Abstract

The National Hero is a title given to Indonesian citizens who fought against invaders who died in defense of the nation and state of Indonesia, or produce extraordinary achievements and works for the development and progress of the nation and state of the Republic of Indonesia. This research is motivated by the development of multimedia technology in various fields including in the field of education. The problem is that education in Indonesia still uses many conventional methods, namely by listening to teacher explanations and using books. This method makes students easily bored. Therefore, a learning media is made using interactive multimedia technology based on Android, so students are more enthusiastic about learning. Along with the development of information technology, there are now many devices have been created to facilitate access to information. Information systems about the history of Indonesian Heroes today are still dominated by books. Therefore, researchers will create a learning application for the introduction of national heroes use the development of android-based technology that is growing rapidly nowadays. The purpose of making this learning media is to help students get to know National Heroes in Indonesia to improve memory and nationalist feelings of Tanjung Morawa SDN 104238 students which was developed with Adobe Flash and Android Smartphones.

Abstract

Games are entertainment that everyone likes, both children, adults and parents. Apart from using games to lighten activities, it can also train the mind to find solutions to solving problems in games. In the past, games such as card games, chess, snakes and ladders, hide and seek and others were played traditionally. With the development of technology, the game has developed into a more modern technology. Now there are many new games that use modern technology in their production and use, technological developments can also be used in obtaining information and adding insight through the use of mobile gadgets, while a computer is a collection of several components that have functions that are interconnected to carry out a computer, but even though many people know computers, there are still many people who don't know what computer components are, therefore to introduce what computer components are, the effort used is to utilize multimedia technology, one of which is a game .

Abstract

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is a common digestive disorder, which can cause symptoms such as chest pain, acid regurgitation, and sleep disturbances. In an effort to improve the diagnosis of GERD disease efficiently, this study proposes the development of an expert system using the Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) method. The system aims to diagnose GERD based on previous cases that have been recorded on a case basis. The main steps in system development include data acquisition, knowledge representation, case similarity assessment, and problem solving. This research combines CBR approach with data mining techniques to obtain a more accurate assessment. System testing was performed using existing patient datasets, and the results showed that the system can provide a diagnosis of GERD with a high degree of accuracy. This research offers a significant contribution to the medical field in improving the process of diagnosis and management of GERD disease efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, or OCD, is a mental health disorder characterized by obsessive thoughts and compulsive actions that are difficult to control. Providing appropriate treatment is crucial to prevent further impact on the quality of life of OCD sufferers. Unfortunately, initial diagnosis is often hampered by time constraints and difficult access to doctors or specialists. Therefore, researchers recommend a PHP-based expert system using the Certainty Factor method. This system mimics the way doctors think when diagnosing OCD, based on symptoms selected by the user. The Certainty Factor is used to calculate the certainty of the diagnosis based on the entered symptoms. The analysis shows that this system is capable of diagnosing with high accuracy, even reaching 100% in some OCD cases. These results demonstrate that expert systems can be a powerful tool for early detection of OCD, allowing for faster and more targeted treatment and care.

Abstract

An automatic animal feeder is a tool used by cat owners to help ease their daily activities. When it comes to caring for animals at home, the most important thing is regular feeding. Regular feeding can make pets healthier and maintain their appetite. This is done with the aim of increasing pet owners' awareness of the food they feed their pets. Therefore, this automatic feeder was designed based on the Internet of Things (IoT). It consists of several components that are designed and connected to electricity and the internet. NodeMCU ESP8266 and Arduino IDE are the main components in the design of this device, allowing it to be operated using a smartphone. On the smartphone, users must download Blynk as a remote control for the automatic feeder. Through the Blynk app, users can automatically schedule feeding times for their pets. This research aims to assist pet owners who often leave their pets at home, ensuring their feeding times are maintained.

Abstract

PT. Transima Citra Indo Consultant, a company engaged in the field of tax consulting, requires a reliable data security system to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. One of the cryptographic methods that can be used is the One-Time Pad (OTP) method. One-Time Pad is an encryption algorithm with a very high level of security because it uses a unique key throughout the original message, thus ensuring that the encrypted message cannot be cracked as long as the key remains confidential. Therefore, this study will discuss the application of One-Time Pad in protecting employee data at PT. Transima Citra Indo Consultant as an effort to improve company data security. The results of this study are expected to provide significant benefits to PT. Transima Citra Indo Consultant in securing employee data, and also ensuring that only authorized parties can access it.

Abstract

PT ID Express, a delivery service company, faces the challenge of high levels of damage to goods during the shipping process. This damage ranges from minor scratches or dents to severe damage such as breakage or destruction, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and the company's reputation. To address this issue, a data-driven approach capable of comprehensively identifying patterns and causal factors for damage is required. This study aims to analyze the types of damage to goods based on shipping data using the K-Means Clustering method. This method is used to group damaged goods data into several clusters based on the level of similarity in their characteristics. The results show that the damage data can be grouped into two main clusters: minor damage and major damage, each consisting of five dominant types of damage. Through this clustering, companies can gain a better understanding of frequently occurring damage patterns and can design more effective preventive measures. This research is expected to serve as a reference in the application of big data analysis in the logistics sector to improve service quality and reduce the risk of damage to goods during the distribution process.
