Abstract

Rewards are given to motivate someone because there is an assumption that by giving gifts for good behavior and work results, he will maintain a good attitude and work more optimally, especially if the prize given is a tempting prize. Conversely, punishment is given to motivate someone not to make a mistake in carrying out something This study aims to determine the effect of Reward and Punishment on class X students at SMK al-Munawwir Krapyak. This study used a quantitative approach, with a sample of 24 students in class X at SMK al-Munawwir Krapyak. The results showed that: reward had a positive and significant effect on the motivation to learn Arabic in class X students at SMK al-Munawwir Krapyak, punishment had a positive and significant effect on motivation to learn Arabic in class X students at SMK al-Munawwir Krapyak.

Abstract

Effective communication between teachers and students is a key element in creating meaningful learning experiences. One approach that can enhance the quality of teacher communication is Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which offers practical techniques to understand and influence thought patterns and behavior. This study aims to examine the relevance of NLP to teachers' communication patterns in learning through a descriptive qualitative approach using literature review methods. The focus is on three NLP techniques: rapport, reframing, and modeling. The results show that rapport helps teachers build emotional closeness and trust with students, reframing enables the transformation of negative perceptions into positive ones during learning, and modeling encourages learning through the emulation of successful strategies and behaviors. These three techniques strengthen the role of the teacher as an inspiring and empowering communicator. This study recommends that teachers participate in NLP training to gain deeper understanding and practical skills for applying this approach effectively in educational settings

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the contents of listening and reading skills in the Arabic textbook “Durus al-Lughah al-Arabiyah.” This study was conducted qualitatively and employed a descriptive analysis technique. The population was the Arabic textbook which applied 2013 Curriculum for the tenth graders at the Islamic senior high schools. Data collection procedures involved making the checklist, analyzing the contents of the textbook, coding, tabulating data, and concluding. The research found both listening and reading skill materials in the textbook was sufficient according to Abd al-Rahman al-Fauzan. However, there were still some weaknesses. There were no introductory materials about the sound and the introduction of the long and short vowels. In addition, the CD/recording was unavailable for listening. Lastly, there was no picture in each title to help students’ comprehension. But, the content of listening and reading skills in the textbook were relevant to 2013 Curriculum for Arabic language subject.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh siswa kelas VII SMP Islam Al – Muchtar Bekasi yang kurang memahami pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Metode latihan ini merupakan salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa melalui kegiatan yang menarik dan menyenangkan serta dapat membangkitkan semangat siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode dril dalam penguasaan kosakata bahasa arab di kelas VII SMP Islam Al – Muchtar di bekasi (2) untuk mengetahui seberapa keefektifan metode dril. dalam pemerolehan kosakata bahasa arab pada kelas tujuh di SMP Islam Al – Muchtar bekasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Metode pemilihan data dalam penelitian ini: observasi, wawancara, dokumen, hasil pre dan post test. Hasil uji-t digunakan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan antara dua sampel. Dari data tersebut diperoleh t-tabel yang ditetapkan sebesar 2,060 sedangkan t-skornya sebesar 24,484. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara penerapan metode latihan dalam perolehan kosakata pada data pre dan post test. Diketahui nilai Sig-(2-tail) sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan efektivitas penggunaan metode drill dalam perolehan kosakata siswa kelas tujuh di SMP Islam Al – Muchtar Bekasi.
