Abstract

A company in carrying out business activities or business activities, generally what the company must pay attention to is customer orientation, which concerns what the company must satisfy its customers. High company performance and service quality provided by a business and services are the most important factors for customer satisfaction. Companies must pay attention to things that are considered important by consumers and customers so that they are satisfied according to their expectations. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and brand image on customer satisfaction at PT Adira Finance Cimanggis branch. The number of respondents is 100 customers of PT Adira Finance. The analysis technique uses multiple regression analysis. The results showed that, there was no significant effect between Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction, there was a significant positive effect between Brand Image on Customer Satisfaction. Taken together, there is an influence between Service Quality and Brand Image on Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

Digital literacy is crucial in maritime education as it significantly enhances lecturers' competence in the learning process. This study investigates the impact of digital literacy and self-efficacy on the use of ICT in universities under the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia. It specifically aims to: (1) examine how lecturers' digital literacy influences ICT use in teaching, (2) explore the impact of lecturers' self-efficacy on ICT integration, and (3) analyze the combined effect of digital literacy and self-efficacy on ICT use in these educational institutions. Conducted in 2023, this quantitative study utilized a survey method with data collected from 100 lecturers through online questionnaires (Google Forms). Data were analyzed using inferential statistics, including regression analysis, focusing on variables such as lecturer self-efficacy, digital literacy, and ICT use. Results indicate that: (1) lecturers' digital literacy significantly affects ICT use in maritime education, (2) lecturers' self-efficacy also plays a crucial role, and (3) the combined influence of digital literacy and self-efficacy is significant in enhancing ICT utilization in maritime colleges and polytechnics within the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation.

Abstract

PT. Dian Ciptamas Agung is a company engaged in the shipping industry as a provider of freight services by using the vessel and barge tugboat. Based on the data on the existing problems discussing the work accident on the vessel owned by PT. Dian Ciptamas Agung and the efforts made by the company in minimizing the work accident that occurred. Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas terjadinya exhaust valve knocking pada mesin induk kapal MV. PAN IVY selama pelaksanaan praktik kerja laut (Prala) oleh peneliti bersama perusahaan POS SM CO., LTD selama 11 bulan 27 hari, dari 22 Agustus 2021 hingga 18 Agustus 2022. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dengan kru mesin, serta analisis dokumen teknis seperti instruction manual book dan engine log book. Data diperoleh dari sumber primer dan sekunder untuk mendukung validitas analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa exhaust valve knocking disebabkan oleh dua faktor utama: (1) keausan pada guide ring dan sealing ring akibat penggunaan suku cadang non-asli dan masuknya udara kontrol yang mengandung air ke dalam ruang silinder; (2) kerusakan pada permukaan exhaust valve seat dan spindle yang diakibatkan oleh udara bilas yang tercemar air dari intercooler serta pengabaian running hour oleh kru mesin. Dengan penanganan yang tepat terhadap kedua penyebab tersebut, kinerja mesin induk dapat ditingkatkan dan operasional kapal berjalan lebih optimal.
