilities, age, last education, occupation, monthly income, home ownership, warranties, loan amount, length of loan and description as a result attribute. The methods of data collection used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The method used in this study is K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN). From the results of evaluation and validation using the K-5 fold that has been done using the RapidMiner tools obtained the highest accuracy results from the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method of 93.33% in the 5th test.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) plays an important role for the sustainability of higher education therefore xyz universities in conducting the process of selection of employees requires a truly competent employee in their respective fields. The problem in this study is that the selection process of employees is still subjective not based on pure test results and there is no proper method in employee acceptance. The purpose of this research is to get the right staff according to the needs of the college. There are five criteria that will be used in this study are education, work experience, psychotest scores, age, and interview scores. The data collection methods used in this study are interviews, library studies, and observations. The research methods used are the Exponential Comparison Method (MPE) and for the calculation of mpe methods using the python programming language. The result of this study is that mpe method can be applied to determine the admission of employees at xyz college.
