Abstract

Ciburial tourist village is a village that has a beautiful landscape and an interesting cultural diversity. Various kinds of tourism potential are divided into several parts, namely cultural and artistic tourism, culinary tourism, and nature tourism. Judging from its natural and cultural conditions, Ciburial tourism village has the potential to be developed as an Edutourism. Based on these conditions, the purpose of the community service program is in the form of training on understanding Edutourism, the potential that can be explored as Edutourism, and steps for implementing Edutourism. The service method is carried out in several ways, namely observation to identify the potential of Edutourism, interviews with various sources, and training provided to the community regarding Edutourism. Based on the results it was found that the potential that could be developed into Edutoursim was culinary and cultural tourism, namely honey cultivation, tofu factories, and also bamboo crafts. After knowing the potential for edutourism in Ciburial, the concrete implementation steps that need to be taken next are planning, execution, continuous development, and cooperation. Cooperation with partners and also educational institutions need to be established to increase the level of visits to the Ciburial Tourism Village

Abstract

Taman Lalu Lintas Ade Irma Suryani Nasution is one of the first traffic-themed educational attractions in Indonesia with the concept of a theme park. The purpose of making this park is to increase traffic safety awareness for young children. This research was conducted to find out the tourist attractions in the park, and the implementation of child-friendly aspects considering that the main target of this park is children aged 0-13 years. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation, documentation, and interviews. The results show that the tourist attraction in the park follows the concept of educational tourism which presents attractions and facilities regarding basic traffic that can be learned by visiting tourists by learning while playing. As well as the existence of child-friendly indicators that are applied to the implementation of educational tourism at Taman Lalu Lintas Ade Irma Suryani Nasution by looking at the factors of Safety, Health, Comfort, Flexibility, Security, and Aesthetics which can make tourists feel free to travel in Taman Lalu Lintas Ade Irma Suryani Nasution.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the psychological factors and mental health conditions of tourists visiting Wana Wisata Ranca Upas, as well as to understand the efforts made by the management to facilitate tourists in engaging in mental health recovery activities (healing). The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study analysis. The variables used are psychological factors and mental health. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that there are various psychological factors underlying tourists' motivations to visit Wana Wisata Ranca Upas, including the desire to engage in healing activities, FOMO (fear of missing out), and quality time with a partner. Furthermore, regarding mental health, tourists reported experiencing changes in their mental health condition. Before visiting Wana Wisata Ranca Upas, their mental condition was considered poor, but after visiting, their mental health significantly improved. Additionally, efforts made by the management to facilitate tourists' healing activities have been quite good, but there are shortcomings in its implementation, namely the lack of effective promotion of the healing forest program. Therefore, the management needs to intensify promotion, maintain consistency in destination management, continue to innovate by creating new programs in line with trends, create innovative healing activity packages, and collaborate with more travel agents.

Abstract

The implementation of tourism requires the ability of good service providers in terms of interacting with visitors.  Especially if the tourist destination is a destination that has the potential to receive guests/visitors from various nations. So in providing services to tourists, it is necessary to master English and Hospitality communication, which prioritizes hospitality. This study aims to determine the mastery of English and also the implementation of hospitality communication in museum guide services. The method used is descriptive qualitative by describing the depth of the data. Data collection was carried out in 3 ways: observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires to 20 respondents consisting of museum guides and educators. The results of the study found that the guides' mastery of English in terms of the 4 speaking elements was in the "quite good" category with an average of 3.28. From the application of hospitality communication, it was found that museum guides had carried out courtesy in the excellent category with an average of 4.63 and an understanding of grooming in the good category with an average of 3.22.Â
